Has anyone else had gallbladder issues while pregnant? I'm 34 weeks Monday and was just recently diagnosed 2 months ago with gall sludge and just last week gallstones. I've been having severe attacks to the point I'm in bed and feel like I'm dying. Hot flashes chills vomiting and severe stomach pain. I met with a surgeon and they want to remove it but not till after baby's here. Ob is inducing by 38 weeks at the latest but the earliest is 37.
I am 37 +3 and miserable at night mostly. I have severe heartburn and it's hard to even turn over. Nowmy hands are going numb and I wake up with them hurting. I cherish being pregnant but I am ready for this to end.
After i eat i feel like my food is on my chest and refuse to go down and this last hours after i eat...ppl think its heartburn but i nt think so i havent eaten spicy food nor do i eat late nor do i feel a burning sensation...it feels more like indigestion...i am 23 weeks...does anyone knows anything i can do to help with this?
It's depends in the pregnancy. Had diarrhea the whole time with my son's pregnancy. Lost 20 pounds or more the first trimester. Learned to only eat at home due to fear of becoming sick in public. This pregnancy my ob's has switched. I have had it this way for more than a year. Been on listeless to help with my severe bloating and constipation. It is the only thing that every helped. Stopped taking it a month and a half before trying to get pregnant and am completely miserable.
Is it normal to have heartburn this early in pregnancy!!!

Although they may not work for very long periods of time but your OB can recommend a medication that better suits your pregnancy. I had horrible heartburn in my last pregnancy, I would literally choke on pure acid (very gross, I know!) But after I delivered..I had sudden abdominal pain. I ended up having severe gallbladder stones and had my gallbladder removed the next day.
So I am having the worse case of heartburn. I always get horrible heartburn late at night like this. I have no meds and I have tried yogurt (yoplait wildberry) and I think the fruit contains acid. I heard milk coats the throat and soothes the pain but I have never been a white milk drinker... unless in cereal. But I do have chocolate syrup to make chocolate milk... will that work just as well?
Did anyone experience heartburn now? Please I need your help about it and I have taken TUM severally.
You are not that late yet but if you are worried you could always run a pregnancy test. A late period is not that uncommon unless you have reason to think u might be pregnant and even then, it is not time to worry yet. Give it another week but it sounds like your body is trying to gear up into having the event. If nothing in a week or so, do a pregnancy test, if that is negative, relax it could be simply stress keeping it at bay.
These late night heartburn be kicking my ***. Tums don't work no more and milk bearly work.

I've had outrageous heartburn with this pregnancy. In the beginning milk would work but after a while it got so bad nothing was working. I was even to the point of throwing up stomach acid my heartburn was so bad. I talked to my ob and she actually prescribed me prilosec because zantac wasn't working with this pregnancy like it did with my previous three. I would try tums, rolaids or milk or other remedies before reverting to prescriptions if you aren't big into taking medication.
Drink milk. Milk has started to help my heartburn.
I always felt the same exact pregnancy symptoms you mentioned, two weeks after conceiving. In my 3 pregnancies, I was miserable with nausea, migraines, heartburn, fatigue, etc.
But now, I'm 7.5 weeks with my fourth child, and do not have severe pregnancy symptoms, at all. I went to the Dr thinking I had high blood pressure or something but instead, I was 6.5 weeks pregnant!! I only have occassional food aversions and fatigue.
All pregnancies are truly different.
