Avatar f tn she has 4 teeth at top and 4 teeth at bottom she also has 4 big teeth at back, she dribbles terrible and often gets sores on her face where she dribbles during her sleep. i have now got her a dentist appointment for Friday. when she smiles her bottom teeth completely cover her top teeth i think it may be a protruding lower jaw than her teeth not being straight. hopefully i can get some answers Friday thanks for reply!
Avatar n tn I always try to brush his teeth everynight even though he screams the house down, the only spot that gets a good brushing is just behind the two front teeth. Im thinking maybe he has sensitive skin and the brushing aggravated it to the point of bleeding?? I dont know of other children who scream so much when getting there teeth brushed, can some peoples gums be extra sensitive??
Avatar f tn Avoid all tooth pastes that contain silica or hydrated silica (strong abrasive, wears down dentin along the gum line which is the major cause for pain in sensitive teeth). You also have to work from the inside out, making sure to eat at least 50 % of your diet as organically grown RAW vegetables, favoring all leafy dark greens. Ubiquinol (the natural form of CoQ10) is also very important for gums as well as heart health.
Avatar f tn For years, I have suffered from sensitive teeth. The pain from cold objects literally drive me mad. One bad habit that I know is causing the sensitivity is my avid consumption of acidic drinks, which I am trying to give up. I have sought the services of a periodontist, who said that I have the beginning stages of periodontal disease.
Avatar f tn I noticed that my gums are a but sensitive. my gums are a lil bit peeled in one spot its just a tiny dot as if I scraped or brushed too hard. Any suggestions? What can I do to strengthen my teeth & gums?
Avatar f tn If they are back teeth and wisdom teeth will come in later in life anyways to fill up that spot. I was just wondering if that is an option. I didn't bring it up with the dentist yet.

Avatar n tn I have severe sensitive teeth - my teeth look fantastic under x ray but the outside of the teeth under the gums burns and stings all the time and sometimes electric shocks if I eat sugar or drink tea - I can't talk or eat properly - opening my mouth and air causes pain.

Avatar f tn I'm 30 weeks and have noticed my teeth becoming increasingly more sensitive. Anyone else have this happen? Does it go away after birth?
Avatar n tn Hello , im 20 years old and me and my husband are 15 weeks pregnant with our first baby and I was wondering if any of you ever had really sensitive teeth with your pregnancies? I've been bruching twice a day and using mouth wash once a day and flossing onece a day but just this week and especially since yesterday my bottom teeth have been so sensitive and they hurt even if I breathe through my mouth, drink water with no ice or anything too hot or cold. Is this normal?
Avatar f tn My teeth are very sensitive now and gums too. My mother and grandmother said to drink a lot of milk to get a lot of calcium because the baby ***** that right out of you along with everything else haha. My grandma even lost two back teeth because of being pregnant._.
Avatar f tn just curious if any one else flossed there kids teeth at 3 (besides making her happy and getting her use to it) cause her teeth hardly touch or have food stuck in them yet.
Avatar m tn The biotene products are helpful. The teeth seem to become very sensitive. But that can change as sx do on this triple therapy. Toward the end of my tx i ran out of my biotene toothpaste, and used regular; it burned the heck out of my mouth. Now I can use regular again, but I do like the gentle properties of the biotene. I have heard of thrush on this forum, so use advocates advice if you have those symptoms.
Avatar n tn I have recently been advised that I have a low b-12 count, and I have been grinding my teeth at night. My teeth are very sensitive right now. Are these things related, the b-12 count and the sensitive teeth? My teeth feel COLD all the time, but they do not ache like a cavity or tooth ache.
232921 tn?1224471661 I, too, have been suffering with sores in my mouth and very sensitive teeth since I started tx. Brushing my teeth burns my mouth, I hate it, and that is using sensodyne toothpaste. I have never had problems with my teeth before this. Anyway, as with many of the sx, during and after tx, here is hoping that they go away soon.
Avatar m tn Hello my name is chris,15 years of age and sometimes when i eat something very hot or cold my gum and teeth of one part of my mouth start to hurt and cause lots of pain. this pain occurs in the back right area of my mouth where my molars are at and I'm wondering what is this. Also I have blisters on mouth at that area could you tell me what it is also? or if they even related.
Avatar f tn Of the medications you listed, none of them cause teeth sensitivity nor do they cause dry eyes, however, tramadol and Neurontin can cause dry mouth. In regards to teeth sensitivity, over the years, enamel on the teeth can erode due to acidic items we eat or drink and sensitivity can occur all of a sudden. Refer to the American Dental Association on how this starts and what to do: http://ada.org/public/topics/sensitive.
Avatar f tn The dentist said we needed to put in a space maintainer and pull out her 4 canine teeth. So that when her other teeth start to fall out there will be space for them to come in. Since we put in the maint-fixed bilateral spacer the space where to canine teeth are suppose to be has almost closed. I have went and seen the dentist because the wire pushes on the bottom four front teeth which are all adult teeth. The bilateral spacer in on her first molars (not premolar).
Avatar f tn I recently had a new bridge put in. I had a temporary on the 2 front teeth that support this bridge. With no problem or pain or discomfort. Having the bridge installed the dentist told me we might need to adjust a few times to get the bite right. I called him this morning to tell him I was having some pain and discomfort. He told me to come down and checked the bridge , adjusted the bite a little and told me this was normal to be feeling this.
267401 tn?1251852496 Amazingly, her teeth were not broken or chipped, and the little piece of tissue connecting the gums to the lip was not broken. However, it was sufficient force to leave black marks from the asphalt in those two teeth and in the gums. We went straight to the ER, where to doctor took a look and found nothing broken or in need of immediate attention, other than to try to clean the area.
Avatar n tn I'm 17 weeks an every time I drink or in the wind my bottom teeth get sensitive an I don't have sensitive teeth :( did anyone else have this problem when they were the week I'm in today
