six-pack

Avatar f tn I need to pack my daily lunch healthier than I have been any suggestions
Avatar m tn I used the prefilled syringes - and a blue ice bag on a few long term trips out. As long as they stay COOL - not frozen - they will be alright. Just FYI usually the company that makes PEGASYS - offers and provides you a special "lunch" type box or bag with a "blue gel or clear gel" packet - and if you freeze that - it will keep it cold for about 10 hours in that lunch bag --- I used a literal BLUE ICE brand pack --- in that thermal bag - and it was fine for 24 hours.
Avatar f tn For the yogurt, you need to remember to bring a spoon. If you end up getting serious about this, you will probably buy an insulated lunch pack and some "blue ice" containers to keep things cool. Today, I brought to work a peach for my morning snack and a piece of leftover cooked chicken breast for my afternoon snack. I used the lunch pack and the blue ice, since I brought the chicken from home.
8241872 tn?1409339987 t think leftover fast food could taste so good, but apparently i now have a new found love for cold jack in the box tacos.
Avatar f tn Yeah. Just get a cooler. They make those freezer blocks shaped for bottles to make it easier. But if not, just stick the bags or bottles in a lunch box with an ice pack. I think it's good for like 4 hours? Then just refrigerate it.
Avatar f tn You dont have to wake up early to pack a lunch, I pack the night before. They usually take a sandwich and I always pack a fruit/veggy and they get a snack, like a fruit snack or pretzels or something to that effect. And I buy small water bottles and send them with that. I make it the night before and its really easy, and I know that my girls are eating a healthy good quality lunch everyday.

637356 tn?1301924822 I recently got some good for you cerial bars you get 4 packets with 3 slices in each little pack 95 calories a pack I thought great to keep in my bag for those little hunger moments that creep up on you, off i went with one pack, later in the day i got hungry so ate my 3 slices, well when i went to enter the info on the food diary i was so upset to find that each slice was 95 calories and not each little pack, as you said if you open a little pack 95 cals who would think that would mean just on
374593 tn?1257879950 Get yourself one of those insulated lunch box/bag coolers - you can get them at Walmart and such. Get an ice pack too. I found that the ice pack and bag kept the stuff cold for up to 15 hours. If you are heading to a hotel, let them know that you have medication that needs refrigeration. If they ask, tell them its insulin (they don't need to know...) and most places will provide you a mini fridge free of cost. Hope this helps!

285848 tn?1219092313 I like to pack my lunch too, and I get so sick of microwave meals. Here's some ideas... Try making wraps or pitas... they are good when you're sick of regular sandwiches. You can get yummy wraps & pita bread at the store and put in grilled chicken (leftover from dinner the night before, or you can buy it already grilled, sliced, and refridgerated. Costco sells huge bags of it you can keep frozen & thaw when needed)... with lettuce, tomatoes, cheese, whatever else you like.
Avatar f tn I really like the brand bammboobies. They are reusable and it's about 40 bucks for a six pack with three regular pairs and three overnight pairs. I love how soft and absorbent they are.
Avatar f tn Make sure you eat protein for breakfast and have protein with your lunch. Make a salad the night before and pack each ingredient individually in your lunch bag, so they don't wilt (or mix the veggies and keep the dressing separate)... then just grab your bag and go the next morning...For protein, you can include a 3 oz can of tuna (leave sealed until time to eat), chunked chicken or turkey, cheese, etc.
9310208 tn?1410859285 I get up every morning at 5am to make my husband's breakfast and pack his lunch.
1394098 tn?1385960134 Never, ever, EVER pack your meds (no matter what they are) in checked baggage. I've had baggage take trips to cities I've never seen. ;) While I didn't fly with interferon, I have flown many, many times with insulin. As long as the syringes/vials are labelled you're fine. My insulin bottles NEVER had a script label on them and I never got a hard time about them. No problems putting them in a small lunch bag with an ice pack.
229857 tn?1319029907 But personally I used them within one hour. You could pack an insulated lunch bag with an ice pack and the bottle(s) to keep it more fresh (this is what I do with regular milk as well).

Avatar f tn I have two children - an almost 4 year old girl, and a 16 month old boy. I also babysit two children - a 9 month old boy and a little girl who just turned 3. Their mother is a teacher, so I had them for a short time last school year, and then they were back at home for the summer. The little girl has been having some strange behaviors that neither the mother nor myself can figure out the cause of. We want her to be happy here, but cannot figure out the problem.
