Common Questions and Answers about Small bumps behind neck

bumps

I have small white bumps on my upper chest, neck, behind my ears, and tops of my shoulders. They come and go and I have treaded it with steroid creams and ketoconozal. While I was taking the ketoconozal I had no bumps but once I stopped the medication the bumps returned. I have been to a dermatologist and a GP with no help. I was initially being treated for a topical dermatitis under my arms that has cleared up.
i was just sitting here and i touched my ear and i felt a lump behind my ear on my neck...im very worried what could this be.....my neck has been hurting like i pulled it but that was on the other side. the lump doesnt hurt when i touch it or press on it...
I currently have small bumps on my neck (each side) just under my hair line behind and beneath my ear. they dont hurt or itch or burn. There is no redness around them, so i dont know if it is a rash. Also there not pimples because nothing happens when i pick at it or try to pop them. when i do this they just become more irritated and get bigger. i noticed them after i went to the gym two days ago.
) Could my infected earring holes be a cause of these painful bumps behind my jaws? Please help me doctor, I am freaking out because I know swollen lymph nodes are a symptom of HIV.
Swollen Lymphnode on right side neck, small hard lump behind right ear, and one on jawline. fatigue, gettin kinda hot, my hands been really red. For those symptoms I have researched very thouroughly. Get checked, especially for the last one.
Doctor, For the past 5 months or so I have noticed a small lump behind my left ear. This bump is on the bonde behind the ear (NOT the front of the face). The lump is hard, fixed, and not movable. It causes me no pain, and is about the size of a small pea. I have been playing with it lately, and do not think it has changed it size, and if it has it has been very minimal. About 2 months ago I had a doctor check it out, and the GP said that he didn't think it was anything to be concerned about.
it started with a small patch around my earlobes, then spread along my jaw and then finally covers my whole face and about halfway down the front of my neck as well as the back of my ears. the back of my neck has nothing. they are really tiny, and look like perennial goosebumps that itch, making my skin feel really rough.
My husband has been having skin rashes around his eyes, raised small red bumps, for several months and just won
Well I'm 14 and about a year ago I noticed two small 2cm bumps behind my left ear directly on the bone they are movable and I'm kind of worry I meet see my doctor later this week .... Should I be worried???
Yep--lymph nodes----I just had a infection that dealt with my lymph nodes on the right side lower neck up to the top of my neck with the one behind my ear very very sore---I did not run fever---but I had heaches, and very tired----I did go to the doctor and we talked about mono---but he said it would not affect the nodes in that way---he did put me on some antibiotics----they helped----but I had to go back and then we talked about mumps---all in all everything was fine----I just had a bad infect
I also had laparoscopic surgery on 11/22 to remove a dermoid if that has anything to do with the situation. I noticed today that I had a dull pain/pressure behind my left ear that seems to be fanning to my left sinus area. When I went to rub back there I noticed a small, yet noticable lump an index fingers width away from the back of my ear just before where my hair line starts.
I had hematoma 10 days post op,,, drain tube and all,, now almost 6 months my ears still itch,, they are not symetrical, one lower than other with earlobes different,, my ps didnt sow back lobe I put sticy adhesive tape , it was the weekend.. now I feel small pea size bumps under both earlobes???
The rash is described as small red patches and bumps that start on the face and neck and disappears the same way it came. Otherwise, you may need to have this checked by your doctor. Direct clinical examination of the rash is important for proper diagnosis.
Every summer after I get a slight tan I get these white little bumps lighter than my current skin color as well as a little rough. It doesn't itch at all. Not sure what I should use or if it is a fungus from the sun, I use sunscreen and can't seem to figure it out. Usually it is just around my stomach and mid back. Any thoughts?
Two days ago i woke up with a large amount of small invisible bumps on the skin behind my ears. It is not my glands because they are on top of my skin and there is hundreds of them. They are not red but they occasionally itch, it is not a constant itch though. Now, they are starting to spread to the back of my neck and my face. I've googled it and i have found nothing that fits this. If it progresses then i plan to see my doctor, but for now, does anyone have any idea what it could be?
