t exactly sure if my period would come on Wednesday, May 18th, because I purposely skipped my last period and because I irregularly took my birth control pills. I had brown blood/discharge on Monday, May 16th, and it has continued from that day on. It's been a mix of bright red and brown so I wasn't sure if it was implantation bleeding or if it was because I purposely skipped my last period and because I irregularly took my birth control pills.
however you title acts like you are late on your birth control....if thats the case....missing a few of your pills will effect your period
if you werent late on your pills...then it could be your birth control pills that are effecting your period...it can make your period slightly late. (your not even that late at all) or the stress
im guessing you took pregnancy test because you have been having unprotected sex only relying on your pills...
I had protected intercourse the 1st month of June (and I am on birth control). My period came on regularly for June and July. It isn't supposed to come on until around August 17th now, but I started spotting and cramping 4 days ago and it went away, now I saw some more spotting today but no cramping. I thought my period was just coming early but it still hasn't really come, although it's not time yet. I was just wondering could this varied spotting mean pregnancy or what?
Okay so, im on birth control and you know how they have the set of pills you take and thats when you get your period? well, let me start off by first saying that, ive skipped those pills for two months in a row. i got a yeast infection so i took the period pills this month. well, i took three period pills, got my period, so i started back on my regular pills skipping four of my period pills. well, ive taken six regular pills already and im STILL on my period.

i started use Desogestrel in december at start when my period came was all fine period was gone after 4 days. january 4th started some lil bleeding and spotting and didnt stopped ever since. like 3 weeks ago i went to my doctor she said lets change to Slynd . but i am still spotting sometimes more sometimes less. my question is if i take a 1 week brake and resume taking pills will stop the spotting ?

I am currently on TriNessa birth control and this is my 2nd month of being on the pill. I have a vacation planned in about 2 weeks and the timing lines up perfectly with when I am supposed to be on the 7 sugar pills. This means I will have my period during my vacation.
I REALLY want to avoid this. Is it okay for me to skip the 7 sugar pills and go straight to taking a new pack of birth control, therefore skipping my period?
I had my son 4 months. And I'm on my birth control called jencycla.it's hormones insteasd of the regular birth control so it wont effect my milk supply I've been on it for 3 months now. The first month my period was normal. The second month I spotted enough to feel up one tampon. And havent had any signs of it so far. Everytime I bf my son I get extremely nauseated. And sometimes I don't have to even be breastfeeding to feel sick. I'm scared I could be pregnant.
Here's the story... Went off my bc onaccident last month (skipped 2 pills) got my period twice. A week after the second time I got my period ( which was at the scheduled time) I ha unprotected sex twice. That weekend I also switched to a new type of birth control.
Then about a week or so after that I had one day of light cramps and just very brown spotting that's it. I purposely went off my bc the day before that though because it says to discontinue if suspected pregnancy.

I would honestly never use birth control as emergency birth control because you never know how much hormone is in the pills and you could over or undermedicate yourself since the hormone levels could add up to more or less than a morning after pill. Huge doses of hormones at once are never good for you and could have messed with your cycle a little. Take a test if you suspect pregnancy is possible. Then, you can calm your nerves.
I'm 23 and on birth control (Loestrin 24). Normally my periods are somewhat regular, but really light and short. Last month I didn't have one, but I did have some slight spotting before my period was supposed to come. This month my period also skipped.
I have no other symptoms of PCOS except some acne on my chin (but occasional breakouts are not uncommon for me, I have oily skin, plus an expired skin product and eating wheat with my allergy may have caused this).
