Six pack diet creatine

Common Questions and Answers about Six pack diet creatine

six-pack

Avatar f tn I lost 58lbs in the last six month on a low calorie diet (under 1000 calories) and my creatine level went up as did other numbers. I am extremely concerned.
Avatar n tn For a six-pack to show, you must reduce body fat. The body fat percentage necessary to reveal a cut torso varies according to your genes and body type, but for most men, a percentage of 6 to 8 percent will reveal abs, while for women require a percentage of about 11 to 13 percent. To reduce body fat, reduce calories below what you burn daily, which can be determined by finding your basal metabolic rate. A 250- to 500- deficit daily will lead to a 1/2- to 1-pound weight loss in a week.
Avatar n tn We all know that no amount of sit-ups or crunches will give you a six- pack! A six-pack is the result of a clean diet as stated above, low body fat and hard, hard training. Crunches are what I consider a good "finisher" at the end of your core training, poor form often results in not much else than a sore neck. Instead, work your core with dynamic stabilizing moves.
Avatar m tn Hey guys, I take around 1200mg of lithium carbonate a day for the past 4 years. I was diagnosed with Bi polar type 2. I'm curious If I can keep taking creatine, and have diet with increased protein. I know lithium can tax the kidneys if your dehydrated, but I was wondering if anyone else has had this type of encounter. My doctor isn't too worried yet about it since I've been on it a short time. Lastly does anyone know if taking lithium long term degrades your kidneys in general.
Avatar n tn According to my GFR, I'm in stage III renal failure, but my last BUN on 11/12/08 was only 14. It was initially elevated in April at 24, but has been in normal range around 14 ever since. I don't eat red meat, but have protein in my diet in the form of yogurt, cheese, soy milk and nuts. Does anyone have any idea what's going on? I don't work out or take creatine supplements.
Avatar m tn In fact, a guy I was lifting with was on creatine as his only supplement combined with his regular diet and I was on a high protein diet, and taking protein supplements. I got bigger and stronger than he did. (He started off stronger than I was and I caught him and passed him. Im not sure of side effects, but really there are side effects to almost everything, but I'd guess creatine is pretty safe.
Avatar n tn It is more impressive when someone can increase muscle mass naturally. WIth diet and exercise...even some Whey Protein and Creatine is okay, but lay off the illegal stuff. It will only cause you health problems later in life.
Avatar n tn Can you shed any light as to what it may be? I eat a healthy diet as well, the only thing that I have added recently is multi vitamin pills and creatine powder for my weight lifting. Thanks.
Avatar f tn He gets subcutaneous fluids daily at home and is now on a kidney diet. Initially he wasn’t eating the kidney diet but now he does. (Canned wet food) A few weeks ago he started getting myoclonic seizures. They went away recently for a few days and now are back again. I tried Azodyl for him but as soon as I started it he declined fast and got better once I stopped it. He’s on cerenia for nausea as needed and appetite stimulant.
Avatar n tn You can take creatine and it shouldn't hurt if you don't take too much, but really it's not necessary if your diet is balanced properly unless your're a pro bodybuilder or other pro athlete. If you have any doubts talk to a doctor just in case.

Avatar f tn Hi there, My beloved dog Lucky was diagnosed last Weds with an acute episode of kidney failure. His creatine was 3.1, BUN 128, and ALT (liver enzyme) 130. No major visible damage to kidneys, minor signs of chronic kidney disease in an ultrasound but they said nowhere near end stage chronic kidney disease. After 2 days of fluids and a brief treatment with antibiotics (which they discontinued when culture came back negative) his creatine was down to 1.

Avatar n tn Hi Everyone, I have been trying these for months and months but it doesn’t help me anymore. I am talking about six pack abs that I am trying to get. I joined a gym for this and the trainer told me that I would get them…but NOOOO!! That did not help me and later on I have tried a few tips that I have been suggested by my friends but that also was of no use (the whole thing helped the abs a little…but not as I wanted).
Avatar f tn I do a USG, and monitor creatine (1.0) and uric acid level (6.8), BUN (12.0), Urine creatine (250) are normal. Solubles like calcium (9.4), Phosphorus (4.6), Sodium (142.0), Potassium (4.9) and Chloride (105) are not very far from the normal high limits. These readings are consistent for about 6 years. However, sometimes I do get mild pain in lower right flank (somewhere where the kidneys are) and generally dissappears on its own. Lately, I am having swollen ankles.
Avatar n tn It also has argnine which will help increase blood flow and oxygen to the muscles. It also contains a form of creatine as well. Creatine will allow muscles to handle a greater work load. The only ingredient to be careful with is the caffeine. If someone is caffeine sensitive they should be careful with products like this as it could make them jittery. I have used it and it will help you handle a greater workload which can lead to gains in strenght and performance.
Avatar m tn Are there any people that lift weights or use any creatine supplements that have hep c here?I havnt used it in like 3 years but I am thinking about getting some again but I wanted to get a second oppinion to see if it would add more strain to the liver or what you would think or know..Anyway let me know.
Avatar n tn they keep telling me that i have a low creatine level. a possable cause of it can be flushing your system but i havent. ive been clean for quite a while. it is mandated that i do this program and can go to prison if this keeps up.does anyone know of a reason why this is happening?or how to get your levels up.
Avatar m tn Best treatments are controlling blood pressure and diabetes if you have them, following a kidney diet, and exercising. Limiting protein, certain vegetables and fruits high in potassium and limiting phosphorus (packed foods are a big no no) can really make a difference. I raised my GFR about 12 points using a kidney diet. That is the only thing I changed. I hate to admit it but I didn't increase my exercises. For some reason me and exercise do not get along. lol.
