After stopping serzone for anxiety, my husband had a reaction of severe insomnia after trying Lexapro for 3 days. His doctor suggested bipolar and put him on Zyprexa but is weaning him down gradually. He's on 7.5 mg currently. What side effects can we expect if he doesn't really have bipolar (which is our opinion) from this medication? We know the most common ones, but what if he is not truly bipolar? I can't wait for him to get off of it, but he is sleeping soundly again.

with no deppression i am now feeling deppressed and i think it is from a melatonine/5-htp combo, i know it is a seratonine uptake drug but i was on Serzone for 17 days and it made me extremely suicidal so could 5-htp be the cause?
When I went for the consult before this surgery, I distinctly recall the surgeon speaking about this. To tell you the truth, it was the part where in my head I said, ‘I think this is going to be more involved than I realized.’
I’d get another dr to look at it all. What kind of surgeon did you go through?

What is CRS? I am looking for something natural to see if I can get the brain cells connecting again. I was diagnosed with colorectal cancer at age 35. At the time I had half dozen precancerous polyps resected as well. I have no family history of colorectal cancer. I'm almost pass the 5 years DFS anniversary. I'm on 3 year colonoscopy recall now. I also have precancerous lesions in my stomach that my doctor and I both know are developing into gastric cancer (but we are also confident that with close surveillance we will catch it before it becomes cancerous).
When I was admitted to the hospital, one of the many forms they wanted me to sign was something about giving them "power of attorney". Thinking that meant I was signing over all decision making to them, I refused to sign it.
Did the POA mean what I think it meant? Or is it dumb to refuse to sign it?
