I was prescribed Lorazepam for anxiety last Dec.-June. (2 mg a day for 4 of 6 mo.) I became addicted & could not taper off it myself so went to a detox center. They gave me phenobarbital since I reacted to the other benzos, plus Seroquel, Vistaril, & Trazadone. The detox was for 10 days and it was almost 3 months ago. I have been experiencing muscle twitching the past few weeks all over my body & some eye blinking.
One night, I accidentally, took 2mg of Lorazepam and it worked great until Dec 1, 2010. I was put back on 100mg of Seroquel and it did not work at all. I took it for four days and quit. Next was Ambien CR, the 12.5mg dose allowed me to sleep for about 2 hours, a second dose would allow me to sleep for another hour. I even tried a third dosage without any success.
A new doctor prescribed 100 to 200mg Trazodone and 15mg Mirtazapine.
I've been on Zoloft just 1 week so far. Today, I started feeling a little better. I read it can take up to a month to work. I cut my dose of Lorazepam in half to see how I would feel and so far so good. I've been to counseling for years. I think the Lorazepam caught up to me as I'm not getting the benefits I used to out of it. Hopefully, the Zoloft alone will work eventually. Thanks for responding!
For example, in natural medicine the thing to add would be passionflower and hops or kava or something like that, which if they work will do what lorazepam does without the addiction problem. There would also be dietary and exercise and meditation changes involved, a whole body approach as opposed to a one remedy cures all approach.

I've got a few friends that take seroquil and it's been a medication where they couldn't function with the medication (including my sister and have had to change because she couldn't funtion the next day), so my question is this. The symptoms that you mentioned are not related to this disease. And also this could be a normal phenomenon, because when we tend to retain urine, it turns a bit dark yellow and might have odour.
Then when I began having anxiety issues and panic attacks 9 months ago, and was prescribed the Lorazepam which made me so ill and became addicted to it in 6 months time, that whole ordeal made my phobia worse. I don't want to take anything at all, and prior to 9 months ago, I took only one scrip for my interstital cystitis. My life has changed so drastically in the past 9 months and I would give anything to have it back to the way it was & to sleep again.
not at all, its a prescription, but it has saved me from the chills sweats and anxity, and it makes you sleep i went into the hospital with bad symptoms and they gave me some to try and said it is safe to use non addictive and can get it from a doctor, it is the only thing that has worked for me and this is the first time i had an aid to get clean i also picked up a bunch of vit's that supposedly help and im on day 4 and i think they are really helping but seriquil is a for sure way to help,
My first pregnancy i did bot use it and my daughter is very smart. I was wondering if any of you have used seroquel and delivered a healthy baby.
If there is no contraindication for taking depakote and lorazepam, they may tell you to go ahead and take your normal dose of lorazepam but to contact your doctor ASAP.

And either find a new doctor or let this one know that when it comes to medications, anytime they add something or change something......
The knowledge that I have is that xanax and Seroquel do not have an impact on your liver. Also 50 mgs of Seroqeul is very low dose. I am on 600. However it looks like you have hepatitis c and you probably know you shouldn't drink because of that. There are likely a lot of medications that effect your liver. The only ones I know of are Tylenol and pain medicines that contain acetaminophen, but I am sure there are likely a lot more.
Don't quit the Seroquel abruptly -- taper off it. It's interesting you were put on Seroquel and are suffering insomnia -- the only way Valdoxan supposedly works is by increasing the effectiveness of melatonin, which regulates sleep cycles -- in other words, if it works at all for depression, and the evidence appears to be soft, it's by improving sleep.
