I ignored it but couple of days later it got worse. My doctor told me "tennis elbow" and gave me exercises like "pronationa and supination". I did it and still doing it. I used elbow bracing and taking pain meds. It didn't improve.

850661 tn?1245666056 I was once told that if you are pregnant you can still work out, but it is different workout. You are not working out to loose weight, you are working out to keep toned. They told me not to work too hard on the legs and build up muscle as it can make for a tougher delivery. Walking or a light run on a treadmill is still ok - just do what you can handle - same with the stepper. I would be ignoring the stomach crunches and the flat out run.

Cardio helps burn fat and will remove that layer right off your belly. Anything that can get you heart pumping is cardio so make it fun! Dance fast to an upbeat song. Do jumping jacks. Run in place or just run. Look up at home cardio workouts for some fun ideas. Zumba is a great cardio workout.

Avatar f tn also read on pregnancy stretching and exercising. Squats and arm exercises w/dumbells are okay as well. Start off slow then gradually increase. Most importantly, continue all of this after baby as well. Good luck! I'm in the same boat as well.

House work alot. Think ill join the gym as for weights ill stay away. I have two mini dumbells 2.5 lb each thatll do me haha I go swimming also. I was thinking of checking out aquaaerobics also.

We did the Plyometrics one that day and it was pretty awesome workout. I'm in pretty good shape and was a rower in college. Um that was 20 some years ago though but I wanted to get somewhat close to being in the shape I was.

I want to get back into Saturday morning zumba and cant wait to swim when our community pool opens on memorial day. I'm 21+5 weeks and have gained 8lbs all baby so far.

Running, tennis, kickboxing and rowing all use the core to stabilize the upper body during the workout. The abs engage, and at the same time get stronger and more defined. Avatar n tn m pretty close and have a six pack again. By concentrating on those goals, I was able to forget about the meds...almost 11 months now... Keep exercising and if you start to feel down, exercise some more. There were times I exercised 3x in one day...cardio, weights, cardio, etc... You can get over this hump... Stay Cool...

That is about six months, and during that six months I tried not to do any heavy lifting and the pain went away. I felt that six months was plenty of time to let it heal, so I started back into weightlifting. The day I started back into lifting it was ok until I started a shoulder press with dumbells.

I guess my emotions got the best of me and I just forgot. I guess I should tell someone cant"t do a thing till Mon. tho. Thanks for being there - Lynne P.S.
