This morning when I got up my throat felt funny when I look into the mirror the back of my throat is swollen barely leaving any room for me to breath, am so scare right now i tried gargling with warm water and salt. I also made an appointment with an ENT doctor the sad news it wont be until two weeks time.

Recently my hubby and I had a baby boy. Shortly afterwards we noticed that Quincy (that cat) has been urinating Everywhere!!!! I assumed it was jealousy, however, late in my pregancy, he started doing what I have never see a cat do! He started sneezing excessively . These sneezes are also followed up with what seems to be an excess of saliva/mucous. He always seems startled when this happens and runs around trying to get it out!

Keep in mind if you have no symptoms of a sore throat, it could be something like oral yeast infection from taking antibiotics. I would go back to the doctor to inquire what is going on. Also, as a tip, it helps to take a probiotic when taking antibiotics in terms of cutting down from the consequence of removing all bacteria, the bad AND the good. Let us know what the update is.

But if your as bad off as you described, I would call my primary care Dr. If you have a severe sore throat, you could have strep, which is contagious. And if you've had it that long and no relief, it could turn into phnemonia. Call your Dr back.

Now the tooth has become loose and this dentist informed me that it will have to be removed once the infection has cleared up. This dentist also said that he was fearful of the infection spreading any further so he told us to be admitted to hospital for IV antibotics. So since tuesday afternoon he has been receiving IV antibotics and as of yet the swelling hasn't improved (in fact this morning he couldn't open his eye!).

I also got a bad reaction to Clindamycin a feeling of big lump in throat, sore throat and severe heartburn. In spite of the fact that I drank at least 10ounces of water with each pill. My question is since I'm allergic to penicillin. What antibiotic is effective for teeth and gum infections???? Thank you.