The internet will cause you too worry so much and I can't really find out any info if a rash is linked to lyphnoma. Its like a large red area and then small red flat bumps that seems to be spreading. It is the ear that I talk on the phone with, not sure if that is causing it but I am worried that its the start of something bad.
Yesterday I noticed that I have very small raised bumps (they are not red) behind my ears, on my cheeks and down my neck. At first they were not itchy and now they have become itchy. I have not changed anything recently, like face wash or moisturizer. Do you have any idea what this could be and how to treat it? Thank you!
I have had recurring bumps show up on the back of my neck, the top and sides of my head, and around my ears. Occasional bumps rise on my upper back, stomach, buttocks and the back of my thighs. The most severe and painful are the ones on my neck and head. Recently, in taking some allergy medication, I noticed the redness and itching going away. After the allergy medication stopped, the bumps came back with a vengeance. They do not seem to be normal acne. They do not form a head.
A few nights ago i noticed bumps behind my ears, but they did not itch. I also noticed small bumps on the very upper middle part of my stomach and the area was a little pink. This rash doesn't really itch besides maybe a couple times an hour, but a little scratch from my finger takes care of it so im considering it non-itchy. I've tried hydracortisone and coconut oil but it has not helped. Today i woke up from a nap to find that i felt bumps all over my stomach.
It came back as an enlarged node over 2 cm with other small enlargements in my neck as well. I was sent to see a general surgeon the very next day. The thing is the node finally started going down after 6 months of being enlarged! However, a couple of weeks later two more popped up in my neck one on each side and they're pretty symmetrical. They're not rock hard, I'd say firm, but defintely movable to the sides. They also seem to shrink and grow almost every day.
org/posts/Dermatology/White-bulb-in-hair-follicle/show/768252 because the two comments after the doctors reply perfectly describe something my girlfriend has had. It's was small, hard, and clear white. It was a lot like a finger nail material. I found it on her scalp while running my hands through her hair. I was very firm and pokey. It looked like a short white hair but I pulled it with tweezers for her and the base was much larger in width and length than a "hair".
I am not sexually active so I know it's not herpes or STDs. I thought that the red bumps on my leg might be razor bumps, but they've changed from red bumps to flat red areas on my leg. A doctor told me that I have molluscum because some of them had "belly buttons" on them, but I haven't shared a towel with anyone or come into contact with another person.
i also noticed a yellow small mass on my right tonsil and the back of my throat has small red bumps is this normal???, i have tried gargling salty water but there still there...the camp medic gave me some anti-biotics but nothing has changed...i work in a remote area in afghanistan and medical facilities are limited here...please advise im getting very worried and i can feel the nodes behind my ears and groin...there are not swollen i can just feel them..is this normal too??
I have been getting these strange red, itchy bumps behind my ears. Sometimes they hurt and they come and go. I don't know if its an allergic reaction to something I use, but I never get them anywhere else. Sometimes they go all the way down the sides of my neck and its driving me crazy! Any thoughts would be well appreciated! Thanks!
I have had painful bumps around my vagina and thighs for several years. About 4 years ago I went to the local Health Department for my annual check up and I talked to the nurse practitioner about it. She said that they were probably hair follicles and that I should leave them alone. The only problem is they are very painful. They do not rupture. I have to squeeze them to release the puss, which is usually white or just blood.
For the last 20 years I have gotten small red bumps on the sides of my fingers. They don't blister. They start out as one or two and then I might get a few more and they seem to cluster up on only the sides of my fingers. They are not itchy but they are sore to the touch when you run your finger over them. It feels like you have a splinter. They are slightly raised and red in color. They will stay for varying lengths of time and then dry up and go away.
I have very small white bumps on my upper lip too. They are very small and only visible when i stretch my lip. There is no pain, but they seem to be spreading and becoming more noticeable (probably because im obsessing over it) Is this fordyce? If you already have fordyce on your genitalia is it likely to get it on your lips?
