Then marriage, children and a full time job happened and stress took over. I have been put on many antidepressants like prozac, wellbutrin, effexor, fetzima etc. A migraine last year made me have seizures for the first time in my life and a neurologist put me on topomax to control the migraines. It made me feel funny so i never took it and decided to live with the migraines. This August my father passed away and i went in a deep depression.

I was on a low dose. It made me shake and my eye twitch, so I dropped it and went back to the Wellbutrin/Prozac combo. Eventually that combination caused anxiety, so now I'm down to just the Wellbutrin.

all drs love to push pills and you are on a new type of ssri med with cymbalta and the old prozac pills back in the olden days and i dont hear good things about the tricyclics. can cause eventaully strokes and other negative pills side effects. why are you on 2 anti depression meds. take one or the other. you need to be open and tell dr what you want not what he wants. trust me!!

Hello, I would like to know if it is safe to fly and be taking medical treatment for a year with Seroquel 300 and Fluoxetine (Prozac). I have to take a plane in a few days and let me know if it is safe to take this treatment ((people taking Seroquel and flew by plane more than 6 hours) I would also like to know the flight experiences in other patients taking Seroquel. My wife is 68 and has m.s. she takes prozac,lorazepam for nerves and sleeping,seroquel for major mood swings and now aricept. Is this to much medicine to take together.

This dose is working for me and is not an overdose. My moods have been BAD BAD BAD as of late, so in addition to the seroquel being increased, so has my lithium.

I have been taking a number of medications since I turned 21 in 2008, the first being Prozac, Adderall, and Seroquel. I was only prescribed Seroquel for as long as my doctor wanted to "observe possible Bipolar symptoms".... after about 3 months he took me off Seroquel. After years of continued difficulty with bouts of depression, anger/irritability, sleep, I saw a new doctor in 2015 who prescribed Abilify 5mg along with Adderall.

My most recent drug combinations are (1) 30mg Remeron/Mirtazapine, (2) 150mg Quetiapine/Seroquel, (3) 500mg Epilim/ Sodium Valporate everyday and (4) 10mg prozac every other day. This seems to work well, but I wonder what the long term consequences will be. Could you enlighten me?

My doctor is switching me to Seroquel XR off prozac. I'm worried bc i have to breastfeed as my daughter is allergic to formula. The site says do not breastfeed while taking it. He is saying go ahead but my pharmicist disagrees. Is anyone out there taking this and breastfeeding by any chance??!!!

and At the present time I am on Effexor xr 150mg, Prozac 40 mg as the Dr. was trying to wean me from 225 of the effexor xr and add the prozac. 1 mg of xanax 4 x’s a day, seroquel 150 mg at night. So this was my new medication line up after switching psych drs. after 10 years. need a new beginning. not feeling good. So this is what she added in. I am a homembody and fear the everyday so it was hard to get to some appts. what she was aware of in the beginning and after i missed 3 appt.

He is currently on seroquel, Prozac and Xanax along with trazadone at bedtime. These meds are all prescribed meds. Is he still undergoing withdrawal symptoms, is this PAWS?, or is something else going on. I've posted here before and you guys have been great. I really need your help again.

The trouble with the psychiatric industry today is there always going to give you a pill for what ails you. Before seroquel and prozac, psychatrists practiced in mainly mental institutions, and once these drugs were developed, their profession became more recognized in the medical community. From my experience, it becomes one big experiment to try us on different pills to see which one changes our mood the best! Felt like a guinea pig until I gave it all up.

I have BPD and Bipolar disorder and have been on Lithium, Trazadone, Tegretol, Prozac, Zoloft, Lamictal, Seroquel, Ambien, and Abilify. They seem to work but they still don't stop the cycles enough, I'll have more okay days but will have two or three depressed or manic, all within a week. That's not counting the anxiety attacks that make me dissociate.

Hi I use when needed clonazepam for irritability, I have Bipolar Disorder and I am on Lithium and Seroquel also, and Prozac when depressed, clonazepam when either low or high as an extra weapon to curb my snappy head. problem i find if used too regularly when depressed is it can make me worse.

t think rehab is an option and methadone or suboxone is not, I tried last year, but I take adivan and I need it for my anxiety and they said it would kill me if I took the 2 medications together. I WISH there was another detox pill!

I've been on allot of medications for bi-polar, including lithium (which gravely affected my stomache), but now I'm on lexapro, seroquel, and temazapan. The seroquel with the temazapan helps me to sleep well, and I don't go thru the tremendous effects of anxiety (expecially when you feel like you are losing your breath with no known reason to do so), but I have gained allot of weight, and I don't eat that much. I have read that seroquel is not all that good.

Hi this is typically me it's difficult to say whether you are bipolar or not. Pdocs without exception tell you if you get manic/hypomanic even ONCE then you are bipolar. Whether this is true or not, nobody knows. There is a person though Akiskal (psychiatrist, google him) he classifies this as BP III or cyclothemia (mild BP) that is antidepressant induced mania.
