I have been on Seroquel 600mg and Effexor 300mg. I too am having nerve problems with my ulner nerve, numb, tingling along the inside of my left arm along with the pinky, ring finger and side of my palm. In addition to that, my inside left calf, ball of my foot and big toe are the same. The big problem is that I have an undiagnosed eye pain that is preventing me keeping my eyes open for too long at a time. I hope you find a solution to your problems.
I would never take it even though I have OCD as well. Seroquel can cause long term neurological damage such as tardive dyskinesia. That to me would far outweigh any short term benefit. I think there are safer alternatives for sleep troubles and cognitive behavioral therapy can help you get your obsessions under control.
There appear to be warnings about liver damage with Seroquel in combination with alcohol. The full information would be available on the medication website. It would be essential to discuss all this wth your psychiatrist as to potential health effects. Also drinkng can make many medications less effective. It would be worthwhile to discuss this with your psychiatrist as well.
You know you have not caused any permanent damage. It is often difficult to get back into a normal sleep cycle. You should get a doctor's visit and see if your doctor can prescribe something more to get you started. Oftentimes you only need three to four a good night's sleep in order to restore the cycle. Perhaps in your attempt to treat yourself you do not give yourself sufficient dose of Ambien or other longer acting sedatives. Your doctor should be able to help you.
Knowing that milk is the universal antidote, I am doing that as a precaution. Kidney damage could result, as well as a number of other effects of the lithium, so I am drinking lots of water, experiencing some rush of urine about every 3 days, which is not good. I am hoping for more answers from the psych soon, and will report those as I get them.
i cant take a thyroid pill my whole life and the bad thing is the doctor knew the thyroid was starting and he thinks im doing so well so he kept me on it but i was young my parents handled everything so is there a change my thyroid can get better and i believe i should of never been on this i ask him why he kept me on it he said because of you moods does any one believe moods are a bigger problem then thyroid well i dont i could of been on anything else besides lithium and i hate me my life b
From the posts I read it seems that many were taking above the max dose 4000 mg of acetaminfen daily. Irreversable liver/kidney damage has always been a big concern to me which is why I never exceed the 4000 mg a day. I just had blood drawn yesterday & will nervously await the results. If they tell me my enzymes are higher it will be easier to quit. I think. Have any of you had any damage to liver/kidney damage as a result of your vicodin use?

The only way to truly ease your mind is by being totally honest with him/her. I have liver damage and kidney damage due to drugs stage 2 liver stage 3 kidney.. if your liver were damaged and you had a flare your belly would be extended/pain upper right you would be lethargic/vomiting.. other symptoms but these being severe.. It is not fun and I would not wish it on anyone.. I contracted hep C from slamming and further continued the damage through pills/alcohol..

Does it really work? Because I have been given 10mg Diazepam and it hasn't helped that much with W/D's or stop the attacks. I have posted about this before and someone suggested that if I can't get Clonidine I should try to get Seroquel. I can't get into much detail on here, but I really need anyone who has taken Seroquel to PLEASE, post about how it made them feel, if it helped with W/D's? Did it let you fall asleep?
Why are the withdrawal symptoms of seroquel the same as the withdrawal symptoms of heroin? I know that you shouldn't just stop taking it and I understand that it is a non-narcotic medication, but I still would like to know why the symptoms are the same? I am currently taking seroquel for anxiety.
While i may have bloating, tummy pains and rumbling of gas moving in my intestines etc, i have also been diagnosed with high protein in the urine, doctors say is caused by damage to the kidney, letting more albumin out than usual. They attribute this damage to the high blood pressure i am suffering. My question is: could the increased gas pressure from aerophagia enter the kidney and cause this physical internal damage, and/or augment the increased BP.
