rash

Avatar f tn I tried dreft, had too much perfume and my kids broke out in rashes from it. I switched to ALL free and clear and havent changed ever since. Any free and clear is fine just so you dont have to worry about any allergic reactions. Also A LOT CHEAPER. If you want to use regular detergent thats fine too, just monitor babies skin and if you notice a rash, switch to a dte and perfume free one like ive suggested. Take care.

That's when I decided it can be good in babies skin....Burt's bee's, honest, and aveeno baby are good, gentle baby products in my experience....
Avatar m tn hi..... I have odd type skin rashes or swelling..... I live in cold county(canada). I get rashes only in the hands(from fingers to wrist only) that too only if go out only. Inside the house,I'm pretty normal. but once I go out(where the temperature will be in minus) I get rashes only in hands which is not covered, rest of my body will be covered with jackets and winter shoes. so which made me to think. whether this rash is because of the climatic change (this sounds really weird).
Avatar m tn I have this rashes, it started off with small circles, every time when i get up in the morning it grows bigger and it goes all over my body. it will look like big patches. it itch alot. took injections but still wont go away. what kind of allergy is this and how can i make it go away?
Avatar m tn I have been getting skin rashes from my early childhood. These Rashes tend to come mostly during the Summer months of the year. They usually seem like a mosquito bite. They first occurs behind the ear, then around the neck, head scalp and spread to the back. Finally i get them even in my face. They are very itchy . They usually seem to have a cycle like 24 hours. They start by afternoon and get intense by evening and disappear while i sleep. The body gets heated up so much during that time.
Avatar f tn They're on my arms, legs, and mid section
Avatar n tn Hi, Bumps that suddenly develop in the face or the body may be due to hives, a skin reaction to allergen, medication or infection. They are pink to red bumps or slightly raised patches of skin which may last for a few minutes or hours. In this condition, it is important to determine and avoid the trigger that could be causing this. Are there other symptoms present? Since the location is at her back, buttocks and thighs, it may also be due to an irritation or possible allergic reaction.
Avatar m tn Hello, It can be due to eczema skin which presents as red, dry itchy flaky rash in response to an allergic reaction. You can apply some calamine lotion at the rash as it will help in soothing the skin. You can take some OTC oral antihistamine medications like Benadryl or Claritin and see if it helps. For mild-moderate symptoms a weak steroid may be used (e.g. hydrocortisone as dermacort), whilst more severe cases require a higher-potency steroid (e.g. clobetasol propionate, fluocinonide).
Avatar f tn I don't know what cause it, but I have rashes in my neck, stomach, arms it started 3 weeks ago. I tried using hydrocortison ointment no help. The rashes comes and goes.Is there something I can use OT that will get rid of the rashes? Can this cause by prenatal vitamins? Or Birth Control pills which I've been taking for so many yrs. Avatar f tn I was on the hospital yesterday.
Avatar m tn This happened to me on the same day when I have GERD. Is it normal to have this skin rashes after GERD or this could be Shingles? Please help.
Avatar f tn I was on the hospital yesterday.
Avatar f tn My 2year old had a bad diaper rash due to diarrhea and I tried everything. Milk of magnesia worked great. I would pour some in a container soak the cotton balls in the milk of magnesia and rubbed on the rash I also used the burping cloths with warm water to wipe him instead of the baby wipes since it irritates the rash.
Avatar f tn Make sure to wash in cold water!!
Avatar f tn To find out whether your child is having contact dermatitis to milk(eczema)or he is having milk allergy(rashes are present in the mild form of milk allergy),skin tests and food challenge tests have to be done by an allergist.Pls consult him for that. Hope it helps.
Avatar n tn hi i would like to know if you can help me, every day i come up with a rash witch looks like cat scratches, they come up in different places , they come up and then go in a hour or so, this happens every day , i wonder if you could help me to know what iot is thankyou This discussion is related to rash that looks like scratches.
Avatar f tn You would be better off asking her Dr about that hun. Ive not heard of babies getting rashes from formula. It could be her diapers though too. I used to use pampers diapers but we switched to huggies after boys kept getting rashes. I would switch diaper brands, wipe brands, or laundry detergent before switching formula though.
Avatar f tn 5 weeks ago I noticed some itching right in the crease of my groin where my thigh connects to my scrotum, basically out of the way of skin-skin contact during sexual activity. The itching was pretty intermittent (itched for about 20 mins or so every 6-8 hours, roughly), and I basically just vigorously scratched the area when it itched for a good week before I realized that maybe scratching it was making it worse. The scratching/rubbing of the area seemed to make it itch more, so I stopped.
Avatar m tn Eczema is a form of atopic dermatitis. There are certain other non-pharmacological measures which are equally important in treating atopic dermatitis.
Avatar f tn I have found articles saying more babies are breaking out in huggies cause of what they are made of. Its like they are burning the babies skin. So I say pampers.
Avatar f tn A month after treatment I still had the skin issues do he tried me on a steroid spray called Clobex...The rash is now completely gone and where I had psoriasis there is only scars. You need to see a dermatologist.
