Luckily for you, the overdose amount for seroquel is much higher than you took. I would suggest that you contact your doctor. He won't be happy with you taking more than prescribed but may increase your amount or try something else.

This dose is working for me and is not an overdose. My moods have been BAD BAD BAD as of late, so in addition to the seroquel being increased, so has my lithium.

Hi I posted on here before and got great answers so I'm back again. I've had ADHD since 14 but only took meds for a few year before I decided to try things on my own. Now at 26 I'm working full time, going school and being a single parent. Needing help to focus and with depression I went to see a pyschologist( I have medi-cal so theres only one available) He put me on 10mg Adderall three times a day ( he said 4 but I made the decision to only do three).

Just added seroquel at 25 mg and ritalin in the afternoons. I was perscribed albuterol sulfate, ibuprofen 600 mg and zomig nasal as needed. Cold spells arent new and randomly come and go, normally lasting several hours and spreading along right side from face down. Feet and hands are normally cold, sometimes blotchy purple. Two weeks ago I had a clean MRI without contrast. I do not drink, use drugs or smoke. My appetite has been haywire lately and over a week I lost 16 pounds.

s still out as to whether it was caused by just the alcohol/benzo withdrawal, overdose quantities of seroquel, or the seroquel simply didn't allow my brain chemistry to re-normalize on its own, and it was brought on by physical activity after being down for a week. seroquel is an antipsychotic not a sedative, and it can be contraindicated in some individuals.

Hmmm... Has she said why you're a big risk for OD on mood stabilizers? Is it something to do with your metabolism or she thinks you're suicidal? As it is, it depends on the person. If you've been on them before and didn't find them helpful, it's possible it doesn't work for you. However, if you ended them before they had a chance to get to a therapeutic level, it could be a dosage issue. Only you know how they affected you.

What does this say about how good WellbutrinXL is for me? I felt the same way taking 900 mg as I did taking 450 mg. I did call my doctor who told me to take 150 mg today and resume the 450mg (my regular dose) tomorrow. Any thoughts? Thank you.

I still feel the electric shocks and muscle aches from the withdrawal of my previous antidepressant (paroxetine) and I started getting a pounding heartfrom the seroquel. I went to see my gp who reduced my seroquel to seroquel xl 50 mg and I am to go back in a week to her, while I do not see the psychiatrist again for 5 weeks. My palpitations have stopped but the mood swings and depression have returned to just how they were before I reduced the dose. I do not know what to do..

Dear Ronndy I would say that 100 mg Seroquel is a very high dosage to treat insomina. Usually you would take only 10-25 mg in that respect. It seems that you could have some withdrawl problems as you stopped klonopin abruptly. As Paxiled pointed out it is a bit "heavy" to prescribe klonopin for insomnia when "lighter" medications are available, for instance zolpidem or zopiklone. Or anti-histamine(allergy-medication as atarax).

I went from 1200 mg down to 600 mg slowly with the help and supervision of my doctor. I went down by 50 mg per week until my current dose of 600 mg's. In the next few months i will be completely off this medication. The thing is my psychiatrist has never taken seroquel herself so how can she tell me based on personal experience what life would be like after this medication is no longer used.

how much seroquel, xanax, and alcohol causes an overdose. im qworried about my sister, she ha been prescribed xanax for 8 years now at 2mg a day, so her tolerance is well established. she is also an alcoholic. thankfully, she knows not to combine xanax while drinking, but what about the addition of seroquel? could she OD from the pill combination alone? would then the addition of alcohol just pretty much seal her fate?

I am on 200mg Seroquel in the morn, 100 mg Seroquel at noon, and 300 mg at night. I also take 20 mg of Abilify, and 30mg of Cipralex (anti-depressant). I went off Seroquel and tried Abilify and one other (cant remember) but they did not work. I am now backon Seroquel 300 miligrams along with my Lithium and Pexeva.

I am now at 600 mg. Over long periods of time u will get immune to lower doses. I take seroquel xr which is extended release where u take it at night and the benefits last all day. Not just at night. U won't be sleepy all day, just at night when u first take it. I have taken it for long term because it helps a lot. But you will need to have blood work Avery three to six months while taking it because it can cause sugar problems. I have yet to have that problem though.

Hello, I am taking clomipramine 200mg, Clonazepam 0.5 mg morning and 1.0 mg at night, and seroquel 450mg. After the addition of seroquel I started having classical music in my head that I could hear when I was hospitalized I asked several people if they heard what I did and they did not. However when I came home from the hospital I didn't have anymore auditory hallucinations. Seroquel helped me a lot with my ocd and gave me a lot of functioning ability.
