I had rashes the first two months, then it cleared up, and now it's back again. Wonder if it has anything to do with allergy season? i get red dots on chest and back.
Only 5 days in on triple tx, with Incivo (incideous I call it), and I'm getting rashes inside my arms etc. As my nurse says it's too early for the Incivo rash, is this a Ribo rash? If so, do they last the length of the treatment, or come and go? And when may I expect the Incivo rash to come a knocking (IF it is!)? Also, you talk about Tylenol, which here is Australia it is Paracetamol, is this without codeine?
I was diagnosed with Hepatitis C 2 weeks ago and now waiting for the second test to see what type of hep c i have. During this time, i have a very weird annoying skin rashes. My doctor told me that it may be the result of liver damage because i did take a lot of drugs for allergies and the rash does not go away !!!! Also, i went to test for some STDs and its all negative. The itchy rashes usually appears on my butt, chest, feet, arm, sole, and palm.
My TSH levels were done it was in the lab normal range. My question is whether tiny raised skin rashes and swellings are side effects of b12 injections and bralix tabs. I have never taken these medications in life prior to this.
I've since had a transplant. All of this might have been adverted if one of those skin doctors had suggested I get my liver tested.
Hi, Does anyone in this forum have problem with skin rashes to huge pimples on their buttock....I was diagnosed with Hashimotos in 2009...I always had a problem with this...Last dec. i decided to tell my dermotalogist and she put me on Lamisil for 6 weeks (0ral, not cream) it helped.. now they are back and they very itchy and they also hurt when you touch that area. Lamisil had bad side effects, bad for the liver... Is there an alternative way to cure this...
This sounds like dermograpshim ("skin writing"), a form of hives induced when pressure causes mast cells--present in everyone's epidermis--to leak histamine. This form of hive is physical rather than allergic. It usually comes for no reason and goes the same way. I suggest you try over-the-counter Claritin 10 milligrams per day, and set up an appointment with a skin doctor.
Anti-itch drugs, often antihistamine, may reduce the itch during a flare up of eczema, and the reduced scratching in turn reduces damage and irritation to the skin. For mild-moderate eczema a weak steroid may be used (e.g. hydrocortisone or desonide), whilst more severe cases require a higher-potency steroid (e.g. clobetasol propionate, fluocinonide). Eczema can be exacerbated by dryness of the skin. Moisturizing is one of the most important self-care treatments for sufferers of eczema.
I tried to ask a question yesterday but somehow I ended up posting in a different forum, so here I am again, wondering about rashes and mycoplasma. Could a rash that is non itchy with skin looking cracked and appears to be sunburned sometimes with a mild sunburn like ache (although I have never been sunburned on my glans before) indicative of mycoplasma infection? The red skin feels slightly hot to the touch.
Even though, in sun light, i feel some part of my leg in reg color as leakage of blood inside the skin. I had used Minexil Gel(Minoxidil 5% ) 2-3 months back and my concern is whether the rashes comes due to the usage of Minoxidil( Allergy). If that is the case, is there any treatment for that? Or moisturizing cream is enough to recover this? Does it shows any symptom of Liver, Kidney or Heart prob? I don't have any other diseases like fever, cold, headache, body pain(except ankles area) etc.
Hello, Itchy skin that isn't accompanied by other obvious skin changes, such as a rash, is most often caused by dry skin (xerosis). Other conditions cause itchy skin as well. Skin conditions like psoriasis, dermatitis, lice, scabies and hives, internal diseases like liver and kidney disorders, diabetes, iron deficiency anemia, irritation and allergic reactions to chemicals, wool, soaps, cosmetics and certain foods can cause itchy skin. You can apply an anti-itch cream or lotion to the affected area.
Whenever I sweat, my groin itch a lot. Apart from having multiple sebaceous cysts, there is no other rashes and the skin color looks absolutely normal. I don't keep pubic hair to keep the area clean. If I use anti fungal powders, the itching decreases. I have visited doctors multiple times, but the medicines- FLuconazole and Miconazole based creams and tablets have not given me any relief. I tried Betnovet-M, but it gives relief for a very short period.
confusion, yellow spots in the whites of my eyes, skin rashes (mainly on my face and hands), itching all over my body, swelling of my abdomen, and dramatic weight loss. All of these are in my records and until 2 weeks ago I did not know they all had a common link. But, aside from the signs and symptoms, why would a CT scan of my liver come back normal and no signs of scarring?!?! I don't understand. I feel completely helpless, give out, and very scared.

People with lupus also may develop jaundice, a liver condition that gives a yellowish color to the skin. Jaundice in lupus also can be a sign of anemia or pancreatitis. If your liver enzyme levels are increased, this may be due to NSAIDs or acetaminophen, or may be a sign of lupus activity. Autoimmune hepatitis is a disease in which the immune system attacks the liver, causing the liver to become inflamed. Autoimmune hepatitis is classified as either type 1 or 2.

my viral load was undetected 8 months post treatment, and my liver test have been normal 18 months post treatment. My liver biopsy was Stage 2, Grade 2, with signs of beginning stage 3. I was genotype 3a. Now my question, I have been taking Trazodone an anti-depressant. It has been working well, I have more energy and a desire to do things, it helps me stay active. The problem is that there is a warning on about possible liver damage, and to use caution if you have liver disease.

I took Lithium ER for about at year & at first I would break out in hives or a rash when I would get too hot. During the summer months I would break out in hives if I stayed out in the sun too long or became over-heated as well. This symptom didn't disappear, but it did happen less & less the longer I took it (I noticed too that under great deals of stress or fatigue I would break out as well). My doctor just switched me to the regular release Lithium & the symptoms have reappeared.
Hi, I have been suffering from an unknown skin rash condition. The rash started appearing on my right breast/lower arm pit (when I was 30) and it spread to my lower abdominal, then behind my thighs, knees...neck, upper arm, lower arm, collar bone over the last 3-year time. I never had these rashes on my face, but they started appearing over the past 2 months above the neck. I have seek various doctors' opinions, but this rash remains a mystery and no doctor can provide a firm diagnostic.
it is all because their newborn skin is adjusting to the dry air after being sat in liquid for months... you can get it checked out, but it isnt out or the ordinary for babies to experience this...
