side pain on foot

Hi I'm curious about a week ago I realized my right foot on top was numb ...no pain ...then woke up this morning and now it's my knee on same side not my foot anymore. I have a perfect bill of health for 41 ..

When I walk, I can feel twinges of pain down the right side of the foot which prevents me from putting full weight on it.

I have had back pain on my right side from my lower back all the way to my toes.I also have pain in the middle of the outside of my foot. I am a hashimoto's disease thyriod patient.I wonder if the thyroid is to blame.I have been in pain for a year and a half and the doctor's are still trying to figure it out!

Hi all. Quick question... Why in the world does my left foot/ankle area hurt EVERY morning when I get out of bed. I had a simliar post about a "weird foot problem" a month or two ago, and it's still bothering me--only worse now. It's like my ankle on that side is so weak. I fell in the flower bed a couple of days ago, and running around the yard with my niece is a scary ordeal because my ankles feel so weak.

I also have pain in mine left side of foot and some time the pain in mine foot is high. i also have pain in mine left chest left side of shoulder. Mine parrents have history of Cardiac problems and have stunt. Several time i went to cardiologist mine ECG, blood pressure, ETT Ecocardiogram and Cardiac Enzyme all fine. Mine Colestrol level is also ok. i walked daily and never feel any problem in walking whether it is halfy an hour or more.

I get pain on the left side of my left foot - feels like I've pinched it really hard between my shoe and a rock. It also feels a little like a burn, or like I've gotten in some stickers or something. I also get really bad foot pain - feels like I'm stepping on rocks. This is a spasticity problem, and gets better when they're massaged. Mostly it seems like it's just a side effect of doing too much!

my one leg is much worse than the other and on this side I too have pain down into my foot...the foot will burn but not the leg/legs....with the legs its more of a tightness/muscle spasm feeling and the non stop ache... (hey I too need SPELL CHECK, you are NOT alone here either!) I have discribed my leg pain as they feel like they are encased in cement...maybe more accurate is they feel like they are CEMENT...heavy,hard to bend, and SOLID...

On Dec 27th 2013 I had a siatica flare up. The original back injury was 2 years prior with extreme pain in the left leg from *** to toes. It lasted few days and went away in time on it's own. I seemed to be fine except very slight tingling in left foot. Could walk and run as before. I dd get an MRI and it showed a herniated disc but I was advised against surgery since there was no pain. I was told the nerve would slowly regenerate a mm a day or something like that.

Difficult in walking because pain when twisted the foot inwards to the legs. The pain comes from the back side of my foot. What do you think is my problem? The pain is almost 2 months already. Thanks for the help.

Have had , 25 years ago, L4 back surgery and experience pain in the right hip sometimes at night if I sleep on that side but not sure if that can affect the foot on the opposite side.

I am having the same exact problem just without hip pain. My right foot on the side is always in pain. When I wake up it feels stiff and when I get out of bed pain shoots thru my foot and hurts all day. Doctor said it could be that I'm distributing all my weight to that foot because I'm in the final stages so baby is packing on the pounds.

I wonder if any one can help. I got out of my car and went over on the side of my foot and since then i have not been able to put my heel down on the ground, if i do a get a sharp pain all the way up my leg. I have had problems before when i was younger, i have too many bones / movement in my foot so that doesn t help plus used to be a dancer and week acheiles tendon excuse the spelling Can anyone advise me on what to do? Another problem is i am on my feet most of the day with my job.

Hi---I am a registered nurse and have recently been experiencing very sharp pain in my left foot....the top left side. I went to an orthopedist that specializes in feet and an mri was done and it showed nothing abnormal. This is the most painful condition that I have ever had. I am on my feet for twelve hour shifts and sometimes the pain keeps me awake at night. The next morning I wake up and my foot feels swollen and I have trouble walking.

I run track and a few weeks ago when I put on my spikes after a long time my heel started hurting. It didn't hurt me instantly, first my foot hurt on the top and then it stopped and when I was doing 400s for 1'20'' in spikes after runs my heel started hurting. First two weeks my heel stopped hurting the day after practice but now it hurts everyday. I just had 4 rest days and I did absolutely nothing and it still wouldn't stop hurting.

