seroquel zombie

This all began after my one i guess manic episode. I am currently on seroquel and have been for about six years i take it to sleep but am now getting off of it. Also i have been a drug abuser and used to smoke weed everyday but now when i smoke all i get is anxious and become even more withdrawn and quiet. I don't laugh or cry even when watching shows i used to laugh at all the time. I still appreciate the humor though don't laugh.

I had so much more energy, I felt like I was coming out of a long period of being a zombie. Unfortunately I had to stop Geodon because it started causing anxiety. So went back to Seroquel XR last year and have gained 20 lbs and back as a zombie. Now I'm starting Latuda, which apparently does not make one gain weight. I don't know whether it will make me feel anxious like Geodon did. Any comments will be appreciated.

Hey there, I was taking 100 mg seroquel in the evenings and was like a zombie in the mornings. However, it helped my anxiety. I've recently reduced my seroquel to 75 mg and I'm finding that I'm not so zombie like in the morning. If I get a bit of anxiety later in the day I take a quarter of kalma and that helps alot. I must admit I am so tired of being on this merry go round of anxiety and depression. I get depressed because I have mental illness and it ***** me.

said replace the 3rd xanax with the seroquel 25mg before be d to seep how it works. OK i start taking Seroquel Fri night. Sat. i feel tired a little out of it and feel like I'm gonna have a panic attack. I say OK it probably just the meds getting into me. sun feel the same way. Mon. feel like a zombie not in my own body, very jittery lightheaded. also i flipped out on my husband for no reason. took it again Mon night Tues.

i dont think im bp and the seroquel they put me on made me in a weird dream like state and a zombie. since the 3 months i have been on zoloft i have been great, few anxiety episodes and im driving again!! i was wondering if anyone has had that kind of reaction or experience.

Did he titrate down on seroquel? My son took that medication at a low dose for about 2 months. Will say he had no issue when coming off of it. The question perhaps is if your husband is having a resurgence of mental health issues even including a brief bit of psychosis related to his ptsd? Did he begin any therapy for ptsd? My son had psychosis with his depression for a period of about 5 months.

I'm taking a LEXAPRO 30mg, KLONOPIN 5mg and SEROQUEL 25mg cocktail everyday for my Depression/Panic Disorder/Anxiety and I can barley stay awake. I feel like a zombie. True I don't want to kill Myself anymore. But I don't really feel alive anymore either.

Doc has thrown in another new drug - Geodone - into my mix of Cymbalta, Lamictal, Lithium, and Seroquel XR. Had a bad reaction to Abilify so I am wondering if anyone has any experiences they can share. Thanks.

he put me on 200mg xr,s 1 at bedtime,,took them for 3 days made me a zombie..so now i take 25mgs 1 4 times aday,,even this makes me groggy throughout the day.....i cant find a shrink to help me,,so my family doctors been helping me....xanax wont stop manic problems even if you would do alot.........any suggestions???

Iam on seroquel and Iam coming off of it and iam on 400mg and once i take it iam out like a light and i canlt hear anything for the night and iam having a trouble waking up in the morning and iam feeling not to good my doctor is lowering them doese by doese but there has been times i havent been taking them at all and then i take them and when i do i feel really bad after that and i need get off of them because they have made me gain wieght and iam getting more sleep then i should be have been o

ve read where the seroquel can make me like a zombie, which i already feel like. and the wellbutrion can make me feel like i'm speeding. i don't know what to expect from this combo. guess i'll wait and see. but i'm a little afraid of the seroquel. i develpoed a bad twitching in the right side of my face from the abilify. and it was only 1mg. hope someone has some answers.

How can I safely-effectively wean myself off of Seroquel especially and at a later date topomax. I have put on 25 lbs. over 10 years and the Seroquel knocks me out at night and I feel groggy the next morning. 200 mg at night. I've lowered it to 100 mg each night this past week. I hope to do this for one month and see how it goes. My husband and I both dispute the bi-polar diagnosis of 10 years ago; not out of denial (as we are both very educated) but because of the symptoms.

I took Zeldoz for about 8 months after stopping Seroquel which had made me gain a lot of weight. I found Zeldox gave me more energy and I felt so much more "awake" whereas on Seroquel I felt like a zombie a lot of the time. So I'm not sure why it had the opposite effect on you. I lost 20 lbs on Zeldox.

I have been on meds for bi-polar and have developed tremors and memory loss (phone #, SS# etc plus other). I have gotten off the meds, been a few days, and am scared that this will be a permanent change. Friends who hadn't seen me in months, came over recently and were shocked and concerned about me, telling me that I seemed like a zombie. Hello Everyone! Anyone have positive effects on Seroquel for GAD? I know it's an anti-psychotic for Schizophrenia and BP1 & 2. I have read everything I can find on this drug. I have been given 25mg a night for GAD that has developed over the last 5 months. I have a history of severe depressive episodes and have been on Effexor for yrs (300mg/day). The depression has been held back relatively well but the GAD and some symptoms of depression are creeping in.

Jen is right -- it often takes a period of trial and error to find the right combination of meds for you. Seroquel did not work for me, it made me feel like a zombie, so tired all the time and I gained a lot of weight. BP often requires more than one medication. In my case, I am now on Lamictal (mood stabilizer) and Lexapro (antidepressant). Antidepressants can increase mania in bp, but there are some such as Lexapro that work well in controlling the depression part of it.

Hi, so yesterday I took my last norco and today I haven't had anything...I have chills, don't feel well and my sis found a seroquel 300 and she said it knocked her friend out before...I was thinking of taking it, does anyone have experience? I have taken 30mgs of valium before and stayed awake and just fine on it....so if anyone can let me know that would be great..I plan on taking it in an hour...

I have a BP friend that started Seroquel almost a month ago and she is still having sedative side effects. She takes 50mg twice a day and 200mg at bedtime. She is concerned about this side effect continuing and wants to feel peppy in order to start back to work. Will this sleepy side effect subside. She sleeps throughout the day. Thanks!

It basically turned me into a zombie. I went off of it and switched to seroquel, which I prefered. Seroquel causes weight gain and drowsiness, though. I gained about 20 lbs on it. I would take the dose at night but it was so drowsy that I would be hung over in the morning so I started splitting the dose and taking it 3 times a day which meant that I was drowsy all the time but functioning. They recently developed an XR form of Seroquel. I've been on it for 8ish (?) months.

I recently went though a deep depression and had to be hospilized. That is where I got started on wellbutrin. I know Seroquel will zombie you, it does everyone. Also, did you know that 60% of bipolars have migraine? I take magnesium 250mg twice a day, morning and night. It helps out a lot. You can get it at any drug store or walmart. I only have an occasional migraine now, comparied to three times a week!

I also found i would have to sleep at least 10 hours at a time on seroquel other wise you still feel like your a zombie.

I came to this site trying to find information about how long it would take to get over the w/d symptoms and this site has been very helpful compared to the other dozen or so I researched. I've been taking 20 to 25 5 mg percocets for the last 3 years (and anything else in the area of pail relief) I'm embarrased to say it but I should also say that most of those pills were ingested via my nose. Yep, that's right....pretty disgusting I know but that's the situation.

So i am day 10 of being sober off of a 6 year vicodin habit of 40 tabs of 750mg a day and cant get more than 3 hours of sleep a night. I just got a script from my doc for Seroquel and he says it will help with my sleep and anxiety. But he says it will be about 3-4 days of feeling pretty poor. I am feeling better every day and the last thing i want to do is go through 4 days of feeling like c r a p. I have tried Lunesta, melatonin and benadryl with no luck.
