The new drug sofosbuvir is so near fda approval hopefully. In the Uk will it be approved at the same time and will it be available within six months after approval? Any ideas?

No overall differences in safety or effectiveness were observed between subjects 65 years and over and younger subjects. thank you for your response! I just realized there is a significant typo in my story. The last CA125 was 118 not 188. Meaning it's ~ stable. That's why they are reluctant to change the chemo. However, after this cycle and another CA125 in early March , they offered to discuss the issue. I"m living in Japan, so it is sometimes difficult to find out which chemos are available here, because approval is much slower than in the states.
I can't thank you enough for your quick responses. It seems that all variables taken into account there is actually a very real and moderately high chance of getting herpes in this sort of encounter. I really don't know how to handle this. People say the odds are in my favor but I just don't see how. It seems like there are several people that frequent prostitutes and don't get STD's but I just don't know, especially here in Japan where there are so many sailors etc.
How long does it take to get approval? They have started the Insurance and said that it would take a couple of weeks for the insurance. What happens after the insurance is approved? How long for the testing process?
I believe the general consensus is sometime towards the middle/end of next year. They have filed for "fast track" approval - so that means it should only take about 4x times longer than it really should, instead of 8x longer.

I received the first rabies pre exposure vaccine (Verorab) yesterday in Japan on day 0 but I am leaving to go to another part of Japan in afew days. I was told here that I needed to do another vaccination on day 7 and then day 28 to complete the immunisation.
I contacted a clinic in the other part of Japan and they said I only needed the day 28 vaccination and then another vaccination 6 months later to complete the immunisation.

Here in Japan, we have Japan FDA, what i've read from Japanese internet is that,the window period for HPV is 3weeks to 8months, and 3 months on average, but for people who have normal immune system that one month is sufficient.
