sinus jaw pain when open

had a stabing pain behind left ear, it was between my ear and jaw bone, recently had two teeth pulled near the front. it hurt when i open my mouth and the ice cream made it hurt. I also have a sinus infection and sore throat.

Have the Sam e thing.Got a sinus infection that infected my eye and caused upper jaw pain. And some in my ear.

I have had jaw pain for many days, only on one side, now i have ear and throat pain on the same side, and my jaw hurts so bad, like I had been punched (or so I assume) really har din the jaw. It hurts to eat, and I have pain in my ear and a sore throat.....can anyone give me advise? Bad sinuses? Time to go the Dr?

t click, nor does it hurt when I chew, tho I am not able to open my jaw that wide. Ibuprofen usually alleviates the pain temporarily and I've been prescribed flexoril (haven't taken it yet). It's been 3 months and the pain hasn't subsided. Does this really sound like TMJ? I should note that I'm usually OK in the morning and as the day progresses, the pain gets worse.

Also, you might go to a dentist specializing in TMJ disorders or a maxillofacial specialist, because a problem with the jaw is strongly suspect with headache on the side with jaw pain. Do you clench or grind your teeth when you sleep? I'm a clencher myself and I have both joints with arthritis and joint disc dislocations, with one of them out of place even when I open my mouth (called without reduction, I believe).

good day i am 27 years old and have developed sinus over the years, with the change of seasons i sometimes experience discomfort in my face like the nose area and eye area when the wind blows my eyes get teary and i seem to cough, and about a few months ago i went to a doctor and he explained that there is swelling in my jaw appearently i have some sort of an overbite which is causing some skewness in my mouth, he gave my muscle relaxers to ease the pain, but the sinus pain aswell as the jaw

Definitely could be an ear infection/sinus infection. However, I would ask if your jaw pops at all when you open it? It could be TMJ as well. I suffered with TMJ for a while before I found out what it was from a dentist.

I have been have episodes of left chest pain and jaw pain for about 2 months. I have had a stress echo which was normal. I had a cardiac ct with calcium scoring in which my calcium score was 0 and my arteries were clear ( they couldn't see my right coronary artery completely but they assured me it wasn't my heart). I have been on Nexium for my stomach and have been referred to a GI doctor but I continue to have this pain and jaw tightness.

They go from my eye to my jaw and specific points of pain are jaw, base of skull, top of skull, behind ear, where shoulder meets neck. If I press on the space between my ear and jaw it hurts. When I open my mouth super wide, I hear/feel the slightest pop/crack noise on the left side of my jaw. I dont feel any pain until i open my jaw more than half way. My ear feels like theres a lot of fluid in it. I was thinking it might be an ear infection. But why would my jaw really hurt to open more than half way? It doesnt hurt when I chew either. Does anyone know what I might have?

Since October, I have had inner ear pain, neck and jaw pain, and sometimes shoulders and facial pain as well. I also get headaches and sore spots on my head at times.

Sometime that morning, I think I yawned and pulled the muscles in my neck and jaw on my right side. Not thinking too much of it, I waited for the pain to stop. This was last week and it has not subsided. It is sore in my neck to the touch, and the pain radiates into my ear and lower jaw. Neither the jaw or the ear are sore to the touch. My primary care dr. gave me Ceclor for a sinus infection after a few days because it sounded sinus related to her. Has not helped.
