492936 tn?1244651570 The most interesting thing to me was about the whole milk. Apparently hormones are in milk. Estrogen is in the fat - testosterone in the skim part. Drinking skim instead of whole gives you more testosterone and we women need estrogen for a healthy pregnancy - that is why you should eat whole milk, regular ice cream etc. Other than the milk part I didn't get much from it.

I choose milk becuase it takes your stomach an hour to break it down. Therefor it will keep you full for about a hour and it's low in calories. I'm going to do an experiment on myself. I'm 118 pounds and 5'5" to this exact day and time I won't have anything other than skim milk. I'll keep teak of when I have it, how much and how I feel.

I drink 2% milk has part of my diet but since I started fertility treatments last month I switched to whole milk. I never cared for skim milk. To me it just taste like watered down milk.

Avatar f tn Whole milk is another change. I now buy skim milk and have found that not all skim milks are the same. Wal-Mart skim milk looks and taste almost like whole milk, so he doesn't complain. :) It's not always easy when your spouse doesn't work with you.... but your not alone... and you can do it!

Get to know the cafeteria and when you enter go to the salad bar, so you won't go by the dessert table. limit yourself to one dinner plate at meals. Use the USDA MyPlate graphic as a guide. Fill half your plate with fruits and vegetables, a quarter with whole grains and a quarter with lean protein.

I was suppose to have a 1/2 cup of skim milk (YUCK) but I used whole milk instead (bad me, but it worked) My advice to you is to see a dietician and if after your appt. one is not recommend - ask for one. I would never have been able to control my sugar if it were not for sitting down with one.

No running or aerobics which gets your heart beat above 110bpm. Walking is ok. You can go to a reputable acupuncturist/chinese herbalist who specializes in women's fertility. These are just some of the types of natural or complementary approaches that I feel works.

I had Grape Nuts with skim milk and a peach hardly high fat breakfast and start getting quezzy after about an hour. Pain snd cramps have caused me to clamp my teeth together causing my jaw joint to ache. Dr. says it will get better. Has your syptoms improved any? If so what did you do or have done? Dr put me on pill for GERD and still my nausea pill.

Avatar n tn Some people cannot have any dairy products at all yet some can tolerate cheese, yogurt but no milk (Some people can tolerate skim milk but not whole milk). Most people with lactose intolerance have loose bowels to diarrhea after eating dairy products and have mild to severe (depending on how much they eat) abdominal pains. Suggest having your son tested by an Allergist so you know if he has an allergy or just intolerance.
