Avatar f tn Normally I don't have that bad of sensitive skin, but since the past few weeks I have noticed that when I take a shower and use my loofa sponge and coco butter body wash (which I have used for about a year now) I break out with a rash on my stomach. Also I took a bath tonight, just plain water, not hot of course and noticed that I broke out with a rash on my stomach AND my chest. What is going on? Is this normal?
Avatar m tn So when I rub my skin, either light or rough it gets red and bumps appear but go away within minutes. My dermatologist prescribed fexofenadine (Allegra) and that helps. My derm said that it was Ecsastencia (? not sure if i spelled that right or remember the exact name), but he was in a rush and just told me to take the prescription and that was it. I wanted a second opinion, but wanted to check here first to get some feedback. Other than that my skin looks perfectly normal unless touched..
613536 tn?1294238447 Lately I've been getting some small red bumps all over and they are itchy!! I am currently 18 weeks pregnant... Has anybody had this before?
Avatar f tn I have had a very light patchy rash on my chest for a few days. It is not always visible. In addition to this, I noticed a patch of small red bumps on each shoulder today, and my skin feels sensitive in general. I had a worry about an STI, but have been assured that these symptoms are not indicative of anything. I can't think of any foods/cosmetics/detergents that I have used recently that are new. Does anyone have any suggestions?
Avatar f tn I have itchy red bumps not clustered just randomly all over and they seem to be worse or act up most when I take a shower and after I get out they itch. And sometimes my skin will itch and once I itch it little bumps appear I've been to a few doctors and my obgyn and its not scabies or bug bites they said it's some type of dermatitis has anyone else experienced this??? The doctors don't seem to think it's harmful but I'm just scared I'm the only one.
8101930 tn?1420001456 Is it a rash or just maybe clogged pores resulting in pimples? Or is my skin just very sensitive to it? I am going to stop using it and see if it goes away. Anyone else deal with something like this?

Avatar n tn Hi, Groups of itchy or tender small red papules appear most often around the mouth, and sometimes around the eyes called periocular rash. The surrounding skin may be pink, and the skin surface often becomes dry and flaky. On the other hand, milia, are benign, keratin-filled cysts that can appear just under the epidermis or on the roof of the mouth. They are usually found around the nose and eyes. Can you elaborate more on the rash description? Are there other signs or symptoms present?
Avatar n tn Hello, I am a young female, and have recently discovered pairs of small, red bumps on my body. It started with two bumps on my chest (which i thought were pimples). It's been about a week or two, and they're not going away. I have now discovered two new pairs of bumps on the nape on my neck and on the back of my thigh. I had mistaken them for pimples. I have fair, sensitive skin, but I don't believe it to be an allergy because of the sporadic locations of the bumps.
Avatar n tn About 3 days ago I had protected sex for about 3 hours. This morning, in the shower, I noticed that around the base of my penis, on the side facing me and right at the line of my pubic hair there were many small red bumps. They don't look very big, somewhat like hair follicles, but there doesn't appear to be hair growing out of them. About 2/3 of the small red bumps are actually under my pubic hair, above the penis. If I were to guess I would say there are over 20.
Avatar n tn After sex I notice red bumps on the head of my penis. My girlfriend and I have sex about 2-3 times a day so they seem to be gone in the morning but I notice them later in the day. I have been tested and results are negative. I also notice my foreskin drying out a little(i am not circumcised). Is this from having sexual intercourse quite often or should I be worried?
4936507 tn?1365361667 Hi everyone. I have what I have chalked up to be just extremely sensitive skin, but only in certain areas. It started a couple of years ago when moisturizers I was using around my eyes and eyelids suddenly started causing a weird rash just under my eyebrows. It feels like it has been scratched and it itches and burns like crazy if I put anything on it. I started trying all different kinds of all natural, hypoallergenic, organic, etc types of moisturizers, all with the same affect.
Avatar m tn Within a few days the spots dissipated and the peeled skin area became less sensitive and returned to normal with dead skin flaking off. The whole episode lasted no more than a week or less. There did not appear to be any discharge, odd smell or anything. The spots/bumps did not appear to be filled with any fluid. The symptoms were located exclusively on the glans and the burning/sensitivity was present when having sex, while the sensitivity was there always.
Avatar f tn My skin peeled like a sunburn about a week later. I never turned red. My skin became sensitive and whelped in the bend of my elbows and under my arms. Now it just hurts and itches. What is the problem? I now use an umbrella when I am in the sun, but the sensitivity has remained.
Avatar n tn I have red bumps that appear then disappear on the penis head. The bumps/spots don't hurt or have any puss. No burning while urinating. I also have the beginning of an enlarged prostate. Are they related? I've had periodic spasms that feel like its coming from my lower abdominal although hard to pinpoint. I periodically have urges to urinate frequently and recently had a rash on the tip of my penis. No sexual activities in the last 4 months.
Avatar f tn A few years ago a couple bumps came up a couple inches under my belly button and they itched really bad. I scratched them to much and it caused scabs but the bumps will come and go. Ive tried all kinds of creams but it just seems to make things worse. I don't have bumps any where else but my skin is very sensitive and I'm allergic to alot of things but I have no idea what it could be would you please help me.

Avatar f tn Hello! I noticed recently that I have some pretty intense razor bumps on my legs. They show up on part of my lower leg, and a lot on my thigh. I use a moisturizing shave gel, I change my razor blade monthly, and I use lotion after I shower. The bumps are small and red, but not itchy. I'd like to know how to prevent this and treat it easily. Thanks!
Avatar f tn Hi. I'm a 32 year old male. I have been in a warm climate for two months now for work. Have been on doxycycline for malaria prevention. After shaving my scrotum and penis I developed redness on the scrotum. It doesn't appear as a typical rash. There are no bumps or raised skin or edges. Red skin that is dry (initially flaky), itchy, warm to the touch, sensitive and skin appears thin.
Avatar n tn It has been about a week since the latest time we had intercourse. However I started to notice a little red parch of skin that was very sensitive to touch at the base (by the testicles) of my "shaft". I didn't think anything of it. However today I woke up and it has spread a bit. (it looks different than the original area of sensitive skin). It is still at the base though but on the top of the shaft instead of the underside now. There are no blisters or bumps..
Avatar n tn my inner thighs are dark and itch. There are bumps and sometimes turns red. The skin peels off if itching to hard. Than on my testicles are red/pink bumps or dots. The sack is red sometimes. These bumps lead up to the scrotum, and around the head are really small sensitive tips/bumps. Im very worried and dont know what to do. What does this mean? What could i have?
Avatar n tn Did either of you ever get a definitive answer to what the red bumps were? I'm going through the same thing...little bumps that resemble pimples, but aren't - and they come primarily in pairs. It's getting worse for me, and I've been to my PCP twice, the Dermatologist once, and been prescribed lotions and creams that don't work. (Not only did they not work, I had an EXTREME allergic reaction to two of the creams, that almost landed me at the ER!!!
Avatar m tn I wouldn't worry about it at all... unless you have reason to beleive you might be contracting a std. I'm sure if you ask any girl she'd tell you that dry shaving or shaving without enough foam can cause little red bumps on ones skin. As you know, I'm sure, the skin on a penis is very sensitive and using a dull razor might also be an issue. Try vit E or a very gentle shaving cream if you contiune to shave....
