Common Questions and Answers about Serzone lawyers

serzone

Avatar n tn I had NO side effects back then. My doc is thinking we will try serzone. Does serzone work similar to remeron? If remeron works will serzone likely work when all these others just make me worse? I'm so frustrated.
1432927 tn?1283546704 There are many choices for anxiety and it takes trial and error to get the right combo. I suggest Nefazodone (Serzone) in a light dose at first, ramp to 150mg BID, Serzone doesn't have any any of the side effects of Paxil. There are known liver side effects for Serzone though and must be carefully considered with current liver function + follow liver functions while on it.
1115705 tn?1258815104 She wants me off any sort of benzo except for possibly .5 mg to use as PRN and to switch the Serzone to Celexa. The Serzone has black box warnings about liver issues and is banned in many countires. But, overall it did give me my life back. There seems to be trend in my area against the use of benzos. I am hoping to hang around here a bit as we slowly step through this process. The wean down from Klonopin began three nights ago with generic Remeron being the subsitue.
Avatar f tn After stopping serzone for anxiety, my husband had a reaction of severe insomnia after trying Lexapro for 3 days. His doctor suggested bipolar and put him on Zyprexa but is weaning him down gradually. He's on 7.5 mg currently. What side effects can we expect if he doesn't really have bipolar (which is our opinion) from this medication? We know the most common ones, but what if he is not truly bipolar? I can't wait for him to get off of it, but he is sleeping soundly again.
Avatar n tn I am 38, I had a complete Major Vegatative Depression in 1997, and was more lor less bedridden for 6 months - Nothing worked for me except SERZONE ( Now Called Nefazodone ) I have been on this Medicine for 11 years - I have struggled with Depression BIGTIME and only ever worked for my Father and my Myself, I could work at my own pace and about 20 hours per week for Dad till 2005, then I quit because I was not relaible due to my Symptoms that have always plagued me, I hate the Morning, I sleep ab
Avatar n tn Does Serzone cause weight gain and how does it affect your sex drive. This is my first time on this forum and looking for some answers.
Avatar m tn with no deppression i am now feeling deppressed and i think it is from a melatonine/5-htp combo, i know it is a seratonine uptake drug but i was on Serzone for 17 days and it made me extremely suicidal so could 5-htp be the cause?
Avatar f tn Does anyone know of any pro Bono lawyers in texas? Specifically around the dfw area or a reasonable family lawyer.
Avatar m tn Any lawyers out there? It should be a crime what some of these doctors are doing to people who come to them for help. Like a doctor who just cuts you off when you tell them you are dependent. They should at least be giving you enough to wean off like the drug company advices. And who are these doctors that are perscribing suboxone for like a year! Like they don't know that is going to be a horrible addiction to quit.
Avatar f tn Sorry I do not have ne list for lawyers....but we do have a thread with links on tips to get SSID....once u start searching for info u may also find names of Lawyers pop up in ads.....
148588 tn?1465778809 The additional money would have helped hire more lawyers; a 2014 study found that Missouri needed an additional 270 public defenders in order to adequately represent the state's poorest defendants. It's gotten even worse since then, Barrett told the St. Louis Post-Dispatch. He says he has fewer lawyers because he can't afford to replace those who leave for the private sector, and the system's total caseload has gone up 12 percent in the last year.
Avatar f tn I was in the loop to get it, but found that it would be at least 2 years of lawyers and court dates to get it myself. People in our town with BP who are on disability told me it took about 2 years to finally get theirs. Ten years ago I know a guy who got his BP disability in 18 months, but those budgets are gone. The disability web page explains it all, you should start the process asap, and try to find other ways to survive in the mean time.
Avatar f tn Start calling lawyers. It's a HIPPA violation and the hospital is at fault. Which city are you in? Im in Seattle and know a few. Im in the medical field and the hospital has to notify you but they have lawyers and will protect themselves so they dont necessarily have your best interest in mind.
Avatar n tn I have worked at Stanford University for almost 25 years and now that I have had a liver transplant they are forcing me to retire at 49 (I will be 50 when I retire), does anybody know of any good lawyers. I need help or some guidance and not much time. You can reach me ***@****, Thx for listening.
Avatar m tn I did have this problem many years ago, which is when I was originally given Ambien, and put on an anti-depressant (serzone), which helped. I have been stable without the Serzone for a long time. I decided to start taking B12, and Magnesium (oxide, crappy absorption) yesterday, and my mood improved somewhat, and some of the obsessive sensations I mentioned earlier have lessened. I have gone through several days of crying spells, missed work, and hopelessness.
Avatar m tn It started off as only visual symptoms, limited to my left eye. Just before I went on Serzone for depression, they started to get worse. I would see flashes/streaks of light, ghosting, halo's around backlit objects, increased floaters, the odd inability to maintain focus when looking anyone in the eye. And not for nervous reasons. Over the last few years, the previous symptoms have evolved into new ones which follow. Extreme sensitivity to moderately bright lights.
Avatar f tn Hi there, I just finished reading your comments. Are you taking any prescription medications of any kind ? Some prescription medications have a light headed feeling as a side effect. You said you have had phases of depression. During those phases of depression, did your doctor prescribe antidepressants? Many years ago, one doctor put me on a certain kind of antidepressant. I took that antidepressant for several years. Then for whatever reason that antidepressant stopped working for me.
Avatar m tn Many of these cases involve people who can’t afford a lawyer, and who didn’t want to become involved in legal proceedings to protect their interests, she said. Lawyers know it’s impossible to fight renewable energy developers, Smith said, and won’t take on affected landowners’ cases anyway. “Anybody who does this with a lawyer has wasted tens of thousands of dollars,” she said. “The reason I’m doing this is so people have a voice without bankrupting themselves.
Avatar n tn The only cause I thought later that might have been was I was taking generic serzone (since they took the name brand off the market for liver damage), but I'm not sure if the medicine I tooke was why it happened. It was said to be unusual to have one on my liver by a doctor, but not harmful. It is a collection of blood vessels.
Avatar f tn Omg!!! I'm praying for you! But it does sound like this was planned !! Don't just sit back and let this happen! Talk to HR.. And get a lawyers advice.. They will talk to you for free!
233488 tn?1310693103 and while it benefits it the FDA discourages it and the trial lawyers love it. If 10 people have a condition that will lead to poor vision and no treatment is known and a new medicine comes out that saves the vision of 9 people but causes a side effect in the 10th person who would lose their vision anyway to the disease then the trial lawyers are on TV trolling for the 1 in 10 to sue the drug company while 9 people have had their vision saved.
Avatar m tn If you have a strong enough case then some lawyers will wait to get paid until your lawsuit is over. I believe they call it consignment? I'm not sure if that is the right word. It might also help if you go to your local newspaper and news station. At least you would be puting the word out like you did in this forum. I truley am sorry for your lose, naleca and i know it will be a brutal process so the question is, Is it worth fighting for. That is totally up to you.
