seroquel urination

I am a 39 y/o woman. Medications I take daily include Topamax, Potassium, Seroquel, Claratin, Hydroxazine, and Solodin. A few weeks ago I had a very painful menstrual period, followed by occasional pelvic pain upon urination and a brownish yellow sediment in my urine. The pain radiated up into my flanks upon urination. I went to my doctor who did a urine dip which was completely normal.He decided to treat me for a UTI based upon my symptoms and gave me a 3 day course of Macrobid.

she called her phychiatrist and he tolld her to stop the seroquel...her husband told me today that they ..ct-ed it, as ordered and she was at 600 mg and she weighs 99 lbs right now and is 5'6....during this 3 weeks she has been thru 5 ect txs but the last one was 9 days ago...her memory was bad before but now it is virtually gone as far as what happened yesterday...now she is flat in affect..like no expression....she doesnt pick up her feet when she walks so she falls down alot..

This is why they tell you to talk to your doctor if you develop any sign of this such as increased thirst or urination, excessive hunger, or weakness. More crucial if you are already diabetic you should regularly check your blood sugar levels. In fact most AP's do the same, seroquel another example So my view is that perhaps since you stopped it, you get what is called a reverse action like hypoglycemia in which case you get headaches of course.

Seroquel has now worked for 3 nights of sleep. I take clonazapam and lamtrogine. What could I add as decrease 1 of these? Is tegretol a good choice? Long ago I took lithium, but ballooned up in weight. Suggestions to discuss w/my doctor?

Does it really work? Because I have been given 10mg Diazepam and it hasn't helped that much with W/D's or stop the attacks. I have posted about this before and someone suggested that if I can't get Clonidine I should try to get Seroquel. I can't get into much detail on here, but I really need anyone who has taken Seroquel to PLEASE, post about how it made them feel, if it helped with W/D's? Did it let you fall asleep?

I take 200 mg of seroquel to help me sleep if i cut it in half will it still help me fall asleep!! I only have 12 days left of seroquel and i can't see the doctor until the 8th of next month so i'm freaking out about not being able to sleep!! Please help!!

I ran across something on the net about Seroquel. It was another forum that I got the info about Seroquel. On this forum someone was talking about there being a tort action lawsuit against the makers of Seroquel. That it is causing excessive weight gain, diabetes, very high blood pressure in people taking this antipsychotic. I am wanting to know further about these complications caused by Seroquel. My 28 year old son has been on this med for approximately 4 years now.

I just started Seroquel. The first tab last night. I felt so trippy. It scared me and I made myself go to sleep just to avoid the experience I was having. I also heard it causes crazy weight gain. Is that true? Right now I feel nausea.

Hi my name is Mike and my wife is now currently in the hospital from overdose of seroquel and maybe other medications that she might have.

My sub doc gave me Seroquel. He said it was for bi-polar, but he gave it to me at 50mgs. for sleep and it really helped me sleep, just a bite out of one at night. He also said that it would linger or last through the day to help with the anxiety/depression. I don't think that has worked as I'm still a basket case. jk...

If Seroquel is being prescribed as a sleep aid yes, within a psychiatrist's discretion. If its being used as a mood stabilizer then it would have to be taken every day though the timing could vary. If someone can't tolerate it at all as regards any sedation then other available options could be discussed with a psychiatrist.

My doctor has recommended Seroquel for my insomnia. Since i am a parkinsons patient, I was wondering if this ,might make my parkinsons worse?

the doctor put my husband on seroquel for anxiety. i was on them last year from my psychiatrist for sleep. of course i can't gauge how they worked because i was just adding them to the stew as it were. his are extended release. mine were not. the doctor gave him samples to last 1 month. he seems to be doing well on them, but i know my husband. these are going to be expensive even with insurance.

hi everyone, was just wondering if you guys have had any trouble with Seroquel? I am being put on it for sleep, and I have read up on it, and the side effects are kinda scarey. Does anyone have any input? My Dr. is putting me on a very tiny dose to start, as I reacted to Nortriptyline and have been on nothing for sleep for 3 days now. Can anyone give me some help please??

Iam on seroquel and Iam coming off of it and iam on 400mg and once i take it iam out like a light and i canlt hear anything for the night and iam having a trouble waking up in the morning and iam feeling not to good my doctor is lowering them doese by doese but there has been times i havent been taking them at all and then i take them and when i do i feel really bad after that and i need get off of them because they have made me gain wieght and iam getting more sleep then i should be have been o

i have recently got off seroquel for anxiety and i have been off of it for 4 days now and i am itchy, i am having depressed phases, i am very nauseous when does this go away before the 50mgxr i was on 100mg that was 2 weeks ago should i take another pill or just stop like i have been doing?

I believe all atypical antipsychotics are FDA approved as mood stabilizers. However, Seroquel I believe is more effective than some others but only a psychiatrist could explain for sure. The three newest antipsychotics, Abilify, Fanapt and Saphris are the least likely to cause weight gain and sedation though they can be activating. Seroquel can cause tachycardia which is a speeded up heart beat. I had that from it. That's generally not of concern.

I would want to know from the members of this forum about how many people are using Seroquel only as a sleeping aid in doses of 25 mg and 50 mg.All suggestions and answers are welcome.

will seroquel effect women sexually? i have searched the internet with no luck. i would be interested to hear other side effects as well. also, if anyone would like to tell me their experiences (both good and bad) with the drug i would really appreciate it. thanks in advance.

I had problems sleeping and my pdoc put me on ambien, then lunesta then to valium which none worked so now he put me on 50mg of seroquel this made me sleep and then some. I am feeling like I am drugged and scared to take the next dose and scared not to as well. My pdoc is new to me and never gave an emergency number, he will not be back in his office till tuesday and also this coupled with my lexapro put me in a mixed state and feeling slighty suicidal this happens when I cycle rapidly.

Ok i've now been on seroquel for about 1 month started at 50mg went to and 100mg and now i'm at 125mg i don't really notice anything different then when i was taking 50mg. my pysch prescribed it severe insomnia and maybe bipolar i've been seeing him for almost 3 1/2 months and still no real diagnosis. Also i take clonazepam and things are still the same. I just lost, confused and tired. Just wanted to if anyone ever experience the same thing while taking these meds?

So i am day 10 of being sober off of a 6 year vicodin habit of 40 tabs of 750mg a day and cant get more than 3 hours of sleep a night. I just got a script from my doc for Seroquel and he says it will help with my sleep and anxiety. But he says it will be about 3-4 days of feeling pretty poor. I am feeling better every day and the last thing i want to do is go through 4 days of feeling like c r a p. I have tried Lunesta, melatonin and benadryl with no luck.
