hello, can hiv be transmitted through the encounter of verginal fluids with sensitive skin. By sensitive i mean that no blood can be observed but the upper layer may have been ripped off so if salt is sprinkled it hurts but there are no signs of blood or a cut only the upper layer of skin may be ripped off. secondly if the fluids are completely dry or at best slightly sticky what difference does this make.
just started treatment 5 days ago (it already feels like forever). I have many symptoms, but the latest and greatest is my skin is so sensitive!! I have a rash on my torso, but it's not so much itchy as incredibly sensitive. Trying to dress for work everyday is awful, does anyone have any good tips on managing this?? Is everyone else working through their treatment?
Hi everyone. I have what I have chalked up to be just extremely sensitive skin, but only in certain areas. It started a couple of years ago when moisturizers I was using around my eyes and eyelids suddenly started causing a weird rash just under my eyebrows. It feels like it has been scratched and it itches and burns like crazy if I put anything on it. I started trying all different kinds of all natural, hypoallergenic, organic, etc types of moisturizers, all with the same affect.
My left foot started hurting about 3 days ago, as if i had pulled a muscle in the arch of my foot, and then yesterday my right thigh started hurting, the skin is sensitive to the touch, whenever my pants brush up against it or i touch or bump into anything it hurts, i dont have any discoloration in my thigh, no swelling, no bruising, no rash, but it hurts. When it first started hurting the area that hurt was about the size of an orange and now it covers most of the front part of my thigh.
It is strange because there is no rash, no bruising, no bumps like shingles (which I had at 28), it hurts to wear clothing, to be touched, lay in bed anything. I've read many possible answers.. I have not seen a Dr yet as typically, I do not get answers from them only bills. any suggestions would be welcome.
as the rash never blistered,....and I have had no other outbreaks. My skin (8 months now after the fact) looks much better,...but not as it did b4 this incident. I went to a dermatologist and he said "your penis looks healthy to me". However,.....a girl who sucked me off 4 months ago,..got a bad viral infection 2 days after. And recently,...a girl I had sex with appears to have just experienced what I did. I too am at a loss,...
Hello, It Can be due to neuralgia or even fibromyalgia can cause tactile allodynia( pain on touch). I suggest you to consult a physician and get it evaluated. Since there is no rash as such, a biopsy of the skin can help in diagnosis. It is very difficult to precisely confirm a diagnosis without examination and investigations and the answer is based on the medical information provided. For exact diagnosis, you are requested to consult your doctor. I sincerely hope that helps.
Hi, I'm a 21 year old male, with no known allergies to anything, and no history of skin rashes like this. About 4 days ago, I formed a red mark under both arms, both of which are almost perfect ovals, they are slightly raised but not bumpy, just itchy red round marks. At first I assumed it was a reaction to my deodorant, despite using the same brand for years, so I stopped applying it but it just got worse over the past 2 days.
old female with multiple medical problems - but- this 1 eludes me.At no particular time of year or any other stimuli to relate this to,I have extremely sensitive no rashes/bumps/bruises/etc.Generally starts around my rib area on both sides-then-progresses to skin on both arms/over hip area.Usually stays tender to light touch for 1-2 weeks-then-leaves as suddenly as it appeared-only to come back again every 2-4 months with same symptoms.
There is no rash, no redness, or anything else. The skin looks completely normal. It started in my left armpit, shortly after shaving, so I ignored it at first assuming it was razor burn. The area has spread now and covers the full armpit, and works its way into my arm, and around the back to my shoulder blade. It has also started on my left hip and the area there is getting larger as well.
it is like itchy but no rash. This is very irratating! I really do not know how to describe it, except as I have said very sensitive, electrical, ..... I also go thru these umbearable cold, hot sweats; at work I bring a couple changes of clothes and think this is brought on by my meds, anti-depressants and narcotic. how can a doctor help someone like me?
also, get an oil free cleanser and moisturizer that works for your sensitive skin (i'm still on the search for both!) brighter days will come!
He started with one wart on his knee, he now has multiple large warts on his knee and there is a very large circlular red rash that encompasses his entire knee. The skin on the inside of the circle is loosing color-very pale. The rash is red and raised and he said at night especially it itches and gets hot. Any ideas????
