Hi I m feeling earthquake from 2 yrs when Nepal earthquake I already had anxiety from 5 yrs .
By the 9th day I was rushed to the ER for extreme high blood pressure, pains in my chest, heart palpitations, panic attacks, and vomiting. I was admitted for 2 days, I thought I was going to die. The Dr. said that stopping a drug like Seroquel cold turkey was terribly dangerous and could have given me a heart attack. not saying that any of this is your case, I just don't wish this on anyone, so if you are having anymore issues tell your doctor.

I went for a second opinion yesterday and that dr said that my levels show that it is overactive. I also managed to get the results from pervious years and there seems to be a steady decline since 2008 ( when I had a TIA and they changed from the Eltroxin to Diotroxin) in the TSH levels. I started itching very badly on the eltroxin ( was the only medication I was taking at that time) and that is why they changed it.
24 hr tape showed no abnormality, some supraventricular ectopics(which i never felt), but was told thats normal. I have had palpitations on and off for years, but usually only related to stress/hormonal times in month, alcohol. They were a bit more frequent towards end of last year, hence the ECG.
Anyway, cardiologist has seen results, and ruled out any serious causes of short pr interval(I was terrifeid it was WPW at first, but he sees no sign of that).
I just finished a 5 day z pack that was prescribed for a sinus infection that was giving me severe headaches. My heart started to feel funny and I looked at the insert which said could cause irregular hearbeats. I've taken this medication in the past with no issue. I do not have any cardiac disease but I do smoke, should I just wait for about 5 days to see if once the meds are out of my system I'm ok, or should I go see a doctor or go to the ER?
I need some serious help here as I am having significant problems and the doctors don't seem to know what is wrong with me. I started taking Bystolic 5mg in early September of this year due to palpitations and an abnormally high resting heart rate. They can't find any cause with testing.

Hi. I also have had heart palpitations. I talked with the doctor and she said probably is nothing, but they are going to check the thyroid hormonea..they can increase during pregnancy and cause palpitations, but i even if it is the case she said not to worry, it is nothing complicated, maybe some supplements to get them under control. Ask your doctor, but don't worry. Good luck!
My son is 18 and started having heart palpitations and chills tonight. He also has a headache. He can't relax because this is bothering him so much. He does have a doctors appt tomorrow at 11:15am. Any suggestions to calm the palpitations?
I get heart palpitations from time to time with no concern and have been to the doctors within the past yr and have had my heart listened to. However last night i was talking my dogs for a walk up this steep hill and stopped because i got a heart palpitation, but also had this quick sharp pain in my heart, the pain only lasted for a second or two and the palpitations ended soon after. I felt fine afterwards but had much anxiety about the pain.
I have been having heart palpitations for about a year now and I'm 24 years old. I usually get the palpitations before and during my period and when I'm in stressful times. I am worried that in the future when I get pregnant this will affect me.
What I do notice is a huge increase in anxiety and my heart is racing. I usually run, and I can run without my heart feeling like its going to pop out of my chest. I have insomnia too. My dr. said its not listed as a side effect, so she's not sure what's going on.
Has anybody else had this happen? She gave me seroquel to help me sleep, but I'm afraid to take it because I'm afraid it will make me hungry.

Our adrenal system is closely related to our hormones, so if your adrenals are having issues, it will effect hormones and could in turn cause heart palpitations. Also, if progesterone is off, that could cause it. Additionally, low Magnesium, low Vitamin D, low B12, - all an cause heart palpitations.
Get a full panel done and see. Maybe it will be something as simple as a vitamin deficiency. Hope this helps... God Bless.
thank you for advice i do have stress but even when im relaxed watching tv i get this tingling all over my body its not always the same time as the flushing and palpitations i have been in hospital a few times on a drip to slow my heart rate down from 230 beats my heart dr is starting me on a new tablet next week and says i might have to have an operation its really scary i feel for everyone on here and wish everyone well take care.
My question to you is since this medication has only been in my system for only 12 days will my insomnia go away? The heart palpitations have already minimized and the Hallucinations are gone but I still get body movements and am going on my second day of no sleep. Was this dosage too high in the first place since he did not start me off on the recommended dosage of 20mg twice a day? will I be able to detox myself and have all of these symtoms go away?
