Common Questions and Answers about Singulair cost cvs

singulair

Avatar m tn It causes asthma (Arizona Cypress, Mesquite and Palo Verde are the culprits.) Singulair has helped me very successfully in the past. However, I also take a very low dose blood pressure medication (Lisinopril 20mg). I do not have health insurance and have an alternative source for medications. Would it be advisable for me to purchase Singulair for 3 months to get me through those three months next year. This year was a bit difficult without it.

Gilead shares spiked on the news Monday, driving up the entire biotech sector.
Avatar m tn New here. Anyone have Caremark CVS sending meds?? What is the co-pay? Just had my physician e-script meds and info to Caremark.
Avatar f tn as the main provider of hepatitis C medicine for patients covered through CVS Health Corp., intensifying a rivalry to treat patients with pills that cost $1,000 or more a day. Gilead’s Harvoni and Sovaldi will be the exclusive drugs for CVS’s standard commercial list of covered medicine, as well as its list for health-care exchanges, Medicare Part D and Medicaid, the benefits manager said today in an e-mail.
Avatar f tn I have alot to say about Singulair but none of it is good, unfortunately. My son was on Singulair for 3 yrs. I finally recognized the side effects he was having and discontinued. He suffered from leg pain, stomach pain, irritability, anxiety, quick to tears, easily frustrated and excessively fearful. At the age of 7, his dosage was increased to 5mg. At that point, it became very clear he was suffering side effects. All of the side effects I mentioned above were multipled x 10.
460830 tn?1347219306 What was the problem with Singulair a while back? I heard something about it, but I never heard what the problem was with it.
Avatar m tn i just wanted to post a warning to other parents. my son was on singulair for over 3 years. he was taking the drug for treatment of mild asthma and allergies. he suffered from undetected side effects for 3 years. the side effects were sneaky and subtle and i did not pick up on the cause. at the age of 7, his physician increased his dosage to 5mg due to his age. after that increase, his side effects became loud and clear.
Avatar f tn My Dr has recommended I try singualr along with Allegra and flonase. He had told me the SIngulair will not make me feel funny, cause anxiety or heart palps etc...yet I see there are a lot of negative side effects. Does anyone have any experience on this medicine or just how safe it is?
920032 tn?1550680156 lately my overnight breathing is causing me problems. i asked my gp for singulair but she prescribed atrovent. it does get mucus up but i am waking to cough it up. i have excersize induced asthma. it was on this site that i heard about singulair.
9704378 tn?1553726192 I've read that if its done in court that if he is the father he will have to pay for it and court costs & if he's not then the mother will have to pay for it but I'm not 100% sure.
Avatar m tn You can also contact your local dental society to see if there are any local free or low cost clinics which provide dental care as well.
Avatar f tn Hello, I would like to know if Armour and other natural thyroid medicines are covered by Medicaid? Also, what is the copay in USA if only regular insurances take it? Does CVS stock it? What about "biochemical" cortisol, progesterone, estrogen, etc.? -- Same questions as above. If I end up going to this specialist and he puts me on a natural thyroid medicine, and I end up moving out of state and going to a new doctor, what do I do about staying on that medicine?
1116801 tn?1292254540 Since the full course of meds is an expensive proposition they have deals with mail-order pharmacies for cost control. Some, like Aetna, have their own pharmacies. So, if you are starting treatment soon (think you said you were) one of the major tasks is to iron out the process for getting the meds. Once you have the prescription you should get in touch with your insurer (and their prescrition component) to see if they have any special med/rx requirements and/or rules you need to play by.
Avatar f tn .yes they do devolve very well on their own &n it does not take them lonq, i started takin them orally &n vaqinally last week...im from Florida &n Walmart did not sell them here either, i did find them at both Walqreen's &n CVS tho...idk where yu live but here they cost more at Walqreen's &n CVS has them buy one qet one free.
Avatar n tn t have insurance, you can still go to one of those Doc in a Box places like they have in CVS drug stores or other minor emergency clinics that are little for profit clinics. It's unlikely that getting this checked and treated will cost you more than about $100, and you might save your eye.
Avatar n tn Stop the singulair! Look it up on the web - there are all new reports that it causes all kinds of problems. My son was on it years ago - and he had a grand mal seizure - and the doctors laughed when I said I thought it caused it. I stopped it - and he never had another one!! Amazing, huh??
Avatar f tn Urgent care doc gave me a trial of Singulair (10 mcg for 3-month) and started feel less cough, chest tight (now use 2-4 puffs per month) and tickle, but still feel a bit congested. In Aug, my PCP referred me to ENT and suggested to add Astelin for treating me persistent rhinitis. I did an allergy blood test for 13 kinds of environmental allergen but it’s negative. I did ask my PCP if I am having asthma. She said it’s only an allergy.
Avatar n tn 2 years ago he was put on Advair disk inhaler, Singulair, and Allegra D as his regimen. After about a month he started having a problem with his legs and groin itching. He took himself off the Singulair as that is what he decided was the problem. He has gotten by with just the Advair inhaler. In the past month he's really been struggling with breathing problems.

370736 tn?1247242917 I have asthma and use inhaler (long acting and short acting) and Singulair. My pulmonary doc and OB said they're fine to use in pregnancy. I have been using my inhaler a lot more during pregnancy and I'm pretty sure it's because we are now breathing for 2 and our blood flow (which carries oxygen) is going for 2.
Avatar f tn They normally sell it at Wal-Mart or cvs it's a great product I personally love it :-)
Avatar n tn I have been taking singulair for a couple of years now and have all of a sudden developed a head tremor.
Avatar m tn Like a lot of things, the answer is, "It depends." Did the person have testing done from tissue taken during a CVS procedure, or an amniocintesis? If so, it would be as accurate as a blood test for the baby. Did the person do a prenatal test from a blood draw from her arm and a blood test or swab from the guy? Then it would all depend on what lab was used. The cost of a good prenatal DNA test is about $1600 to $2,000 dollars (US).
614661 tn?1267273924 re on our last few attempt to find a way to pay for this one prescription. It cost $289.99 at CVS. Now I know we can use some sort of card that may take a few dollars off, but nothing like we need it to be. Our income limits are just above the guild lines for coverage. What can we do?? Does anyone have any feedback that could help us pay for this drug? As far as I know from my research, there is not PAP Programs for this drug. Any recommendations or feedback would be really appreciated.
Avatar f tn Otherwise, I take Singulair year round. This year the humidity is especially high. I have had trouble breathing for over a month now. I am a REALTOR® and am outside alot, and have been showing a lot of vacant bank repos with no air, and lots of mold and moisture problems. My inhaler ran out about a month ago (and was expired anyway). I ran out of my Singulair and was too busy to refill my prescription for a couple of weeks.
Avatar f tn is there another medicine similar to singulair that doesn't have the bad side effects
16087137 tn?1445209323 t covered under my new insurance at all after I retired and I think a months supply from Walgreens or CVS (my local pharmacies) cost around $3-$400 per month. I'm not making alot of money right now, and when I mentioned that to my Dr. he unofficially assured me about generic versions made in Canada, that can legally ship to the US. I recieved a sample from this company: http://goo.gl/iw450u and am thinking about ordering.
