4804397 tn?1362162442 I go through periods of good sleep and then rather suddenly start waking at 4-5 (similar to your experience). It is very frustrating because the lack of sleep does catch up. I have no ideal solution except to maybe listen to some soft music and/or deep breathing to help you relax.
1450627 tn?1296616593 I am not having any problems getting to sleep its just waking up a hundred times that gets to me. I sleep with a body pillow and every time that I roll over (which is very frequently) I have to readjust so its just as comfy as the other side. Plus, I am getting up 2-3 times a night to pee. Sometimes I try and hold it because im too tired to get out of bed but when I do that I cant fall back asleep with a full bladder anyways. I agree with the other person who said to try and sleep alone.
7612493 tn?1393737078 Am I the only one? It seems as if since I got pregnant (even before I knew, now that I've thought about it) I've been up in the morning by around 7am!! Whether I go to sleep early or not.. haha. I used to be able to sleep in when I could, now no matter what... 7 in the morning is when I'm up. And I NEVER was a morning person. But it seems the morning is when I have the most energy now.. and later in the day is when all my pregnancy symptoms kick in. Odd. (: but I don't even mind.
3862348 tn?1348379200 said I have central sleep apnea, and have probably had this most of my life, a simple sleep study found this, and now I use a bi-pap machine, I now sleep very well (although it took awhile to get used to), and have not had those paranoia experiences since. This was several years ago, and if not for other medical problems that came on later, I would say that I was cured. Best of luck, and as always I will tell you to consult your Dr. with the issues.
2062192 tn?1333714423 Iv got one of the pregnancy pillows but it dosnt seem to be helping at the moment. I cant sleep on my back (my body has never let me sleep on my back for as long as I can remember), and the only position I see to get comfy on is on my tummy but coked up slightly on my right side with my knee helping to prop my side up a little but I move a lot in my sleep and every time I change positions I wake up feeling a bit sick and get a slight pain in my abdomen.

Avatar m tn Hey guys, I'm not too sure if I'm asking the right group but. it's worth a try. Lately I seem to be having problems waking up at midnight with a high heart rate. I can't get back to sleep without taking klonopin, I think it makes me sleep but isn't doing anything for the heart rate. I am only taking 1/2 tablet of synthroid (25mcg) low dose and I still have a TSH of 6.6.
Avatar f tn I go to bed without a headache, sleep well for 4 to 5 hours, then fall back to sleep 2 or 3 times 6:00 a.m. I wake up the second or third time with a painful migraine headache. The Frova is starting not to have an effect and Imitrex injection works. What would cause me to continually wake up early mornings with pounding migraines. I don't have and endless supply of medicine. Does any one have an opinion what is going on? I have a very good diet and don't drink..please advise.......
Avatar n tn Hi, I'm going to my reg doc for what is causing my dizziness, it has gotten worse this past year. So far I have anemea(?) and upped my welburtin. Avatar f tn I have trouble getting to sleep, and then when I do get to sleep I wake up a lot to use the washroom. And then I have trouble waking up and it really cuts into my daily lifestyle. Also, when I wake up I have this thick mucus in the back of my throat and my nose is constantly plugged and almost everytime I blow it its blood. Please help!! Whats wrong with me?
Avatar f tn You're waking up at each part of the sleep cycle when you go into deep sleep. You may want to post your question to Dr. Jacobs first to deal with sleep hygiene/insomnia issues first. If you don't find any improvement, there may be a sleep-breathing problem that needs to be addressed.

Avatar m tn Every night without fail I wake up in the middle of the night or early in the morning. Often the anxieties of life weigh down on me and I have trouble getting back to sleep. Is there anything I can do to help me sleep straight thru the night?
808293 tn?1238602183 I have sleep problems with all SSRI's. Celexa has caused the least for me, but still have problems waking early and sometimes several times a night. It really did help with the anxiety, though.

Avatar f tn Hello again. I recently posted a question on this board about a month ago: http://www.medhelp.org/posts/Relationships/New-guybut-Im-skeptical/show/1592763#post_7235971 I'm still seeing the same guy, and we've been dating now for over 2 months. Things have been progressing, and we've finally started meeting each other's friends. I talked to him about the planning issue, other things I explained in my previous post.
Avatar f tn My baby boy is 10 days old how long does it take b4 he will sleep during the night as of now he is awake almost all night and sleeps all day. .
Avatar f tn Do observe for some more time and follow few of healthy sleep habits like a regular sleep-wake up cycle, going to bed as early as you can, avoiding excessive coffee/tea, spicy food at night times. Regular exercises or stretches are beneficial. A warm bath, soft music and gentle body massage before sleep can put you to sleep without much disturbance. If it is continuing, consult your doctor for a sleep study and evaluation. Take care and post your thoughts.
