Common Questions and Answers about Six pack tattoo

six-pack

Avatar f tn People tattoo artist do not use the same needle you cannot get HIV from an unshared needle. That's the most ridiculous comment I've read. HIV is serious. No one should say you can get it from a needle unless it is shared and if you are visiting a tattoo artist that doesn't open a clean needle from a sanitary pack that's scary in its self.
Avatar f tn The risk of infection is high and the risk of sending the fetus/baby into shock is extremely high.
Avatar m tn when i arrived at the studio i had to wait 20 mins while the artist set up and when he called me into the room everything was laid out in front of me and i saw the new needle in the pack, new little pots of ink and new paper covering the bed but because the tattoo was on my back i didnt see him put the new needle in which as got my really worried.
Avatar f tn It takes time to toughen up, it took about six weeks for me. Warm compresses will likely help, spend as much time as possible without a shirt on or anything rubbing up against the breasts. After you're done nursing you should express a little more milk, rub over both nipples and areolas, and let it air dry. Talk to a lactation consultant. They can help you out a lot to make sure your latch is good and that you're not having any other issues. Don't give up. You're doing great.
Avatar f tn I've been exercising for long time and i can feel my six pack (when i push my finger on my belly) but it's hidden under a layer of fat. Why? What should i do? Any tips?
Avatar m tn In second situation I went to tattoo shop and take one tattoo on my hand. he used new needle and take it out from pack, but before making tattoo he used razor ( i am not sure its new/ old) to remove little hairs from my hand and after that i noticed their is no cut by razor also before using razor he used AXE deodorant firmly on my hand...now i am little worried about that razor or tattoo making ink/equipment can transfer infection.
7615538 tn?1392668171 A reputable tattoo place will not tattoo you when you are pregnant and the last thing you want to do is go to a place that will! As for smoking. It's not a healthy habit even for non pregnant women but now you have a baby to Care for. Smoking can decrease the amount of oxygen the baby gets.
Avatar f tn It's not even safe to get one immediately after. You have to wait six months.
Avatar n tn My boyfriend spent some time in Thailand in January and came home with a tattoo. It was done in a tattoo parlour (not the bamboo tattoos some people get in Thailand) but i am concerned about potential HIV risks. He got tested and the result was negative.
Avatar f tn I just turned 18 and i decided to go and get a tattoo, the only thing i researched and that i was told by others is that its fine as long as it doesnt get infected... Is that true? Or could i miscarry?
Avatar n tn This was about 9 days after our tattoo. He then told us to come back in six weeks. We did so, and had HIV and Hep C tests about 7 weeks after the tattoo. Both were negative. I just read from Dr H that PCR tests after 9.5 days are 95% and HIV tests after 6 weeks are 95%, and my doctor says 6 weeks is the new window period as does the HIV person who does the testing at the hospital here in Sydney (doc sends blood to hospital for testing). Are we in the clear?
199177 tn?1490498534 I would turn my six pack into a nine pack, thin out some of this hair that is so thick on my head. Oh yeah in this fantasy avis, could I get a under eye lift too? LOL!

Avatar f tn If I were you I would call the blood bank and let them know you are on clomid and got a tattoo six months ago. You may not be allowed to donate. You do not need to let them know who you are, just ask if that would prevent you from donating.
Avatar f tn For me, hard work hard physical labor such as yard work, lifting, perhaps building a wall with stone ... this was the type of work that got me a six pack, but at the same time I was losing weight for a health problem (Celiac) so my body fat got low.
Avatar m tn I can have a few on the weekends and also can still get a tattoo from a reputable place and not any jailhouse or street tattoo artist that got me in this mess in the first place...Ive been lucky...most are not....although sometimes I think my right side still feels a bit "full"..but no actual pain....wonder if this will subside over time and after I lose a few pounds.
Avatar f tn Today was injection day - Week 39. When I went to refill my pill container, I discovered I missed two AM doses, six pills. Will this compromise my treatment? Took 2 tranquliziers, haven't needed them for a long time.
Avatar f tn I received I tattoo on Sept. 2, 2011. I watched artist open new needle and pour ink into a single use container. Afterwards I got worried about HIV and Hep C. I tested negative for HIV antibody at 10 weeks, 3 months and 6 months. I tested negative for HCV at 10 weeks but then REACTIVE at 6months. RIBA test is not available due to some recall but HCV RNA PCR test showed negative and non reactive. 1. If I contracted Hep C from tattoo would that increase the HIV window ...
Avatar f tn On September 2, 2011 I received a tattoo. I watched artist open a new needle and fill a single use ink cup. The shop was clean and the artist had his state certification posted as well as blood born pathogen certificate. Even so afterwards I got worried about HIV and Hep C. I tested at 10 weeks, 3 months and 6 months for HIV and all were negative. My HCV test was non reactive at 10 weeks but then REACTIVE at 6 months?
Avatar n tn We all know that no amount of sit-ups or crunches will give you a six- pack! A six-pack is the result of a clean diet as stated above, low body fat and hard, hard training. Crunches are what I consider a good "finisher" at the end of your core training, poor form often results in not much else than a sore neck. Instead, work your core with dynamic stabilizing moves.
Avatar n tn For a six-pack to show, you must reduce body fat. The body fat percentage necessary to reveal a cut torso varies according to your genes and body type, but for most men, a percentage of 6 to 8 percent will reveal abs, while for women require a percentage of about 11 to 13 percent. To reduce body fat, reduce calories below what you burn daily, which can be determined by finding your basal metabolic rate. A 250- to 500- deficit daily will lead to a 1/2- to 1-pound weight loss in a week.
Avatar f tn I am twenty years old and married, and now four months preg. I had an unprofessional tattoo towards the middle/end of july '09.the needle was new and packaged, but I don't recall about the ink he used, my friend says he separated the ink, but I cnt be sure. I developed an all over body rash after cleaning in very hot weather, about a few weeks or so after my tat. I went to doc and he said it looked like an allergic reaction, and it went away in two to three days.
Avatar f tn I need to pack my daily lunch healthier than I have been any suggestions
Avatar f tn I got a tattoo at 4 weeks. Had no idea I was pregnant till the night I got my tattoo finished. Sat for 7 hours and half of it is on my stomach! You should be fine just do drink again. And I was also on steroid injections. Had to stop those. My baby boy is perfectly healthy!
Avatar m tn All the information I have been reading on the subject seems to contradict one another. I recently had my first tattoo done at a pretty reputable place, and I would like to know the possible risk of contracting a disease such as Hepatitis C from being tattooed. I normally get blood work done every six months to a year that is mandatory for my job since we are high risk, How long should I wait after receiving my tattoo to get tested for any possible diseases.
