seroquel and wellbutrin together

After taking Wellbutrin 150mg 2x daily and my Zoloft 100mg together fro the first time I woke disoriented and dizzy Just was wondering if I should of started the wellbutrin one a day to get used to it.

i am currently taking 150mg of seroquel xr and 75mg of wellbutrin 3x daily. im taking seroquel xr for bipolar but i seem to have anxiety now. socail anxiety.. could i be miss diagnosed? should i stop taking the wellbutrin for depression and increase my dosage of seroquel xr to 300-400mg?

Now the seroquel, Iv had patients take that medicine and quite a few of them cannot handle it because it makes them go into a zombie,- like trance. The wellbutrin, its mainly for depression, but is also used to gain back sex drive which is lost due to other depression medications, it also can give person a boost of energy. I would recommend calling his psychiatrist and maybe have a consultation regarding the seroquel. As soon as you can.

Me off Wellbutrin stinks...me on Wellbutrin...perfect therefore I take it and seizure risk is far from my mind. Not something I worry about at all. So will you be better on the meds or off? Right now I'm thinking that you should give it a try. And don't Google stuff...it is just going to cause more problems.

I'm on Cipralex 15mg for anxiety and depression and Seroquel 20mg at night for insomnia. I've been on remeron/mirtazapine before and had no sexual disfunction issues, however I haven't had the interest in sex/intimacy or ability to orgasm since a month prior to getting on the meds. I just started taking Wellbutrin XL 150mg because I'm told it should help with the sexual disfunction. How long until I notice a difference? Do you think I'm on too many medications?

I am on that combination and it works great. I was taking Lexapro 20 mg with Wellbutrin and was fine. How long have you been on Lexapro? My doc started me out slow with a week of 5 mg then 10 mg and so on. I know jumping into 20 mg for me was exhausting. Best of luck.

Lithium and Seroquel together have made the best I have ever been, found risperdal wasn't good for me it gave me bad insomnia. Seroquel is the opposite and makes me sleep but i like that as i think sleep is good for your health rather than insomnia. I am still looking for that pill which makes me back to normal though. I would ask your doctor why he don't want you on seroquel and tell him/her that it has really helped you.

hi i ran out of medication a week ago and since then i've been feeling amazing. like better than i've felt a LONG time. idk why this is. i was on wellbutrin 300mg and seroquel 150mg for my depression. the only negative affect i've had was less sleep but that's because the seroquel made my sleepy and i got too used to it. i don't know if this is a good thing or not because i'm afraid of having a relapse.

Wellbutrin was the first med that I was put on....and it didn't work at all for me. That doesn't mean it won't work for you. I had issues with it not helping me at all or making me feel like I had no emotions. You can always try it and see if it helps, no two meds work the same.

I've been smoking marijuana for about 5 years. I've been diagnosed bipolar for about 2 years. I recently had a really bad reaction to pot. REALLY bad. I almost killed myself, screamed at my friends, and vomited for 2 days. No one else that smoked it had a bad reaction. I haven't had a medication change recently. I'm on lamictal, seroquel, wellbutrin, cymbalta, and adderall. I don't know what happened. It wasn't laced or else everyone would have gotten sick.

m worried that the combination of Cymbalta and Wellbutrin can cause this. Is the combintation of Cymbalta and Wellbutrin safe? Thanks very much!

In my case Seroquel did not cause any erectile dysfunction but Zoloft did as well as Wellbutrin. Good Luck and let us know how it goes.

I sometimes have to wait a day or two for answers, but the folks here are just as supportive as I am and always give their insight so I exercise patience, because I know I can trust them to give excellent advice and insight. Now then. I happen to be allergic to Seroquel. I was started on 25 mg. and I could not move and went numb. I had to try it for a few days and it really messed me up. I will never touch it again! For some reason all atypical's cause bad reactions in my body.

Hi this is typically me it's difficult to say whether you are bipolar or not. Pdocs without exception tell you if you get manic/hypomanic even ONCE then you are bipolar. Whether this is true or not, nobody knows. There is a person though Akiskal (psychiatrist, google him) he classifies this as BP III or cyclothemia (mild BP) that is antidepressant induced mania.

I never went off them, but does anyone know if this heps with Vicodin withdrawal? I aso suffer from depression and Wellbutrin is supposed to help with that also. Any thoughts would be greatly appreciated.

I switched to Effexor XR about a year ago because Zoloft was not doing enough for my depression. I was and still am taking Wellbutrin XL to combat the sexual side effects. Shortly after I started Effexor my doctor also put me on Seroquel. So I have been on these 3 drugs for the past year. Last month my doctor suggested I up my dosage of Effexor from 150mg to 225 mg.

I did okay on Paxil as far as mania but when the doctor tried to combine Effexor and celexa I had a episode and once dosage was decreased and over a few weeks I was able to handle it, Thank God! I did take Wellbutrin and was so angry, mean and aggressive...bad stuff for me..
