Six pack abs vegetarian diet

Common Questions and Answers about Six pack abs vegetarian diet

six-pack

Avatar n tn We all know that no amount of sit-ups or crunches will give you a six- pack! A six-pack is the result of a clean diet as stated above, low body fat and hard, hard training. Crunches are what I consider a good "finisher" at the end of your core training, poor form often results in not much else than a sore neck. Instead, work your core with dynamic stabilizing moves.
Avatar n tn Hi Everyone, I have been trying these for months and months but it doesn’t help me anymore. I am talking about six pack abs that I am trying to get. I joined a gym for this and the trainer told me that I would get them…but NOOOO!! That did not help me and later on I have tried a few tips that I have been suggested by my friends but that also was of no use (the whole thing helped the abs a little…but not as I wanted).
Avatar n tn For a six-pack to show, you must reduce body fat. The body fat percentage necessary to reveal a cut torso varies according to your genes and body type, but for most men, a percentage of 6 to 8 percent will reveal abs, while for women require a percentage of about 11 to 13 percent. To reduce body fat, reduce calories below what you burn daily, which can be determined by finding your basal metabolic rate. A 250- to 500- deficit daily will lead to a 1/2- to 1-pound weight loss in a week.
Avatar f tn It just takes a lot of discipline, and you have to be willing to take it to the extreme! Diet is a major factor!! Avoid deep fried foods, processed foods, refined foods and foods high in saturated fats. Eat foods that are nutrient-dense, high in fiber and low in fat, eat lean meats, low fat dairy, whole grains, fruits, vegetables, seeds, nuts and legumes. No liquid calories.

Avatar f tn Oh, please, guys, you both know that not everyone or very many people will ever have six pack abs. Why would we want them anyway unless you watch too many TV commercials? You're both just selling something you want to be true because you both do it, but I'll bet a lot (if I had a lot) that Gymdandee for sure doesn't have six pack abs.
Avatar m tn Before i was fat, but now i became thin, but now i feel weak, and i want to have a really good physique. I want to change my workout and diet but the desire of having 6 pack abs is forcing me to keep on going on the same diet (which is starving myself). So my main point here is that i want someone to guide me. I dont want to be thin i want to be ripped. I want to like go on the beach and to feel confident that i have a good shaped and ripped body.
Avatar n tn However, the length of time it takes to get-six pack abs depends upon your gender, how consistently you train and whether or not you have an excess amount of body fat. Strength train consistently and follow a hypertrophy, or muscle building, program. That's a high frequency of training sessions, with each session being of high volume. Rectus abdominus muscles like all muscles in your body require a rest from strength training, so allow 48 hours of recovery time between training sessions.
Avatar f tn s possible to build six-pack abs through cardio workouts alone if you engage the core muscles. Running, tennis, kickboxing and rowing all use the core to stabilize the upper body during the workout. The abs engage, and at the same time get stronger and more defined. Doing ab exercises is the best way to sculpt the six-pack.
Avatar f tn Not that anyone knows how to best work the abs, though, as far as I can tell. For six pack abs, quite frankly, most who have them don't get them through exercise -- it's a sure sign of steroid use, since the belly should have some fat. You'll never see agricultural or hunter-gatherer cultures with flat stomachs. Other than this, the above post is right on.
Avatar m tn Hi people, everyone has concerns about the well being of their child I too have some. Lately, he is getting mad to get the abs (six pack abs as they call it). I don’t think that this is something bad but the ways he is trying is a bit crazy. He believes all that is being told to him and I can’t figure out how he can get them without training the right way with the right exercises.
Avatar f tn For me, hard work hard physical labor such as yard work, lifting, perhaps building a wall with stone ... this was the type of work that got me a six pack, but at the same time I was losing weight for a health problem (Celiac) so my body fat got low.
Avatar f tn I got my six pack back after my first. After my 4th, it was harder. I was able to have definition but always had a bit of a pooch in the lower area. I'm sure it will be the same after babe 5.
Avatar n tn You improve balance and engage your hip flexors and rectus abdominis—your six-pack muscles.
Avatar f tn Unfortunately there isn't enough information about what you're exercise routine is. If all you're doing is cardio and legs...... You're not necessarily going to lose weight and it definitely won't get you a six pack. You're nutrition is going to be about 90% of it but if you want to see those abs you're going to need to change up your routine.
Avatar f tn Many articles written about the flat abs fantasy. One geneticist stated its all in the genes for having a six pack. The goal should really be to decrease belly fat. I work out a lot, but my body just will never have the Hollywood abs mythos and I am fine with that. You are right. Its not normal.
Avatar f tn You get a flat stomach by dieting, any exercise will help build some muscle there but most people have a six pack underneath the fat already, and everyone has a "flat stomach underneath the fat.. This is why and on skinny guys don't count :P Also, a lot of people's pooch or whatever you call it has a lot to do with inflammation of the digestive track.
Avatar f tn I would eat every day, changing my diet to be almost vegetarian, but because it takes a lot of study to make sure you are getting all the nutrients you need on a vegetarian diet, you should eat a small amount of fish or chicken every day. The size of a deck of cards is all you need every day. Do not fry anything. Avoid foods like cake, bread, cookies.
Avatar f tn Hi I'm an athlete; I'm a pretty active one too. I was wondering what I can do to get a stronger core. I don't want like a six pack or anything, but I would like to see some definition. I am a water polo player. I also eat healthy and drink lots of water. Any tips thanks!
Avatar f tn Want to transition to a vegetarian diet! I am a type1 diabetic for 36yrs and this disease degenerates. What supplementation should I embark to maintain a balance nutritious way to eat?

1085545 tn?1284042254 I am also a vegetarian and found I had to make some drastic changes in my diet, but I am now able to eat a variety of foods and enjoy cooking again. What you need to reduce is your intake of carbs. If you are used to eating a large amount of rice (for me the problem was pasta) you will have to change that.
Avatar m tn I'm currently 15 years old, and found out my pulled hip turned out to be a lymph node infection caused by bacteria. I've really been depressed lately because I feel the issue isn't really resolving as fast as I want it to and it's put me way out of shape.
Avatar m tn From the literature, ITP is not a diet related disease or triggered by diet. You can take supplements, however, you would benefit more from the foods you eat. Suggest eating a moderate fat diet to gain weight slowly, protein (amino acids) and eat healthy. Moderate fat diet means = use polyunsaturated (omega 3, corn oil, nuts, etc) fats and monounsaturated (olive oil, canola oil, peanut oil, etc) fats, no saturated fats (high fat snack foods, butter, fat spreads) and no trans fats.
