Common Questions and Answers about Sleep problems jumping

sleep

Avatar f tn Are you absolutely sure the jumping in his sleep isn't dreaming? Some dogs are very physical in dreams, they paddle, twitch, their legs go nine to the dozen, they sometimes jump, howl, whine, etc....all in their dreams! I am not saying it IS that, of course, just checking.... Throwing up a couple of times in a week, as a one-off event isn't too worrying, especially if the cause could be he'd eaten something he shouldn't, but with a very young pup, dehydration can be a threat.
Avatar n tn Your description sounds like sleep apnea, a common condition in which breathing stops during sleep. It may be helped by making sure that you never sleep on your back, but you really should be checked out by a sleep specialist physician. Over the long term, sleep apnea can have life threatening consequences.
Avatar m tn So I've been to numerous sleep studies because I just don't sleep well and wanted to find out why. As a child, I used to sleep walk a lot, which didn't seem to affect me much. As an adult, I essentially act out my dreams for about 15 seconds up to 5 minutes, then wake up and realize I'm doing something stupid and go back to sleep. Apparently my body does not paralyze itself like it should when dreaming so sometimes I just get up and do crazy stuff.

Avatar f tn Flattening of the diaphragms bilaterally, on chest X-ray, is usually associated with over-inflation of the lungs, COPD and asthma being the most causes of such flattening. It is extremely unlikely to be related to your dog jumping on your chest. Further testing, to include pulmonary function tests, would be appropriate at this time. You should also ask your doctor his/her opinion of what has caused the “flattening.
Avatar f tn This is my second question that I've posted. This is my first pregnancy and I'm 9weeks and 5 days. I have noticed the past week or so I have developed restless leg syndrome. I was wondering if anyone else has and if they eother knew why and/or had any suggestions. It makes it so hard to get any sleep. All other sources I've looked at say it usually starts in the third trimester. But I haven't even hit my second.
Avatar n tn Does any one get twitching, jumping and a "radioactive' FEEL TO THIR SKIN WHEN SLEEPING OR ABOUT TO FALL ASLEEP
Avatar m tn you will always be an addict. I do think you are alright to jump, you have prob tapered about as low as you can, now you are truely only dragging out whats to come. You are already feeling the w/ds just about as bad as they are going to get, you are only putting off an end. If you jump today you already know what you are going to feel because you are already feeling it, but after today you will have an end in sight, prob by monday you will be feeling ALOT better.

I cant sleep on my back (my body has never let me sleep on my back for as long as I can remember), and the only position I see to get comfy on is on my tummy but coked up slightly on my right side with my knee helping to prop my side up a little but I move a lot in my sleep and every time I change positions I wake up feeling a bit sick and get a slight pain in my abdomen.
