Avatar m tn Me off Wellbutrin stinks...me on Wellbutrin...perfect therefore I take it and seizure risk is far from my mind. Not something I worry about at all. So will you be better on the meds or off? Right now I'm thinking that you should give it a try. And don't Google stuff...it is just going to cause more problems.
1937063 tn?1324239589 hi i ran out of medication a week ago and since then i've been feeling amazing. like better than i've felt a LONG time. idk why this is. i was on wellbutrin 300mg and seroquel 150mg for my depression. the only negative affect i've had was less sleep but that's because the seroquel made my sleepy and i got too used to it. i don't know if this is a good thing or not because i'm afraid of having a relapse.
520191 tn?1355635402 Hey just wondering if anyone with bipolar has been on this (Wellbutrin), alone or with a mood stabilizer? did it help what was your experiences with it? I am thinking of going on it.
Avatar m tn In my case Seroquel did not cause any erectile dysfunction but Zoloft did as well as Wellbutrin. Good Luck and let us know how it goes.

5544493 tn?1369608788 ve tried Abilify at age 12, not supposed to use it under age 18; so it did not exactly work right. Seroquel? Abilify again? Lamotrigine? Carbamazepine? Others or generics of any of them?
Avatar m tn Hi this is typically me it's difficult to say whether you are bipolar or not. Pdocs without exception tell you if you get manic/hypomanic even ONCE then you are bipolar. Whether this is true or not, nobody knows. There is a person though Akiskal (psychiatrist, google him) he classifies this as BP III or cyclothemia (mild BP) that is antidepressant induced mania.
Avatar f tn prescribed Wellbutrin to help me taper. I never went off them, but does anyone know if this heps with Vicodin withdrawal? I aso suffer from depression and Wellbutrin is supposed to help with that also. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.
Avatar f tn I recently went though a deep depression and had to be hospilized. That is where I got started on wellbutrin. I know Seroquel will zombie you, it does everyone. Also, did you know that 60% of bipolars have migraine? I take magnesium 250mg twice a day, morning and night. It helps out a lot. You can get it at any drug store or walmart. I only have an occasional migraine now, comparied to three times a week!
Avatar f tn I never tried wellbutrin though they say very suitable for bp. i tried on the other hand paxil/seoxat and it sent me over the roof right away. in fact it says in the brochure that seroxat is bad for bipolars driving them manic. of course all AD's do that except that it's underlined in its pamphlet. I tell you something i tried cipralex/lexapro is better than paxil for me. I read that wellbutrin can drive people manic though some asserted that it's the least which does that.
Avatar f tn m reading is right and you had sexual dysfunction while on no medication at all, as you seem to indicate, that kind of alters the Wellbutrin question. Wellbutrin is a very stimulating antidepressant, and for that reason has fewer weight gain issues and sexual dysfunction issues than other meds.
1203197 tn?1265555829 that is why I am taking trazadone to get me off the seroquel. I no longer take the seroquel. my appetite is out of control and I am getting up in the middle of the night eating sometimes with no recoloection that I did so. my biggest concern is that I do not get the benefit of taking cymbalta because what I take at night (trazadone) saps my strength energy and focus through out the day.
Avatar n tn Like James, I like Seroquel and Lithium. Seroquel was awesome for helping me sleep and I only take a low dose now (200mg). I added Lamictal for a post-manic depression, and it worked okay, not great. But I have been stable for three years being on these three. I haven't been hospitalized and I've been able to work. This summer I added Prozac to help a depression after my dad's death (last year). I haven't had any severe side effects from these.
1926604 tn?1322961405 i am loosing weight. i am cold all the time. i was thinking about mentioning wellbutrin to my doctor. Any advice?
Avatar n tn Usually if you have panic attacks, and are irritable, have OCD and are depressed, an SSRI would be better than Wellbutrin (Wellbutrin can make panic attacks, irritability, anger and OCD even worse). I am convinced I have a dopamine problem, which is why I didn't even CONSIDER an ssri. I went right for wellbutrin since it works on dopamine. Well...
Avatar m tn Seroquel and Lithium have been a life savers. I'm a mixed state, rapid cycler - so finding stability isn't the easiest. My diagnosis is the hardest to control, yet for the most part just a little tweaking of my meds depending on where I am at seems to work. I was hypomanic for months, I had my Seroquel upped in the morning and my wellbutrin dropped, it made a huge difference.
1388999 tn?1370042814 Seroquel would not be my first choice to use it's off-label use of antidepressant. Seroquel is a antipsychotic and is very sedative. Please note that I don't now your friend and his medical history and if the treatment is really for depression or something else with depression like bi-polar, in the case the patient is bi-polar it is true that Seroquel is a wiser choice.
1912569 tn?1485015929 quetiapine 25mg night, lamotrigine 100mg night, wellbutrin 150mg twice a day. And inderal 10mg as needed for anxiety. Lamotrigine gave me a rash, wellbutrin (generic version) made me irritable and snippy at everything. The seroquel (generic version) has been wonderful, although it makes me hungry but since I take it at night I try not to stay awake with it. Inderal (propranolol) gave me apathy so I am taking less.
497950 tn?1255863927 What is the major difference in the way you feel now after several years - vs - before? I guess what I am asking is - is it a long term stablization? I feel so much better - I am afraid it won't last.
