Avatar n tn What underlying conditions if any do you have in your shoulders? I have had 3 shoulder operations and this is one of the things they warned me about happening if I did not follow all of my therapy after the operations.
Avatar f tn HI After having subacrominal bursectomy by arthroscope in december 2009 i developed a post-op frozen shoulder. I had no internal or external rotation and could only raise my arm behind my back to my hip pocket on my jeans. In march 2010 i had manipulation under anestetic with arthroscope and the surgeon achieved 160 degrees of movement. I have had physio therapy twice a week and have also been receiving hydrotherapy twice a week.
Avatar f tn I am a disabled Veteran. Due to my service connected shoulder injury I have had 7 operations. In the time I had the operations over the course of 4 years I was on OxyContin for three and a half years of it. Finally the shoulder felt better but the pain meds were quite hard to stop on my own so I went to rapid detox doctor in Manhattan that had me on a ton of things.

The chest ache doesn't feel like pain to much. It just feels like if I put pressure on the left shoulder blade then that's when the pain will go to chest. I wake up with stiff a stiff neck a lot. Sometimes these pains last a week and go away for several weeks. Sometimes they go away for 2 weeks.

Around 2008, I began to notice that my distance vision was deteriorating such that I couldn't recognise faces from any sort of distance and couldn't follow a golf ball on TV without sitting very close to the set.

Avatar n tn Hi there. I take it you are in the UK? I am also in the UK. Sadly we have to see separate Colorectal and Urogyne surgeons as I can see you already know... over here in the UK is so different to the US. Have you had any womens physiotherapy? I see you get tightening which stops you from strengthening your PF. This is something that can be addressed with a vaginal dilator if your PT feels this would help you.
Avatar f tn No, i live in UK an dr`s here don`t really go in for doing that with patients. Was offered a steroid injection and physio if things did not get better within 2 weeks.
Avatar f tn About a year ago, I fell at work and landed on my right shoulder. I went to the Dr later the same day as the pain was unbearable, he did exrays and said he couldn't see anything wrong, and said I had probably strained the muscle.
Avatar m tn The doctors have not been clear about exactly what they have done, but it seems that over the 3 operations they have decompressed the entire length of the ulnar nerve... transposed it... and removed some scar tissue... (possibly also cut a ligament) I basically feel so helpless and depressed that this hasn't worked for the third time and would like to know if anyone has anything to say that they feel is relevent or any suggestions on my plan of action or possible complications.
Avatar f tn I have a problem with my shoulder where it dislocates all the time so i end up in the E.R. allot. About 4 months ago i was given morphine before they put my shoulder back in and i developed a raised itchy rash where they had injected it on my arm. The next time i had morphine was about a month later (shoulder again) and i got a rash all over my body so they gave me an shot of antihistamine (poor spelling) and the rash went down.
