skelaxin buzz

Skelaxin helps me out with that. Compared to the opiates I just got off of, I get absolutely no buzz from Skelaxin. It just makes me a bit tired. Not my idea of a recreational drug at all. ...now Flexiril, that's another story. I tried that out, taking a 10mg. Next thing I knew, it was the next day! I slept probably 10 hours, and had a druggy hangover for another half-day.

I am prescribed Celebrex and skelaxin. I have a question about the skelaxin. Well my job is physically demanding I work in a hospital I do patient care I "boost" patients, transport patients, help very unsteady patients get out of bed and walk. So quite often I need to take my skelaxin. My lower back tightens up and I just need some relief. I have been taking it a bit more often than I did say 6 months ago.

What do you know about soma? I know it is not a narcotic but it gives me a buzz...tell me what you know...

I don't think that amount of wine alone would elevate you enzymes but with the drugs you're taking I really don't know. I believe that Skelaxin may be associated with elevated liver enzymes is some people but again, I am not sure of this. I would Google all of the drugs you're taking with the word "liver" or "hepatic" eg "Skelaxin Liver".

My doc just gave me Skelaxin for my back pain and said it might help. I have been trying to cut back taking hydro and I don't want to take anything that is going to make me woosey. I started into therapy last week and it is really making my back hurt. The nurosurgeon I saw said I have from L-1 to S-1 messed up and he does not think surgery would help any. So he just said take the hydro because your not taking that many (only 3 a day 7.

t take during the day,as I have small kids and it made me VERY sleepy!) Then I was put on Skelaxin and I feel like that does nothing( 800mg. 3x day) I could take 2 at one time and still...nothing? I think I'm going to ask to go back on Flexeril(for bed time) to reduce my pain and spasms) Thanks!

oh and broke down and took a muscle relaxer. skelaxin. this shouldn't be a problem right? found an old script. ibuprofen was not cutting it.

Now that you have the background, here is my question - do you have any IVSM buzz tips to share? What works for you to quiet down the effects of this megadose of steroids? Last month I had a bit of the jitters and sleeplessness, but it wasn't too pronounced. This time seems a bit more..... hope you all have a good weekend and get some sleep for me!

This might be a bit random........I had decompression surgery 3.5years ago which was very successful, however since surgery I have a 'buzz' in my head, that is sort of like when 2 live wires touch and there is a buzz of electricity. It has settled down in the past year or so, it used to be 4-5x, really loud, now it's a bit softer and only a couple of times. The only time it happens (that I hear) is around 20 mins or so after I've gone to bed!

Welcome! Have you notices this buzzing happening when you put your head down to look at something? Mine did, right in the middle of my keister. I actually thought it was an electrical thing going on w/my computer hard drive because I keep my leg up on it at work. I'd look down for the culprit, buzz, buzz, would get worse. Lift my head up it would be gone. FINALLY! I figured it was happening every time I put my head down when I was driving home from work!

I'm 18 and a virgin (VERY single, never dated and there's no sight of any such relationship on the horizon). But lately I've had the WORST baby buzz (and don't even get me near an infant when I ovulate...I cried when I saw a baby...so random as Im not the overly emotional type). I'm not really sure what to do because my body seems very eager to procreate and I need to get my emotions under control.

The muscle relaxer the dr gave me is Skelaxin. Anybody else ever try this. I read on drug ******* the reviews and some people said it really helped without making them dizzy like most of them do. Man I sure hope it helps so I can keep weening off the hydros.

Anyone know anything about skelaxin? My doc just sent a script for that To my pharmacy in place of soma....

Today, my neuro suggested i try SKELAXIN (muscle relaxer) for the spasams I am experiencing. I will start those tomorrow. It says take 3x a day, every 8 hours. And if need be a 4th one can be taken. Does this sound right ........every 8 hours?? Please tell me what you think. I pray that everyone is doing ok. This limboland is really taking its toll on me and my family. Have not worked since Jan. that is putting a strain on us finacially. Not to mention, all the worry about my health.

I have had some kind of cold/flu, sinusitis (all in one) for about three weeks. Finally I went to the doctor she prescribes antibiotics, anticough medicine etc. I also developed somehow a muscle spams around my neck aparently due to excesive coughing. The pain became the worst ever to the point of tears. The doctor prescribed skelaxin 800mg, it didn't help, then I added 400mg Advil.. The pain somehow got better, but still there. So Went for Motrin 800mg with Skelaxin, didn't help.

As the result of a back injury in February, I began taking Soma and 10 mgs of hydrocodone at night to help me sleep. I took no pain killers during the day, just Skelaxin. I stopped taking Skelaxin several weeks ago and am now in the process of discontinuing the Hydrocodone. I took the last Soma and 1/2 of a 5 mg tablet several nights ago. This is my second round with trying to get off this med. The problem is the insomnia or sleeplessness that occurs in the middle of the night.

I will try to avoid them right now tho because they make me sluggish and I am already fatigued with my cut in dose of hydrocodne..anything can be abused...skelaxin is a fairly safe muscle relaxer.....

Felt bump and determined was musculoskeletal. Prescribed anti-inflammatory (Naproxen) and muscle relaxer (Skelaxin). Told me to take as needed (didn’t have to take the full bottle). Took prescriptions for 4 days, Skelaxin caused stomach cramping even when taken as directed. Urine test came back cloudy with high white blood cell count. Concluded was very dehydrated and sent off for tests to determine if infection was present. Also had me go in for blood tests.

I have taken muscle relaxers, migraine meds, prednisone (6 days) and more and more Skelaxin. I started seeing a neurologist two weeks ago and he put me on the prednisone and skelaxin he also did a MRI (w/o contrast) that came back negative.
