649848 tn?1534633700 Hi and welcome to the forum... your screen name is "intriguing". This thread is a year old and prices listed were from Aug of last year. Since then, every time I've gotten a refill, the price has gone up. The last refill I got was over $300 for an 84 (3 months) day supply, which makes it over $100/mo.

460830 tn?1347219306 What was the problem with Singulair a while back? I heard something about it, but I never heard what the problem was with it.
Avatar m tn i just wanted to post a warning to other parents. my son was on singulair for over 3 years. he was taking the drug for treatment of mild asthma and allergies. he suffered from undetected side effects for 3 years. the side effects were sneaky and subtle and i did not pick up on the cause. at the age of 7, his physician increased his dosage to 5mg due to his age. after that increase, his side effects became loud and clear.
Avatar f tn My Dr has recommended I try singualr along with Allegra and flonase. He had told me the SIngulair will not make me feel funny, cause anxiety or heart palps etc...yet I see there are a lot of negative side effects. Does anyone have any experience on this medicine or just how safe it is?
Avatar m tn It causes asthma (Arizona Cypress, Mesquite and Palo Verde are the culprits.) Singulair has helped me very successfully in the past. However, I also take a very low dose blood pressure medication (Lisinopril 20mg). I do not have health insurance and have an alternative source for medications. Would it be advisable for me to purchase Singulair for 3 months to get me through those three months next year. This year was a bit difficult without it.
920032 tn?1550680156 lately my overnight breathing is causing me problems. i asked my gp for singulair but she prescribed atrovent. it does get mucus up but i am waking to cough it up. i have excersize induced asthma. it was on this site that i heard about singulair.
1088430 tn?1259159773 until dumby me went to the pharmacy to get what I thought would be the first refill. Horrified to find out that insurance would not cover anymore until next month! What the hay!!!!!! They did tell me that if the neurologist would write a letter detailing how my diagnosis was "chronic" to BCBS, they might cover more in a month. have any of you had luck with this? I'd do anything for some relief, but I can't pay from pocket full $180 every week. I'd go broke!
Avatar f tn My inhaler ran out about a month ago (and was expired anyway). I ran out of my Singulair and was too busy to refill my prescription for a couple of weeks. I finally refilled the Singulair 3 days ago, and the next day (after showing numerous homes) I felt like I was having a full-blown asthma attack. I could not get a deep breath, and realized I was beginning to hyperventilate. I called my doctor after hours and he called in a new prescription for an inhaler.
Avatar f tn The coupon is not but paying for entire prescription if your insurance won't approve you is. For that you have to have less than $100,000 household. My household is above that but I pay $5 per refill Here is the link http://www.mysupportpath.com Providers and patients can call 1-855-7-MYPATH (1-855-769-7284) for assistance I have just finished week 3 of 24 will be done May 4th. My first blood test is next Tuesday at the end of my first 4 weeks of treatment.
Avatar f tn You've attached to an old thread and I'm not sure the original poster will see your comment, but it's nice to know there might be pharmacies out there that would have the medication at lower prices. The problem may be that some prescriptions have to be filled within the state in which they're written. I'm not sure how that might work. It would sure be worth checking into. Thank you very much.
Avatar n tn 2 years ago he was put on Advair disk inhaler, Singulair, and Allegra D as his regimen. After about a month he started having a problem with his legs and groin itching. He took himself off the Singulair as that is what he decided was the problem. He has gotten by with just the Advair inhaler. In the past month he's really been struggling with breathing problems.
Avatar f tn Have any of you registered at Target and had trouble getting your 15% off coupon for registry completion? I haven't gotten my coupon yet. I called customer service and they told me the coupon code was emailed to me Nov. 5. I hadn't gotten it, so they said they would resend it and even though it's coming through email, it would take a week or 2 for me to get it.
Avatar n tn Most of the time it works well, but my new primary care doctor and an allergist I saw refused to refill my prescription. I do not want to use inhalers with steroids because I have type 2 diabetes and because I do not like the way they make me feel. Plain albuterol inhalers work but make me very shaky and do not last long. Is there a reason for this resistance to theophylline? Is it just because it is an old drug?
Avatar m tn hav been taking singulair for 3 years. Cramps in fingers, throat and leg occured common. Shoulders drooped. Standing and sitting posture gone really bad. Extreme tiredness 24X7. Always thirsty even after gulping bottles of water. Inactive physically and mentally. Become even more inferior in social gatherings and activities. Can't even meet minimum commitments and thus affects career and personal, family relationships. After dropping Everything became normal after 8 - 10 days.

370736 tn?1247242917 I have asthma and use inhaler (long acting and short acting) and Singulair. My pulmonary doc and OB said they're fine to use in pregnancy. I have been using my inhaler a lot more during pregnancy and I'm pretty sure it's because we are now breathing for 2 and our blood flow (which carries oxygen) is going for 2.
Avatar n tn I have been taking singulair for a couple of years now and have all of a sudden developed a head tremor.
Avatar f tn is there another medicine similar to singulair that doesn't have the bad side effects