Thanks for your response. As to your questions: still no itching, no burning, no "hot to the touch". Live alone; only people I've been in close contact with in past 7 days (daughter-in-law, young granddaughters, & sister) don't have a rash. no to sexual contact, no to shaving/waxing/exfoliation. Have dealt with several bouts of yeast skin infections in the past; this is different.
Shingles will in time, present with a rash but it can be sensitive prior to the development of one. The first sign of the condition is a tingling or sensitivity of the skin in the affected area and than pain should follow. Pain may be perceived differently by everyone. The nerves supplying the chest and abdomen are commonly affected. The rash usually appears several days after the pain begins but it can take longer. Shingles affect only one side of the body. I would watch for a rash.
Hard to believe huh? The penis is the most sensitive area to be in contact with polyester. A mild allergy can show up only there. But usually you may have some tightness in your neck also. Maybe an occassional shoulder pain.
I have used this filter on my shower and never got the rash. I have extremely sensitive skin and used Lubriderm twice a day and the clorine filter and went the entire winter/spring/summer treating for Hep C. Hope this information helps.
I came on the internet to search more for this condition, because my husband just started to complain of the same symptoms; sunburn like sensitive skin but no rash or redness.
When these are very irritated there's a clear fluid around these rash patches. The skin is otherwise wrinkly and/or flaky in these areas. It does not scab on healing like herpes/trauma, but sometimes it's solitary and it's been recurring (though it's been pretty continuous, I've had no period since June without severe irritation.) The rash is sometimes on both sides of the penis and on the corresponding areas of the scrotum, the severe (red dot/raised wart) areas move intermittently.
Yeah I am using the cream twice a day I am supposed to use it for two weeks, this coming tuesday will be two weeks and it hasn't really gone away yet, good news is it hasn't spread yet or changed at all so I know it isn't anything other then a skin rash/fungal infection, but I think part of it might have to do with when I put my clothes on after I put the cream on the medicine rubs off, should I leave it on for a while before puting clothes on?
AT THE SAME TIME IVE HAD A rash OR SOME LIKE MISQUITO LOOKING BITES ON MY COLAR BONE THAT WILL noT GO AWAY AND REALLY ITCH EVERY DAY. IVE HAD REALLY DRY ICHY SKIN FOR LAST COUPLE OF YEARS BUT ONLY IN THE WINTER TIME,THIS rash OR WHATEVER HAS BEEN FOR 2 MONTHS.LAST BUT noT LEAST MY TOE NAILS MOSTLY ON MY RIGHT FOOT BUT SOMETIMES IT SWITCHES TO THE LEFT HURT LIKE SOMEONE IS SQUEEZING THEM,NERVE KIND OF PAIN .CAN ALL OF THIS BE RELATED.
However, on Monday I got up and under my arm the skin felt as if there was a rash on it (liken it to a rash from rough clothing against your skin) but there is nothing there! As the day progressed the pain progressed and by the time I went to bed last night the pain had grown to include the whole underarm area and also my shoulder blade area on my back. It felt as though the skin was on fire and yet there was no redness or anything.
Hi, This could indeed be be due to irritation, infection or other skin condition such as dermatitis. The skin of the glans is very sensitive and can be easily damaged, which may lead to infection. Irritation of the skin can be caused by the soap you are using, over-washing or scrubbing, chemicals in some condoms, spermicides, and lubricants, or some washing powders or fabric conditioners that are not completely rinsed from the underwear. Try to use mild soap and detergents.
I have a rash that only appears around my midsection. The skin has raised pimple like bumps that sometimes are almost like whiteheads. The whole area is very itchy. The rash comes and goes. I have been experiencing this for nearly a year. I thought it was an allergic reaction to the buttons/snaps of my pants and coated them with clear nail polish. Didn't work. I have tried antifungal creams, cortisone creams and collidal oatmeal. What else can I possibly try? What could it be.
I noticed the other day in the shower when i was washing the area around the anus was a little senstive. It looked to be red, no bumps or scaling. Red around the anus, maybe extending about 2 inches all around. My first thought was maybe the hydrocortisone. I started using it in March, not daily, but fairly often. I know it can thin the skin.
at first it burned alot but than it clam down so i thought it was fine. so that night i had sex with my girl friend with no rubber and it hurt it fell like my skin was being ripped. and when we were done my penis was swellin and had like little cuts around it. she and i both have bee tested and everything came back good.I HAVE BEEN PUTting some aveeno on it and vasaline and it goes away its only on the right side. but once i have sex it comes back.
