Slim fast easy to digest coffee shakes

Common Questions and Answers about Slim fast easy to digest coffee shakes

slim-fast

Avatar f tn 'SlimFast is something that's quick and easy, but not something I'd rely on for an extended period. I have done it for a week, but only ever replaced 1 meal/dayl with it; I ate other food as well as the shakes. I only ever use it when I'm "on the run".... ' I'd agree that this is the best way to use Slim Fast. It simply isn't healthy or sustainable to follow the full 'programme'or to do it in the long run.
Avatar f tn Has anyone had any luck on the Slim-Fast diet? I just started it, I need to lose around 30lbs.
Avatar f tn Is it ok to drink slim fast while pregnant? I have gained too much weight so far. I started out tiny and now my mid section is huge! I'm not looking to lose weight but eating hurts. My lower back is in excruciating pain and I know it's from the weight gain and due to my belly sticking so far out. I'm only 25 weeks pregnant and I feel the only option is to eat tiny meals to keep up my energy because after I eat my stomach feels so tight b it just hurts.
655875 tn?1295695107 m going to quit the shakes soon to food and it should be easy for the transition. I have cut all the extra sugar, white bread and noodles, and chips out. I've even cut out the sweetners out and switch to water as my main source of liquid. I have not cheated once and I don't need those foods again. This was my biggest goal, to cut the junk and not crave it. I haven't been attempted to even eat any of the cookies that hubby has made for the kids. Peanut butter and chocolate chip.
Avatar f tn Ill wake up fine, have my morning tea or coffee even adding sugar now to see if that helps. Then the shakes begin. I eat and still feel really terrible for about an hour.im 10 weeks.
1279364 tn?1280682588 m counting points but I am also chugging back a weight loss shake everyday as part of those points. There is no way I could ever do the Slim-Fast plan or anything like it. I just like the amount of nutrients in the form of chocolate milk i can get! Makes a great difference if I need a boost before working out or just need something to keep me going while I make dinner. ^_^ Anyways, some of them certainly don't taste very good. My favorite so far comes from Wal-Mart.
193609 tn?1292180293 I keep some Slim Fast shakes (or sometimes a store brand) in the fridge for those times when I don't have time for breakfast or just something quick. They come in several flavors and served ice cold, they are quite tasty.
Avatar f tn Heya, Since food is quite problematic for me, and i suspect many other pregnant women too, i thought it would be nice to share some easy snack recipes, that are easy to digest and healthy for ourselves and our babies. I find easy to digest important to avoid nausea, bloating, constipation and other stomach issues us pregnant women might suffer from. I'll put some of my tips and recipes in reply to this post, to avoid time-outs. Hopefully you will share yours too! Enjoy!
Avatar f tn Gallbladder removal causes a lot of different complications(it takes unbearable pain away but it doesn't solve the problem) , the specific diet must be followed for entire life. As i mentioned a lot of vegies and milk products must be eaten every day, the biggest function of gallbladder is digesting food when you remove it your liver and pancreatic becoming responsible for this function , a lot of strain will go on your colon and stomach too.
Avatar f tn try sticking to natural foods as much as possible, much easier for your body to digest! I am a huge fan of whole wheat vs. White anything but i have just read somewhere though that for constipation (especially postpartum) eat white rice because our bodies are going through so much change, again easier to digest. Good luck!
Avatar n tn I had my gall bladder taken out because of stones when I was only 7 years old...probably due to complications with a medication I took when I was very young. I'm 24 years old now and I still have a very sensitive stomach and have diarrhea after eating most of the fatty and/or sugary foods you listed. However, I found that a diet high in fiber helps. The best possible fiber source is (organic) hemp protein with fiber added. I use Nutiva brand (you can find it on the internet).
1968463 tn?1374757813 What I may do, is just make sure to also eat small meals with my meds. Or, I can do what I know works....slim fast shakes two times a day and good sensibel meal for dinnner. I honestly think that it is more the feeling bad and not being as active as normal that has me gaining weight. i just dont think that I want to go so extreme while dealing with everything else I have going on. I think that it would just be impossible for me too do anyway.
1707055 tn?1316144521 First off, there is no healthy way to drop pounds fast. When you lose weight, you want to do it slowly in order to keep the pounds off and have the weight loss last. Second, according to your weight tracker status on your profile, you are already in a healthy weight range, so why are you trying to lose more weight? It's not healthy to go below a certain weight and your body needs many nutrients, especially as a growing teen.
378497 tn?1232143585 Yes, I get the coffee pee, especially if I don't dilute it with other drinks. One exception--the mocha cappuccino Slim-Fast shakes stay with me all day and into the evening, no matter what. The smell is waaay stronger than coffee pee, and way stronger than even if I actually had drunk a cappuccino or other espresso drink.
Avatar n tn well it sounds like it could be a number of things from crohns to colitis to ibs , but the best way to know for sure is to see a specialist and get a colonoscopy done.
Avatar f tn also try to avoid meat. It has lots of fat and it is healthier to eat more veggies and easier to digest. I would go see a Gastro Doctor....he can help.
Avatar f tn Well I have tried over and over again with pills shakes nutrisystem slim fast weight warchers etc you name it I tried it.
213991 tn?1214273019 protein shakes were at least one of my meals daily...look for food high in protien easy to digest...cheese, fish is easier to digest than beef or chicken...veggies too just the raw stuff aggravted me during detox...good luck..sounds like u r doing well..
Avatar f tn Welcome to the community. Try walking at a reasonable pace. Also look into yoga as it's low impact and done at a slow very deliberate pace. Be sure to watch what you eat as well - might also help the e-coli infection.
Avatar n tn t eat very many types of food...just toast, slim fast drinks, fruit and a little vegetables. Yes, I am losing weight...
Avatar f tn Twitches and anxiety happen but hand tremors seem more neurological. So, go talk to your doctor to get to the bottom of this. Let us know how it goes!
325224 tn?1342795914 The shakes are probably because of the caffeine in the coffee. Drink plenty of water to dilute the coffee. It will take several weeks to bring your TSH to a normal range. I would suggest getting on the brand name of synthroid or levoxyl instead of the generic form, levothyroxine. The generic forms are not always consistent from batch to batch and can upset the TSH level. It costs a little more, but at least you know that you are getting a consistent dose.
Avatar f tn I personally can only have 1 cup of coffee or tea in the morning otherwise I get irritable, sweaty and nervous. Switch to decaf herbal teas and you should feel much better.
