That's kind of a rare side effect with statins so am sorry you are in this boat. From what I've read, when it raises, it is usually because it was on the higher end of normal prior. Dr wants to put on another statin( saying this has less side effects) and extremly expensive...But I would like to try a Non Statin is there is one on the market, or would there be supplements that are available and have good results?

Unfortunately blood pressure meds often (maybe always) have side effects. I find even moderate levels of beta blocker give me some fatigue and some shortness of breath. I have other factors at play but will not move off your topic to bring them in.
I turn 75 in a short time and that doesn't help my fatigue problem either, I just "ain't" a young go-getter any more.
Usually the attending physician gives information regarding the possible side effect of the drug while prescribing the medication. It could also be Arthritis due to many causes. I called the Drs office today and he said these symptoms could not be from the med. I did research possible side effects a couple of days ago and these can indeed be side effects. Now, I'm not sure what to do. I was hoping he would recommend another med to try because on top of the stomach pain I'm having the bladder pain, tiredness and weakness. I guess my question is this. Has anyone had these side effects and if so did they go away?
Side effects range from serous to mild, with serious side effects running at an incidence rate of under .01% and the serious side effects do get reported as they require treatments.

I have to assume you are on statins (cholesterol lowering medication). Statin drugs are often associated with side-effects including nausea, headaches, dizziness, sleep disturbances, sexual dysfunction, fatigue, shortness of breath, memory loss, liver problems, muscle weakness, muscle pain, peripheral neuropathy and cardiomyopathy due to a depletion of Coenzyme Q10.
If you aren't taking CoQ10, start immediately.
Since your panic attacks are happening less, are the headaches numerous and a reason that you cannot take the medication anymore? Or are some of the side effects okay with you now that your anxiety is much better?
What does your prescribing doctor say about this? Headaches can also be caused by an endless number of factors in my opinon. Are you getting enough sleep? Are you still under a lot of stress? The point is, that the headaches may not even be related to the medication itself.
