Thank you for the reply. My normal way to sleep is on the stomach or left side I never sleep on my back. I was on my back during heart by-pass surgery when they found the apnea episodes. I have 14 episodes an hour one point under moderate, I feel I don't really need the c-pap, I now have to sleep on back for comfort for my face,I spend most of the night trying to get comfortable on my stomach but can't!

I would question the fact that the pharmacist chose to ignore an expiration date, I don't think they just pull expiration dates out of the air,thet are there for a reason, it is not legal to sell a medication beyond an expiration date, I don't know why you would be advised to ingest one and have it be effective? He may be confusing a synthetic with a desicated medication, it could be synthetics have a longer shel life, but I would not use any that are expired, even over the counter meds.

So I just noticed that my last two packs of pills have the expiration date of 7/2009. Im supposed to start one of the packs this sunday, and that means I will be taking 4 days of expired pills (the first four days of July). Will this be risky? If pdoc prefers to use AP's only then i recommend abilify+seroquel both are newer drugs than olanzapine (zyprexa) abilify is activating very good for depression like lamictal not sedating the only drawback is a bit of anxiety which seroquel can take care of, also the latter is a strong antimanic but also will NOT worsen depression like the rest of the typical AP's say.

I was put on 100mg on seroquel but it was reduced overtime because it was causing me to sleep too much, uncontrollably. I now take 25mg at night. But it still takes around 3 hours after I take it before I fall asleep. Well the other day my new doctor put me on 10mg of Zolpidem to take at night with the seroquel....and I haven't yet. I am scared. I have read a lot of reviews about what it does and I dont think its worth it.
