Boost is great. It's probably the Ativan and Seroquel that helped with the RLS. It could also just be you are getting better. YIPPPPEEEE Congrat's on day 5 !

I would be inclined to recommend something like that before Seroquel. Some people have success with Seroquel, but in my own opinion, I think an SSRI is a more reasonable choice, for a few reasons. Obviously, MANY of the symptoms you experienced that were attributed to anxiety, were actually a result of the CM. The plus side of that is, I would imagine a good bit of your anxiety will be alleviated once those symptoms are brought under control post-op. When is your surgery?

I have depression and anxiety aalong with BPD and worked very hard with my doctor to find a med combo that would work for me. We finally settled on Lexapro 40 mgs. and Seroquel 300 mgs a day. I was doing great on this plan until January the first when medicaid in my state changed their formulary and will no longer pay for either of these drugs. Now I am on 60mgs of Celexa a day and my anxiety is through the roof. I cannot even function.

Just told me to exercise, and eat better. Gave me Abilify instead of that Seroquel and told me to come back in two weeks.

Im currently on Ativan, Pristiq 100mg, and Seroquel XR 150mg. My dad got me a bottle of GABA to try. Is it ok to try this while im taking the other medications?

I have chronic derealization disorder, this is by far the most predominate symptom I have. Occasionally, I experience some resemblance of panic attacks, however usually not so much in the way of autonomic hyperactivity or physical signs...more like severe "attacks" of derealization. I have been given 1 mg ativan for 3 times per day on a permanent basis. But I don't take it yet.

I had anxiety before going to bed so I took ativan. I also took my seroquel and trazodone. Will I be ok?

I was taking 50mg of Seroquel and 50 mg of Zoloft BID and was striken with Seratonin Syndrome and had a stroke on 11/2/09. The first 48 hours the doctors did not think I would survive. Fortunately the MD on duty in the ER had seen this once before and knew what to do. After getting me stabilized, I has massive seizures for 4 days. It is now 6 weeks later anf I am alive and healthy. Clinically in general the most effective mood stabilizer is lithium but each person reacts differently to each medication. Seroquel causing mania is rare. My experience with mood stabilizers was different from yours because I responded very well to Lamictal and Seroquel (which is an antipsychotic used as a mood stabilizer). all i had was some ativan and seroquel to detox with (from alcohol, benzos and opiates), the ativan went quick (gone the second day) and i ended up taking massive amounts of seroquel to combat the shakes, hallucinations and insomnia. i made it through seven days of pure hell and decided to get out of the house. remember this was 7 days without booze and pills. i drove about 10 miles at highway speeds and soon after exiting onto residential streets i had a seizure as i was driving.

I'm not familiar with Seroquel, but in regards to the restless leg syndrome, I take a full dose of Advil & Tylenol at the same time. I have serious problems with sleeping when I have the restless leg stuff going, and this combination does seem to help. (A pharmacist friend suggested the Advil/Tylenol as a safe combination when you need that extra-strength solution.

Just got some seroquel today and im a little iffy about it. Im currently taking 25 mg of zoloft, 1mg of ativan as needed, mostly for panic attacks, 1 25 mg hydrochlorothiazide a day for blood pressure, and now they want me to use 1 25 mg tab of seroquel at bedtime. Im only 23 and hate to think i need all of these meds, but when im not doing what the docs say i do feel worst. Im gonna try one pill tonite and decide if i need it i guess? Any Suggestions.

It took me forever to find a group I was comfortabale with, and they have me on a new daily regime of Seroquel, Ativan and Neurontin. The mix seems to be working because I haven't had a true meltdown panic attack in 2 weeks, which is HUGE for me. When I do have one, I get lightheaded, shaky, nauseous, dizzy, sweaty, and my heart races like I just ran a marathon. They tend to last anywhere from 15 minuets to over an hour.

My main worry is if it could be Tardives dyskinesia or beneign essential blepharospasm due to the use of Seroquel for 10 days with other meds. How great is the risk of taking it for 10 days? I think the dosage was 25 - 50 mg. a day. Would it be likely to show up this long after using it? I have been tapering off the Vistaril and Trazadone the past 2-3 weeks. Also, I know that lack of sleep, stress & anxiety, & fibromyalgia also can cause muscle twitching.

I believe I did because I went to a doc and he said I could just stop taking Remeron since it pooped out on me. This was certainly a mistake, because I got a severe several weeks of very bad anxiety, added to this I was panicking over something that I thought I had wrong with me that alot of women have gotten these days.. I am so so tired lately. I take Ativan when needed for anxiety, which is more like .5 mg a day, at most 1mg. I'm on pristiq for depression, and seroquoel to stablize my mood and help the pristiq work better. I'm also on toporal XL to keep my heart from racing all the time. The doctor said to avoid all caffeine which i do, only water, juice, sprite and soy milk! I avoid any type of OTC meds with caffeine too. But i am so stinking tired and have zero energy becuase of this.

Seroquel is an anti psychotic with very sedative qualities. If Paxil made you feel fine Seroquel is quite a leap. If the bi polar diagnoses came after the Paxil experience that may be the reason. I did not think Seroquel came in .25mgs are you sure? if so that is a very small dose, most start at 50 or I think 100 then cycle up to 300mgs. My md tried to put me on it and I refused. Seroquel is not the same as an ssri at all. I would get a second or third opinion.

Been on about 3 months nownever had any problems with dizzy or clumsy ( no moe than normal) But the vision thing has been gradually getting worse, i just wrote it off to getting older, think i'llcheck with Doc now let yu know soon as i find out

I came off xanax and switched for Ativan. I was also taking Paxil. Then I was put on Klonopin with the ativan and trazodone for the sleeping problems. For me it worked very well. I came off the ativan and am now on Trazodone, Klonopin, Paxil and Inderal. Now I use to fall asleep within ten minutes of taking them. Then it didnt seem to work as well at all.

There are a lot of drugs listed, but a common kind people use to help them fall asleep are the antianxiety drugs like Xanax, Ativan, Klonopin. Could they be added? And/or just an Other, because some people take medications like the antipsychotic Seroquel for inducing sleep when a person has a mood disorder.

Ok, i am convinced not to take the seroquel now after reading about it on this site. I came up with my own recipe for tonite. We'll see how it works. Here is the recipe: 1000mg Glutamine, 1000mg Magnesium, 10mg of melatonin(going to get better stuff/ sublingual from GNC tomorrow), 2 tabs of Benadryl and a bath with some lavender "frew frew" stuff that my wife bought me. Whatever it takes. The samples of seroquel my doc gave me are going in the trash and so is the script.
