Also i have severe pains in my upper back to the right maybe my shoulder blade area.
I have over the six years i have suffered stomach pain but recently it has become worse. it is in my chest and between my shoulder blades; it radiates up into my knock and Jaw. I went to A & E at the weekend as the pain was so bad, they checked out my heart, kidneys, liver and pancreas; they all came back clear.
I've been having severe shoulder pain. It goes down my left shoulder blade and down to the left side of my breast. I'm 14wks and 4 days and trying to get used to my new sleeping habits since it hurts my ribs if I lay on my stomach. To my knowledge I haven't been sleeping on it or anything (my shoulder) but it gets to the point that I just have to lay my arm down. If I have something in my hand while the sharp pains happen, it usually falls from where I have no control.
Burning in upper stomach is usually due to acidity, GERD or reflux disease or hiatal hernia. I am a 61 year old male that is in fair health except for pain in my left shoulder. I have battled this problem for many years. I play golf and it is really working on my game now. Some days I cannot make a turn when I swing the club. My question is this. How dangerous is a cortisone shot? I cannot take the Advil's or Alvie's because I have had problems with pain in my stomach when I take them. They also raise my blood pressure.
The problem i am having is the pain is getting worse and worse, this evenign it is really painful my stomach is very bloated and the pain is all through my stomach and back i feel sick but havent been sick yet. Im unsure what to do should i go to the emergency doctors surgery? can anyone give some adivse/tips on easing the pain as pain killers arent working.

I have been given numerous reasons from stomach pain to muscle pain to nerve pain. I have been told anything definitive by a doctor or anything, though.
If you have pains in your chest and left side you should go to the ER and get checked out or see a doctor as that is one of the symptoms of heart trouble.
8-year old son has had stomach pain for the last 5 years(located just above his belly button and slightly to the right). He has has x-rays, ultra sound, testing of stool all with no results. It is severe enough it does interfere with his sleep.
He has a good appetite but can only eat small meals. In addition he is very small for his age 52 lbs and 45" tall;

Since the pain is not much chances of chest related causes are less. It is in all probability acidity due to medications you took.
Raise head end of bed. Take Omeprazole empty stomach in morning and an antacid gel at bedtime.
Recently I started having sudden onset deep shoulder pain. I realized that my shoulder pain occurs everytime I eat, when the food reaches a certain area as it is going down. Another possibility is ankylosing spondylitis. Back pain worse when sitting or lying down and feels better with movement is usually caused by ankylosing spondylitis. This is a genetic condition.
When I arrived at home, I was still in a lot of pain and had fevers and headaches also. I also started to experience a dull, severe pain in my right shoulder. This pain reminded me of a pain I used to experience for seconds at a time, years ago when I would run for miles and drink tons of water, however MUCH WORSE. About two days later the pain in my stomach started to go away, however it is now a week later and I still have constant headaches and an intense pain in my right shoulder.
My left arm and my neck up to the jawbone goes numb at times. The shoulder pain never goes away. I keep ice on it a lot plus take pain medicine and a muscle relaxer but nothing helps. I have tried patches, creams, massage, etc.
A little History: I have not done anything to hurt it. I had (left) thyroid cancer in 99 which spread to my other thyroid. I did have a cyst in that area that my husband squeezed very hard and a lot of white stringy stinky pus came out.
