started having an itch on bottom of tailbone around 5 months ago, went to different doctors including dermatologist who cannot prescribe anything that relieves itch. the last doctor told me that it looks a little inflamed and that the reason nothing seems to relieve the itch is because the problem is deep and the topical steroids and anti fungas creams cannot work . i also received an injection of cortisone and it did not help. any ideas?
On the bottom of my penis, I have very red skin, this covers almost all the bottom of my penis from the head to the scrotum(note i am uncut). Also it continues a little onto the top of my scrotum,these are now in quite a few areas of my scrotum. There is also a few cuts like paper cuts where my penis meets my scrotum.
You can apply some calamine lotion at the rash as it will help in soothing the skin. You can take some OTC oral antihistamine medications like Benadryl or Claritin and see if it helps.
For mild-moderate symptoms a weak steroid may be used (e.g. hydrocortisone as dermacort), whilst more severe cases require a higher-potency steroid (e.g. clobetasol propionate, fluocinonide). Also use good quality moisturizers to prevent moisture loss from the skin.

Hi, I am a 31 year old male and I took 2 doses of fluconazole to treat a yeast infection, I now have a rash coming up on the bottom of my feet only on the arches , ankles, wrist, hands, and arms. They are small flat head and raised like blisters but don't seem to be filled with fluid and doesn't really itch, can the fluconazole cause this skin reaction?

hello , i hv noticed very small tiny rash near the bottom of my penis and on the skin of my penis last so many days. it is not itching or not red colour but it is of my skin colour i.e. black i.e. colour of my penis. these are very small tiny bumps raised. I am undergoing a treatment of allergy for house dust mites allergy and is on heavy dose of allegra.
I believe it started with my toes, where the first layer of skin started just peeling off on the sides and bottom, eventually I started spotting small circles on my hands. The spots on my feet are almost completely healed. But my hands I cannot tell whether they are getting better. the circles all eventually spread from palms, to sides of fingers, and the small circles would get bigger, and eventually connect to other circles until theres a big spot of skin missing.
The rash on my feet stays on the top and sides, but not the bottom. The red dot rash does not blister on my feet, but too is very, very itchy.
I use a steriod cream which does help and will stop the itching and clear it up, however it comes back often..which can be 3 or more times a month.

After i used the cream the rash finally began to disappear. About a week ago i got a different type of rash on my arms. i'am also having some problems with skin irritation in waist area (hips exactly) on left and right side. there are periods when i scratch the skin because it's annoying me. dermato said it;s possible to be an allergy to nickel...but it doesn't dissapear. it's almost 1 month...i'am also on entecavir 0.5mg from april this year.
It has generalized itself to the bottom of my scrotum and does spread to the sides time to time, it has also been at the bottom of my shaft at one point. The skin looks extremely dry, it flakes and peels off. The skin that is infected looks reddish pink and almost like a scar has spread over the area, there is also a small bump in that area. I have already used hydrocortisone cream 1%, which clears it up for the time being but is no permanent solution.

Hi, I have this rash thats on my upperlip right where my moustache would grow and around the bottom of my nose. Its more like a red patchy rash and it burns and sometimes itches. I had it before, but it went away after I kept applying "Cetaphil" on it every 15 mins for a whole week. Now it coming back and it won't go away. What is this rash called and I can I treat it? I have a bright red rash on the palms of my hands which is not raised and has no blisters. The center of my palm is usually white. My fingertips, on the palm are brighter red than the rest of the fingers and sometimes turn purpleish-red. The red skin is turning tougher than the white skin. The bottom of my feet is the same way. My chest, in the area right below my neck is the same. My cheeks, nose, and sometimes my forehead and chin are red.
Hello, hoping someone can help me out. I have skin that is peeling on the bottom half of my palm and only on the one hand. It just seems to be one layer that is peeling. It does not hurt nor is it red or rashy. Just really flaky and seems to be irritated more after I shower or wash my hands. Have a feeling its nothing serious just very annoying and unattractive. Could it just be from excessive washing?? I do TRY to moisturize often after I wash my hands.
Any ideas on what I can do?
