It seemed to start in 1988/9 with my last pregnancy.
I am on tx and decay is still happening along with teeth fractures(probably from so much ammalgam interfering with the nutritional flow to the enamel). Interferon can cause osteopenia, so it is possible my own interferon and now the artificial inf is not helping my teeth. Then you have depression from feeling ill, before and during tx, and hygiene can suffer some days also, but it can't explain the speed of decay. It is most troublesome.
My gums are sensative when I brush but my teeth don't hurt.
How well are you sleeping at night? Sometimes if you are not sleeping well or stressed you could be grinding your teeth at night.
That can make your teeth hurt and feel real sore.
This is usually most comment when higher-concentration bleach is used. For sensitiveteeth, some dentists recommend a toothpaste containing potassium nitrate.
* Gum irritation:
People who use peroxide whiteners may experience some degree of gum irritation resulting from the bleach concentration or from contact with the whitening trays. These irritations typically lasts for a few days, subsiding after bleaching has stopped or the peroxide concentration lowered.
Lost all my top teeth at 23, bottom at 35. teeth broke off, and had to have lots of dental work previous to that but it never lasted, my body rejected the root canals, so have worn denture for years. I do believe it was thyroid releated, sas I had taken excelent care of them and had alot o dental work.
-\ I know I have to go to the dentist, but my insurance doesn't cover it and the closest pregnant woman dentist free thing is 8 hours away. So I bought the expensive mouth wash and the pricey tooth paste. It doesn't hurt nor does it bother me, just looks ugly. Anyone else have this problem?
i also am taking 100 mg of zoloft and have xanax for the anxiety attacks which helps when the self soothing does not. but like for instance, today i have sensitiveteeth, just today they are randomly sore and automatically i am thinking it must be because i am pregnant :( i am also having alot of back paing and automatically i think its because i must be pregnant. i just wish i could really really force myself to know that i am not. i want to be free from this.
I haven't really struggled with acne since junior high. I had a little pregnancy acne with my first son during my first trimester, but it went away and my skin was gorgeous. I'm 9 weeks along in my second pregnancy and I am so embarrassed of my face right now. Not only did I recently get braces put on my teeth at age 25, but my face is breaking out and taking forever to clear up!
Amanda, I have a similar question. Am 3 days late but pregnancy test results are negative. Had cramping 3 days ago, feel exhausted, and am usually a very regular 28 day cycle. I've been pregnant four times before; each time the test showed it immediately. Read another post saying pregnancy hormones sometimes build up more slowly, or maybe ovulation came later this cycle. Any advice other than waiting to take another test?
