I keep some Slim Fast shakes (or sometimes a store brand) in the fridge for those times when I don't have time for breakfast or just something quick. They come in several flavors and served ice cold, they are quite tasty.

Is it ok to drink slim fast while pregnant? I have gained too much weight so far. I started out tiny and now my mid section is huge! I'm not looking to lose weight but eating hurts. My lower back is in excruciating pain and I know it's from the weight gain and due to my belly sticking so far out. I'm only 25 weeks pregnant and I feel the only option is to eat tiny meals to keep up my energy because after I eat my stomach feels so tight b it just hurts.

Has anyone had any luck on the Slim-Fast diet? I just started it, I need to lose around 30lbs.

Has anyone used Herbalife shakes to lose weight and their other products? I am told by the sales lady that her other customers have balanced their diabetes with Herbalife shakes and vitamins and not needed diabetes medicine anymore. By drinking two shakes to substitute two meals they lose weight fast, like 10 lbs in one month. I am hypothyroid and diabetic and finding it hard to lose even 3 lbs. I fluctuate back and forth. I want to try Herbalife but want some feedback on it first. On Herbalife, you drink two protein shakes instead of two meals. You eat one healthy meal a day. You take a multivitamin and maybe an herb to curb your appetite. What does anybody think of trying this diet. I can't lose a lb by what I'm doing now. I eat no starch. Just veggies, fruit and lean chicken, meat and fish. Sometimes I cheat and eat starchy crackers and a little pasta.

Welcome to the community. Try walking at a reasonable pace. Also look into yoga as it's low impact and done at a slow very deliberate pace. Be sure to watch what you eat as well - might also help the e-coli infection.

Stay as far away from Herbalife as you can. It's a Ponzi scheme, not a supplement company. They make their money through the payments by their sales people, not from selling their secretive products that nobody has access to so can't determine quality control as you can when products are sold on store shelves. My guess is the above person is one of their salespeople.

Thank you Paxiled for pointing out about the garlic and other examples - it was exactly like that, just a lingering artificial sweetness and flavor of the tea. I'm feeling a little better today but still a bit strange. I really did go into this with a hopeful, open mind - I just figured it was a protein shake that tasted delicious, and maybe a hydration "tea" with a bit of a kick to it from green tea.

The only other change in lifestyle that I made recently was that I am taking Herbalife Aloe and regular Aloe Vera Juice in an intent to help heal my esophagus. My question is: What is the difference between Prevacid and Nexium in what it does and how it does it? Long term effects?... I have been on a diet for about 2 and a half months now and have successfully lost 26 lbs already with the help of Herbalife nutritional shake, aloe Vera and the herbalife tea. My weight when I started was 273 lbs and now I am already 247 lbs. However, My target is to loose 44 more pounds, but I seem to have stuck to 247lbs despite increasing my exercise and following my meal plan. I have chronic insomnia for about a year now. I have tried many anti-anxiety and sleeping pills some work for a couple of weeks then stop working. I am 53 and in menopause and have had a thyroidectomy for hashimoto's. I am currently trying Herbalife to help with the extreme weight loss that has accompanied the weight losss.
