nasonex

531684 tn?1216745984 I have to admit It was scary. Deep down, I think it is most likely a symptom of my using Nasonex. The reason I feel this way is because I typically wake up in the morning with a nose caked in dry blood and sometimes blow it out when I'm blowing my nose. Is this a typical symptom? Should I stop using Nasonex? The reason I'm asking is to feel secure, I will certainly see a Doc, but I don't want to worry all day if this is normal.

Avatar n tn Common side effects of Nasonex are fatigue, headaches, a lowered immune system (not good) and others too. A few people I know who have used this for a year or more mentioned that they got palpitations, and one friend said his PVCs increased. But one can't be sure whether the PVCs increased because of the Nasonex. I already have quite a few PVCs a day and don't need more. I'm hoping some of you have tried Nasonex (or Flonase, which is similar).
Avatar f tn So could this be the side effects of Nasonex after a month later and I still need to wait a bit longer or is this something I should continue to look into? It's really affecting my life.
Avatar n tn It is an herb that is both anti-inflammatory and drying. There are no side effects. My daughter had a relatively similar problem and this herb helped enormously.
Avatar n tn However, my son has been on other medications for sinisitis and bronchitis that could account for a headache. He now off of pulmicort, xopenex and nasonex. He is currently going through allergy testing as well. It is very difficult for me to try to determine the cause of the headache with so much going on with him. He is feeling completely better aside from this headache.

Avatar n tn ) - is a surgical incision of the vas deferens… (not sure if you actually heard it!..), however as a huge worrier of getting the possible long-life side effects from it, I have to believe and rely on that there is still could be one but an effective nasal remedy against this symptom, thus to undergo this risky and unpredictable surgery could be unnecessary!
Avatar m tn Have you tried the nasal spray? I think it works wonders. The problem with benedryl, other than side effects for me, is that I would suffer too much during the day time. I suspect the dose to my body is relatively minor, but not sure.
Avatar m tn I was paying $135 or so for Nasonex, which I thought was ridiculously expensive at the time. When Flonase became an OTC product, I thought Nasonex would become cheaper. That's what competition is supposed to do. But noooooo... I went to CVS today and the price was $218 for Nasonex. That is a total ripoff... Why did the price go up? So what's the difference between Merck, the manufacturer, and a robber with a gun on the street? Answer: The gun. Merck robs you without using a gun.
Avatar n tn 1) She prescribed switching off between Nasonex and Astepro--taking a dose of each on alternating days. Is this common? So far, neither the Nasonex or the Astepro has had any effect on my congestion. At times, my congestion I'm completely "plugged up" altogether. I called to ask the doc if it was OK to use the Afrin as sort of an "emergency" solution so that I could at least get some sleep.

548980 tn?1214822412 I spoke to my family physician after doing some of my own reading and determined that the Nasonex which is a corticosteroid may be causing side effects of anxiety and low mood. I immediately went off the Nasonex and saw a quick improvement in the level of my anxiety, however have still not felt quite myself since. I found many reviews online of others having similar scary side effects after using ?Nasonex.
Avatar f tn A few months ago I started using Nasonex every day because of allergies. Shortly after my heart started acting up, I was getting short bursts of tachycardia lasting no more than 30 seconds, but disconcerting never the less. That hadn't happened to me for several years, since my medications were switched. My GP told me that Nasonex wouldn't do that but I stopped using it anyway. I had an appt with my EP today and I asked about it.
538745 tn?1213755988 Tinnitus may be the result of age-related hearing loss or ear injury, or it may be an indication of a disease of your circulatory system. Many medications have been tried to relieve tinnitus with varying degrees of success. Treatment consists mostly of managing the problem. Your doctor can discuss with you steps you can take every day to reduce the severity of the noise or to better cope with the noise. I hope this helps. Take care and keep us posted.
