So I went back to my doctor and she suggested Seroquel 25 mg, once per day. The first night I took it, I was out of it and fell asleep immediately. The next day I was groggy at times, but I managed to hit the gym for a workout. The next night I took it, which was last night, I felt a little tired, but the next day (today), I don't *feel* the medication. Does it take time for Seroquel to build up in the system before I can get the full benefit of it?

Mostly towards the evening time because they both seem to help when I'm able to use them but I don't want them to be my solution forever as they're not a proper solution I don't think, right? I don't know. I was doing well for 2 or 3 years on seroquel 100 mg and celexa 40 mg or 60 mg I can't remember, with my current dose of Ativan as needed.

hi am 39 yr old female i have been smoking for about 20 yes now but like one pk a day , i been dating my female partner that does not smoke but she told me this last time we was together and we kiss she could taste the nicotine and it made her throat to close up , but i would stop smoking like 3 hours before we meet ever time . can nicotine make your throat close up from the taste of it? and how long if i stop smoking for her does nicotine stays in your system?

I've been on seroquel 500mg for 3 years now. Over those years ive gained a lot of weight and ive been constipated the entire time despite trying numerous laxatives. Anyway, the seroquel was originally prescribed for sleep. My body keeps getting immune to the seroquel and my psych keeps increasing it. I'm at the point where I am not sleeping at all, 5/6 nights a week! The last time i tried to taper off seroquel, omg the insomnia!

Seroquel has now worked for 3 nights of sleep. I take clonazapam and lamtrogine. What could I add as decrease 1 of these? Is tegretol a good choice? Long ago I took lithium, but ballooned up in weight. Suggestions to discuss w/my doctor?

Does it really work? Because I have been given 10mg Diazepam and it hasn't helped that much with W/D's or stop the attacks. I take 200 mg of seroquel to help me sleep if i cut it in half will it still help me fall asleep!! I only have 12 days left of seroquel and i can't see the doctor until the 8th of next month so i'm freaking out about not being able to sleep!! Please help!!

I ran across something on the net about Seroquel. It was another forum that I got the info about Seroquel. On this forum someone was talking about there being a tort action lawsuit against the makers of Seroquel. That it is causing excessive weight gain, diabetes, very high blood pressure in people taking this antipsychotic. I am wanting to know further about these complications caused by Seroquel. My 28 year old son has been on this med for approximately 4 years now.

I just started Seroquel. The first tab last night. I felt so trippy. It scared me and I made myself go to sleep just to avoid the experience I was having. I also heard it causes crazy weight gain. Is that true? Right now I feel nausea.

Hi my name is Mike and my wife is now currently in the hospital from overdose of seroquel and maybe other medications that she might have.

My sub doc gave me Seroquel. He said it was for bi-polar, but he gave it to me at 50mgs. for sleep and it really helped me sleep, just a bite out of one at night. He also said that it would linger or last through the day to help with the anxiety/depression. I don't think that has worked as I'm still a basket case. jk...
