hi has any one done the slim fast diet----(milkshakes) and lost weight.How lond could u go on for? I'm planning to go on it but will do only one shake for dinner and have breakfast and lunch as normal.

Is it ok to drink slim fast while pregnant? I have gained too much weight so far. I started out tiny and now my mid section is huge! I'm not looking to lose weight but eating hurts. My lower back is in excruciating pain and I know it's from the weight gain and due to my belly sticking so far out. I'm only 25 weeks pregnant and I feel the only option is to eat tiny meals to keep up my energy because after I eat my stomach feels so tight b it just hurts.

Has anyone had any luck on the Slim-Fast diet? I just started it, I need to lose around 30lbs.

Slim Fast was getting difficult to stay on track. I found myself cheating on the diet. My friend told me about the protien shake that Dr. Oz uses. There are a few recipes on his website. Right now I am using the Ultimate Breakfast Smoothie. It tastes awesome and it actually keeps me full for over 6 hours. I have zero cravings for food and sweets. I've cut back my dinner portion.

My cravings have mostly gone away for the most part...only 13 days left! But I craved french fries dipped in pickle juice and Doritos dipped in cottage cheese. I hate cottage cheese!

m counting points but I am also chugging back a weight loss shake everyday as part of those points. There is no way I could ever do the Slim-Fast plan or anything like it. I just like the amount of nutrients in the form of chocolate milk i can get! Makes a great difference if I need a boost before working out or just need something to keep me going while I make dinner. ^_^ Anyways, some of them certainly don't taste very good. My favorite so far comes from Wal-Mart.

I'm absolutely craving a big fat cheese burger with never ending French fries and some fried chicken. And I have non of it booooooooo Lol.

Just wanted to add that I, and a friend of mine, too, upon first trying Slim Fast thought there was magic in the shake, and thought we could eat whatever we wanted and take the shake and it would somehow do the work for you. Heh, well I learned you can't do a meal and a shake and that the secret is that it is about 200 calories per can, and it fills you up with protein, vitamins and minerals, so you don't get hungry.

You may want to head to a health food store and ask about a Weight Gainer Protien Shake or Liquid Meal Replacement like Ensure, Slim Fast etc. If you eat normal meals each day and add a Slim Fast drink you will gain some weight as you are adding more calories. m 30 now), I tried some of my mothers soy milk and instantly felt sick and had a upset stomach. Fast forward to today I bought a shake called ViSalus Vanilla Cream shake. It contained GMO free-soy according to the label but taking it was unbearable. I tried it a maybe twice, got a itchy/irritated throat. Even just swishing it around my mouth in a diluted dose produced a reaction. My question, how common is this? Why is it soy milk/soy shakes cause this?

I love chai tea lattes, vanilla chai tea iced frappés, iced coffees, iced caps, French vanilla cappuccinos. . I try not to drink to much cuz they are all high in calories lol but I have to every once in awhile.

Only thing that helps me is the Starbucks French vanilla frapp .

Oatmeal with apples n french vanilla iced coffee...