Hello, I started feeling an odd stinging sensation on the side of my foot (little toe side). I thought maybe it was a bee sting but nothing was there. The stinging would come and go so I took a closer look and felt a hard lump the size of a dime right on the bone of my foot. I don't know if it has been there all along or is something new. IT is bone hard and does not move. I have feet that are boney with bunions so I didn't know if this was just another aspect of that.

Is it normal to have swelling in this particular region of the foot because of a foot injury of putting additional pressure on the right side of my right foot ? I know for sure I didn't roll my ankle, but I did have additional pressure on the right side of my foot when going up that hill, because I was mowing it on an angle. When i touch the area that is slightly swelled, it doesn't feel like a mass or anything...just a swelled up area.

Hi I'm new to this site. In Jan. of 09 I had cervical fusion, in Dec. of 09 I had lumbar fusion. In Aug. I started the treatment (Pegasys Interferon and Ribavirin).I was wondering is treatment intensifying the aches and pains from the surgeries and I've developed several rashes.I go to see my GI on the 17.

I also have swollen lyhpm nodes since February and I have a swollen knee on my right side and I have lung pain and back pain. My back pain and my pain that runs down from my hip to my foot all happen a few months ago. I'm afraid if it's osteosarcoma :( all of my pain is on my right side.

You might have to get the MRI, I avoided getting one until I woke up one morning and could not use my left leg. I had been having lower back/tail bone pain on and off for months and they could not figure it out. The MRI revealed that 30% of my disc had broken out of my spine and apparently was floating in the spinal column until if finally just lodged itself against a nerve... and there went my leg, my foot was numb, I could not use it to walk at all. It required surgery.

This is my 3rd baby, and ive nvr had pain from a contraction on only one side. Let alone pain at all with BH. Im not sure if I shoukd be concerned or not?

I am experiencing extreme foot pain right now. My left foot hurts from the ball of the foot upwards ..toes feel like they are being pulled the wrong way. can't put pressure on upper foot. I walk on the heel or on the left side of the foot. This is the third time since xmas and it last 3 or 4 days. Now starting day 5...i have a cane but i can't find it cause i am always moving and losing things.

ve noticed that the bruising goes all down the left side of my leg and side of foot. Is this a normal thing to happen? The swelling has gone down considerably and I am walking with a little pain.

It sort of pulls and I can feel the pain when I lay my outside side of the foot on the floor. Last week I took a 4-day break off skating and the pain went away. I have skated for 3 days now and the pain is back. It's in the area of where the middle-foot bone(sp?) goes up to the ancle. I am under the impression that it's a little swollen and the area definitely feels harder than on my left foot. If needed I can post a picture to show where the pain is.

hi. ive been having problems with my left foot for about a week or so now. I got these calasses and blisters on my left foot that sometimes itch and now whenever I take off my sock, the blisters show up. I peel them off but some are so bad i pull off the skin and they bleed a little. I wash them daily and put goldbond powder in my shoes and in my socks and still get them. I dont know if I have athlete's foot or something else.

I see now some problem on the left rear foot, now three out of four. I looked because I saw him working on the left rear foot. He just likes to lick. He doesn't try to lick people, but I often see him licking hard surfaces, metal legs on a glass coffee table, or a wood door frame... strange dog. He is allowed outside with all types of grass and weeds, but in NJ it is mostly frozen now - seems that would not foster much to be allergic to.

No numbness, no pain no pressure,no headaches, just slight tingling like when you lie on your side and it falls asleep and your foot or ams wakes up. My physician said it might be a pinched nerve... It is just a little scary.

however the guy being a low grade locked up pulling me off balance as he landed. If got pulled over him and landed on the right side of my right foot. Followed by a crunching sound, which made sensai cringe. After that i sat off but since i have been unable to put much pressure on it. making walking almost impossible. there is no brusing yet but the side of my food and swollen up alot. Any suggestions on treating the swelling so that it is reduced asap.
