I'm a junior in high school and I have severe acne scars on my nose. It's been awhile since I've had them, since before freshman year. I've been able to withstand walking around with such a face so far but recently I'm getting more self conscious.
I'm about to go to college in just a few more years - I don't want to still have these hideous marks on my nose. My whole face is scarred but my nose is the most severe and disgusting.
Also, what are the risks of additional scarring? I am getting the procedure done on bumps on my nose.
Here is my story:
I plan to undergo electrocauterization on my nose soon. I have a few bumps on my nose, roughly 1 large one, 2 medium size ones, and 3 small size ones. At first, I believed this bumps were hypertrophic acne scars. I thought this because the bumps appear exactly on the same location where I had pimples.
ve struggling with what some doctors stated is a rosacea. I break out after I eat anything spicy all over forehead, cheeks, all around the nose and hairline. I get the same result if I drink alcohol or am exposed to severe cold wind, temperatures, workouts. Do I have rosacea or is this some sort of dermatitis? I keep going to different dermatologists, but they prescribe me creams, pills and topical treatments. Although the condition gets somewhat better, the skin never completely clears.
This mark is from the glasses that I used to wear, where the nose pad of my glass use to rest on. The skin on which the nose pads rest on has turned dark leaving the shape of the pad. I taught it would go away after some time but it hasn't. Please help as this is affecting my personal and social life.

I also have some irritation under my nose from time to time. Also, on the side of my nose on the left side. I have large pores and pimples on my nose are always around. Its mostly red. They go away then come right back, its a cycle. Tell me what youve done. Anyone else with this problem? Also, after i shower My mouth area is really dry, but no other area of my face. almost 2 years like this.
The facial products turned my face red and I began to get bad cystic acne on my face, right next to my nose and on the sides of my chin. A year or so later, I used accutane, but only for 3 months or so. The accutane reduced the cysts but made my skin very dry, particularly on my forehead and lips. I stopped using accutane due to the side effects and basically gave up on my skin.
ve suffered from severe sweating since the onset of puberty and also had severe acne as a teenager. For acne, I was prescribe 6 months of accutane - which did wonders for my facial/body acne. However, in the last couple of years I have struggled with controlling back acne. For sweating, when I was 20 I received botox injections in my forhead and armpits - which worked well. Not amazingly, but helped for sure. I had been getting injections every 6 months.
I have had for the past 2 years small red bumps on my face in top of my nose, cheeks, around the nose, forehead, etc...I get red but not as much like other people. I used Elidel for 11/2 years and it worked great now I had to stop because of fear that it causes cancer. I have been using metrogel for 8 days but at first it was great and now my pimples are starting to come out again is that part of the process???
This is my 3rd month on it in the 2nd week of the pack and I am having mood swings (mostly tears, or severe agitation), really sore breasts, mild cramping and a few other ones I have had before in ealry pregnancy like stuffy nose(and blood in mucus), thicker CM, mild sore thoat, and acne. Has anyone experienced this on the pill... and I did take a HPT which was negative
An no I have not missed any pills and take them like clockwork every night around the same time.

I'm 16 years old now, and for the past year or so, I've had some acne problems around my nose.
Severe redness, small white pimples ..
Previously, it had only occurred on the sides of my nose. Now, it's kind've spreading over my nose and normal acne on my forehead is appearing.
Lifestyle changes include .. Stopping regular swimming squads, lack of sleep from previous 7 hours to 5/6 hours, big increase in appetite ..
Brevoxyl (4% benzoyl peroxide) has helped my acne, and seems to soften the sebum material. Takes a little time for your skin to tolerate it.
I've had this bump on my nose for at least 3 years. It's skin colored and it doesn't hurt. I can't see pores on it, so trying to squeeze it doesn't help. I've been trying all sorts of treatments, and it doesn't seem to respond. Everytime I mention it to my mom, she always insists that it's a scar and that it'll eventually go away. It's been 3 years! She's so stubborn that she probably wouldn't let me go see a dermatologist.
I am a 30 year old guy, my problem is that whenever i do sex or any activity involving ejaculation, everything goes fine except within 24 hour pf that, my stomach weakens and also my overall immunity level drowns down leading to severe acne condition on my nose and chin. initially small yellow pimples appears and than if this condition remains for 2 days it converts to more severe acne.
I have started noticing this condition since last 5 years.
Within the last year I've had two black spots grow on my nose. I originally thought they were acne, but the discoloration has stayed many months later. Does anyone know what they are and if the skin will naturally or through treatment return to normal color? By the way, the second upper black spot arose several months after the first. it is most concentrated on either side of my nose (not just ON the sides of my nose but on the cheeks near my nose as well) and in between my eyes and in that immediate area of my forehead. could you please tell me what might be causing this and what i can do if anything to remedy this situation.

The areas start out very much like a hive (red, blotchy, extremely itchy skin), but, unlike hives, end up leaving a red papule with the occasional white center that stick around for days to weeks. To provide some context, this all started after seeking treatment for mild acne (whiteheads on my forehead and extremely oily skin) about 3 years ago. The dermatologist I saw then prescribed Ziana gel, which worked relatively well (never completely cleared the whitehead problem, though it helped).
