A healthy diet should consist of adequate amounts of calories with carbohydrates, proteins, fat and plenty of fruits and vegetables to supply vitamins and minerals. Skipping any of the food components is not considered healthy. Also when aiming at losing weight the protein intake may be slightly increased and the carbohydrate intake slightly lowered.

Avatar f tn m thinking YWCA, or similar. First thing you should do is get a workout partner. Nothing makes you stick to a plan like a partner that wants it too. The local gym/YWCA may have fitness classes and or exercise plans designed for your needs. Check it out before you get discouraged.
Avatar n tn It starts with diet. Belly fat usually comes from eating too many simple carbs, such as sugar and white flour. That's why when it's really big it's called a beer belly, because beer is a lot of simple carbs. As for exercise, there are a million good ab exercises you can learn at your local gym. Cardio also helps with this. Don't expect a six-pack, most will never get there, but you can tone it but it will take work. Only you can determine if that work is worth it or not.

Avatar f tn 3 months ago i started tri cyclen birth control. I am on my third pack now. Last month i had sex and had a scare so two days later took a pregnanch test which was negative and right after took plan b. I still continued to take my birth control which at the time i was on the green pills but i started my period a week later which was pretty much on time. I had a longer period than normal about 6 days and i started my next pack of birth control while on my period cause the other one had finished.
Avatar f tn My plan is to carry on my meds in the prescription bottles in a six pack cooler. I place my pro click in a toothbrush holder with smaller ice packs in a cosmetic bag. Then place that bag in the cooler bag with the larger ice pack that comes with monthly shipping. I estimate that I have to keep this cold for a minimum of 12 hours. Preflight 2 hrs, 6 hrs flight, and 2 hrs post flight with a 2 hr cushion. Any ideas? I also have to carry snacks. Do you think this will hold?
Avatar f tn Oh, please, guys, you both know that not everyone or very many people will ever have six pack abs. Why would we want them anyway unless you watch too many TV commercials? You're both just selling something you want to be true because you both do it, but I'll bet a lot (if I had a lot) that Gymdandee for sure doesn't have six pack abs.

I guess my emotions got the best of me and I just forgot. I guess I should tell someone cant"t do a thing till Mon. tho. Thanks for being there - Lynne P.S. Took 2 tranquliziers, haven't needed them for a long time.
Avatar f tn No unfortunately:( I've sat out on a few trips to the amusement park myself, but keep in mind that it's a necessary sacrifice. Maybe plan a fun six flags trip for a time after the baby's born? By then you'll be ready for a momma-break!
