So unless the shirt covers the band you can still tell. Also my t shirts are now tight and I look fat in them. So it is obvious to people that know me.

Annoying though it is and it probably ruins his clothes after a while, it is a harmless habit which soothes him just like sucking his thumb or carrying round a security blanket would. My son used to do this too. The collars of his t-shirts were always damp, his cuffs stretched and chewed....and there was the corner of his duvet cover which was always scrunched, twisted and damp!! Obviously helped him relax to sleep to be sucking on it! I just ignored it.

Take something commfy to go home in like sweats and a T-shirt some slippers something to keep houself amussed oh and if you don't have them some higher cut underware so your c-section fight is covered. I hope that helped some.

Its such a disaster when its time to get dressed nothing fits anymore i wish I could just be naked all day lol its come to the point were I just put leggings on with my husbands t-shirt my poor leggings r barley hanging on all the elastic in the waist band is disappearing maybe I should go shopping lol

The bottom edge goes over the top of the regular material of your pants and the top covers your whole stomach unless you want to fold it over. When you wear it like that it looks like you are wearing a tight cami under your shirt if your shirt slides up (don't you hate that) rather then seeing the panel of your maternity pants. I absolutely love mine!

What he did was, when the baby was ready to sleep my boyfriend would take Off the shirt he was wearing and rap the baby in the shirt and then put him in the crib. The shirt had his Scent and the baby was able to fall asleep.

And I wear longer under shirts under my t-shirts. Going to buy a nice maternity shirt for my upcoming baby shower. I do have maternity work pants though, can't get away with the belly band for long with ems pants.

I've never heard of it being a thing to wear a dress to your shower lol I wore a big oversized sweat shirt and some jeans to my first and this time I wore a t shirt and leggings!! I don't really think it matters, wear what your comfortable in!!

I'm not sure about shirts, but if you can still fit in your pre pregnancy pants (other than your belly), I recommend getting th en belly button band. I ordered 2 of them and I can wear my normal jeans and leave them unbuttoned/unzipped and the band has a button and elastic band that secures your pants in place comfortably. My pants don't fall down or feel like they aren't fastened. I love the belly button band!
