Avatar n tn The most obvious and severe symptom of deficiency of magnesium in pregnancy is the HUGE problem of preeclampsia or eclampsia- also known as 'Toxemia of Pregnancy'. About 7% of pregnant women end up diagnosed with eclampsia or preeclampsia. The symptoms of swelling in the legs, fatigue and sometimes dangerously high blood pressure can range from a mild annoyance to a deadly problem that forces you to have an emergency induced labor, a ruptured placenta or even a stroke!
Avatar f tn t know if these might be signs of pregnancy? My boyfriend has ejaculated in me plenty of times before ,but at the end of the month i get my monthly visit..I've never had these symptoms though. I've been so busy lately to go get checked, but I would like to know are these often a sign of pregnancy?
Avatar f tn I know i need to take a home test but wanted to know if these are early signs of pregnancy or is this my body bouncing back from the BC? also i forgot to mention that while on reclipsen i had two "periods" which consisted of no more than two days of barely spotting (not enough to wear a pad or tampon). Avatar m tn And yes, they are migraine medication and you take them at the first signs of the migraine, the SS, and it will stop the SS as long as you take it at the very first signs that it is starting. You can get it prescribed by a neurologist or your family doctor. It is better to go to a neurologist instead of an eye doctor. But... an eye doctor won't hurt because they can rule out any sort of non-migraine problems, it is VERY rare that SS can be caused by a non-migraine problem...
Avatar f tn will get you in sooner than a lot of ERs seem to treat a person when they have a usual type of migraine (or at least the way they used to treat me- as a low priority).
Avatar n tn Hi Your husband may be suffering from a condition called migraine. Usually migraine causes episodes of severe or moderate periodic headache (which is often one-sided and pulsating) lasting from four to 72 hours, and accompanied by gastrointestinal upsets, such as nausea and vomiting. Patients often experience dizziness too.
Avatar f tn I have been getting headaches on and off with this pregnancy, 3 times now i have had the signs of a migraine coming on but all 3 times i was able to get tylenol and to sleep before they progress farther... but i dont know what id do if it went into full migraine mode, thats scary! anyway i have been checking my bp when i can and it has fluctuated a bit -sometimes pretty high :( but when i went for my appointment it was 130 something or 80 something which i can handle!
Avatar f tn I also had really bad cramps which was actually everything growing and stretching. If you have any signs of bleeding I recommend going to your doctor or better yet the hospital.
